Would not recommend going to this Walmart location!!! Very messy and unorganized and many things in the shelves were not labeled and had no idea what the prices were. Many items were open and knocked over on the shelves as well, along with not many workers in the store to help and the few that were were just talking the entire time. Overall I would NOT recommend shopping here if you have a choice, and you definitely do as there are many better shopping options in starkville.

*I refuse to use self check outs, however tonight I was met with a pleasing outcome.As I stood waiting for an associate to come by the registers, I was met with a manager and associate , victory and Jacob. When I asked if there was a cashier on duty I was informed that due to short staffing there was not and an offer to resolve an issue. I explained that I do not check my self out and understand their issue but will offer to place my few items back, but would not be okay checking myself out. Victory kindly offered to ring my items for me, she was met with an issue on 4 of my 10 items. There were mis-scan and no scan issues with bar codes. Even one item rang up something completely different. Both associates expressed their understanding of why I do not self check out after these issues arose.From a proud union worker, thank you for resolving my issue but please employee and pay a decent wage to someone to work as a cashier.

The Starkville Walmart is okay. They are typically out of a good number of things, seeing as it is one of 2 or 3 grocery stories in town. But they’re relatively reliable for what you need!

Laura in the MoneyCenter was amazing!!! She went above and beyond to make sure her customers received the best service, and went out of her way to help us beyond what her job could provide!! Laura is the example of how a good employee should be, she deserves a raise! ;)

1/10 experience working here . never have I ever worked at a Walmart with a management team with attitudes & smart mouths. & didn’t follow your availability & COACH ignoring your concerns about scheduling. and changing your schedule it in the middle of the week & try and Question you about it. Thanks Steven or Steve for your help with the concerns I had. Allison Brewer & her team leads. (Every store is different instead of coming off rude , explain how yall department operates I do only what ik from yall & what yall tell me) less worry about a vest being zipped & half of the department out of dress code! Michel cool & was helpful .Need to do associate evaluation/survey on the leaders in opd. My old store the best store manager coach & associates ! I don’t usually write these but I had to even from an employee pov. & yes I had time to type this.

I picked up a order today and the young man that brought my order to my truck was the nicest and very friendly we must have talked for 5 minutes while he put things in my truck he was very friendly even shook my hand don’t know his last name but the name badge was Brandon

The only thing I have to say about walmart is that if I have to act as the cashier at self checkout, you need to lower the prices. I'm doing a job that the people you hired should be doing

I usually have pretty good luck with Walmart pickup. A few times there has been items forgotten and I have to go back etc. For the most part the convenience outweighs the mess ups. I love bringing my dog with me.

This one star is for the hair salon. As a n employee of Wal-mart I was told we get an employee discount there. But twice now I have been refused service.

It is Walmart after all. It is the epitome of vanilla. The grocery section, however, could do better with a tad freshness in its demeanor. Sometimes, the stock seems low and they could definitely do with more cashiers. Overall, just your average go to store.

Rita was a great help to me when I went to this Walmart. I was buying several items for my company (filled my cart and had to come back in a second time) and she individually bagged every item (took about 15 minutes of her time) and made sure I could carry everything without the items breaking through the bags. I really appreciated her help and could only think of how kind she was! I rarely see kindness like this in my home state grocery stores. After she was done helping me, I immediately knew I had to write a google review to make sure she knew her kindness does not go unnoticed. Thanks Rita!

The outside is not cared for it needs cleaning up it hasn’t got the new paint colors. The inside is all disorganized and dirty. It needs to be updated and freshened up Westpoint and Columbus cleaner and has the new paint colors. please update Starkville.

I despise this store but Amazon is 2 days away. Worthless employees would rather hold family reunions in isles and the help is always looking at their phones. This is the only grocery store on earth that starts stocking shelves on Fridays at 5PM blocking whole isles with pallets!Yup again. This time it’s Monday 25MAR24 @ 1630 and shelves are bare. Dairy case is full of past expiration date milk and cream. I told an employee in the area… they didn’t care

I use the grocery pick up service here about 1x/week...always great service! In particular, Jonathan has helped me several times and he's always super friendly, thorough and loads the items in my car with care. Even when it's super busy he is still always smiling and cheerful...very much appreciated you don't get that kind of service everywhere.

My husband went to the auto care center today and asked for two right tires and they put on the two FRONT tires. They had to charge the tires around and then broke the two sensors when changing the tires. My husband watched them break the sensors and they tried saying it was like that. They definitely weren't broken. I called and asked for a manager and was told one wasn't there. They closed the auto care center before they could try to fix this problem. Not good.

Undoubtedly, the worst Walmart I've ever been to! Shelves were poorly and understocked. One employee came in the restroom to urinate at the same time I was in the restroom. He stood not wash his filthy hands before leaving! 🤮 I went through the self check out area, and the employee that watches to ensure there are no issues, was watching videos on his phone! Wow! The shelves were bare in a lot of places. As I was leaving I asked what time they opened the next morning. Amazingly, no one knew! The only positive thing about this Walmart is that they allow overnight semi truck parking.
