Every single time I go in this store the men at the front always have to say they’ve never heard of what I’m looking for or that I don’t know what I am talking about and then I have to look for the supplies myself and find it and they act all surprised. Learn the products you have on your shelf before acting like your customers know nothing.

This is the helpful hardware place!! They always have what you need and a bit more. Great selection from BBQ to lawn equipment. They even have Mothers day and Fathers day covered with specials. Great folks in a great town.

Store personnel were courteous and helpful. The selection of plumbing supplies was adequate but higher priced than the larger stores. Bottom line is, you pay the price if that's all that is available. It is a good store overall.

Jake and crew are great. Needed some plumbing parts but didn't want to get out in the virus. Had been by Lowes and parking lot was full. Later I went to Covingtons and they had door side and call in service. I went to the door where they had a partition. Slid the old part in and told them I needed a flap for toilet and order a 3in. They asked age of toilet and gave it to them and they gave me the 2 in that I needed. Not only great service but didn't have to go back to exchange the part.

Been coming to Covington's for a long time. You can't beat a good hometown hardware store. People know you and they're helpful. They have more experience with what they carry to help you more. They know their stuff! They service Stihl and Scag mowers. This is where I get my Scag parts. They can even restring your bows. So there's lots to look at here and get what you need!

Gave them a chainsaw to repair in MAY. Finally had enough of it just sitting there and picked it up FOUR MONTHS later. Still wasn't fixed. They never made any attempts to contact me to update me of the status. The times I showed up asking about it I was either told the chainsaw repair guy wasn't there and they would call me back (never did) or that they had ordered parts and still waiting on them. I ended up fixing it myself (with non-Stihl parts) in 10 minutes tops.

This hidden gem has a hardware assortment with springs, clips, woodruff keys, oddball fuses, things we need from time to time and Lowes does not stock. They stick original LYSOL concentrate and cleaning products. They have a small engine mechanic who can repair most items. They actually cut keys, they had key blanks for Kia cars without the chip and GM products in stock. I had keys for 2 Kia and 3 Gm cars cut. They cut most padlock and house keys. They sell most hardware items and prices are good. PLEASE CONSIDER SHOPPING HERE BEFORE LOWES OR WALMART, ESPECIALLY IF YOU NEED A KEY CUT. THEY CAN NOT CUT LASER CUT KEYS BUT CAN CUT MOST OTHER KEYS.
