When I picked up my dog from daycare he was crying in pain. Later found matted blood on his neck. Vet found 2 puncture wounds and sever bruising around his neck. I was never informed of any problems while he was there. I don’t think the dogs are supervised. I will never bring my dog here again and want to warn others.

Have been using the doggie daycare service as well as the grooming for a couple of months now and today was my worst experience ever. They were running over an hour behind with grooming without informing customers, the gentleman I spoke to on the phone acted incompetent, and over multiple conversations I was told 2 different times when my dog should be ready, and neither were correct. To put icing on the cake when I booked her grooming I selected the nail polish service, which my dog did not receive. Her cut looks fine but it is was not worth the unprofessional experience I experienced today. It is completely understandable that things happen, but when you over over an hour behind schedule it is common sense to let the customer know so they can plan accordingly.

The owner and staff are the best! My dog is very spoiled and can be a hand full but they are always so patient and caring and never turn him down. The staff stated that difficult dogs deserve grooming too and they always deliver great results despite my small dog’s resistance to grooming. Definitely show how passionate they are about taking the best care of animals! Will always bring my dog here and absolutely love the atmosphere of the new location!

My pups just stayed here for boarding and daycare while in town visiting family. They loved it and we're so tired after pick up. The staff were super nice, professional and answered all my questions. Absolutely love that they post photos of the pups while there on FB also. Absolutely recommend, and will be back next time we are in town.

Sheba is a mini Goldendoodle and Cleo is a mini Schnorkie. Today they were groomed and both look fabulous. Reasonably priced. We are definitely coming back. Next appointment for February is already made. Thank you!!!

Our experience:For years, we have taken our Yorkipoo to another establishment in town to get groomed, but because we were not able to get an appointment soon enough there, we looked for another option this time around. After looking at some of the reviews online, I was a little worried about trying the Dawg House because of some of the negative comments I read. However, a friend of mine highly recommended their services, so we gave it a try. We talked with Anna about how the cut should look and showed pictures to help her get a clear idea of what we were looking for. She understood, and within a couple of hours, our pup was ready. Her cut ended up being a little long and needed to be trimmed down a bit more, but we weren't surprised that it wasn't exactly what we usually get since this was our first visit at this establishment with a different groomer. I called shortly after pickup and spoke with Anna. She was very accommodating and said we could bring her in the next day to get the cut more to our liking; she explained that she didn't want to go too short because you can't make hair reappear but can always take off length. I took our dog back the next day and talked through the adjustments with Anna, and our girl was ready for pickup in less than an hour. She looked perfect!Takeaways:When I dropped off our dog the second time, she seemed perfectly happy to be there, and when I picked her up, she was completely calm and comfortable with the worker who brought her out. Additionally, we didn't have to drop her off super early in the day; we took her in about 10 minutes before her appointment and picked her up within a couple of hours. Not having to be there early in the morning was really nice since her appointment wasn't until 1:00, and it was also really nice to know exactly when she would be groomed and to be called immediately when she was ready. They said we didn't have to pick her up as soon as she was ready, but we don't like to leave her anywhere for very long if we can avoid it. Also, every time I called, someone answered the phone, and that was super helpful in communicating with the staff. They were very friendly each time we spoke with them, and it's nice to work with a staff that is willing and able to communicate effectively with their customers. Overall, we had a great experience, and we would definitely take her back again. I think the key to working with others is to be kind: have mutual respect, set realistic expectations, communicate clearly, and work together to find a solution if there is some sort of issue. We didn't experience anything that would deter us from sending our pup back to Anna and her crew at the Dawg House. We will be back! :)*Pictures: The first two are of her initial cut; the third picture is of her corrected cut.

My dog was boarded here on 3/3/23-3/5/23. My dog started to develop a serve cough and sneeze so I decided to take him to the vet. Smith Animal Hospital informed me that my dog was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. The vet informed me that the Dawg House was closed a week prior to me onboarding my dog and that the Dawg House had so many cases of upper respiratory infection that they had close down for a week for cleaning. Keep in mind, I was informed by this information from my dogs veterinarian. I called the establishment to inform them of my dog’s diagnosis and informed them that my veterinary stated that my dog contracted with infection from their establishment. I spoke with Makinlea Crocker(Manager on Duty) and she informed me that there was no reimbursement that could be given for boarding or vet bill nor did they apologize. Later today, I then received a phone call from the owner Anna Garner. Anna stated that they couldn’t take accountability for the diagnosis for they put signage regarding this infection on the front register and Facebook page. Then proceeded to tell me that they paid for another dog to get their exam completed but not mine. Every time I board my dog here drop off/pick up their front door is always locked and I have to call their number to have an employee meet me outside in my car with payment and my dog so I have never been inside to see this sign on the register. Nor is there any signage on their front door regarding this outbreak. I also don’t follow their Facebook page for I only view information on their website, which also doesn’t give any information on this outbreak. The employees for drop off/pick up also didn’t relate this information to me either. The establishment failed to communicate this information verbally, post the outbreak on their website, and on their front door. I paid $96 for boarding fees and $226 for the vet bill and they won’t reimburse either fee nor apologize. For these reasons I don’t recommend you boarding and/or using their services for your dogs need.

Noticed the dawg house opened up on hwy 12 closer too my house so I was more then happy to give them a try. When I first arrived I noticed very quickly how loud the facility was with all the dogs barking. I dropped my dog off for a bath and groom and I can say it wasn't worth the money. There was dirt still on her skin, her feet were still stained a dirty color, there was even an old scab just sitting on top her fur. Her nails also weren't trimmed. It almost was like they just sprayed her with a good smelling spray and sent her home. On top of that ever since my dog came home she's been itching non-stop. She's on flea and tick prevention and never had them before so not sure what's going on. If I'm going to pay to have my dog bathed I would expect them to at least do a better job then I could myself.

I have two Australian shepherds they're Brothers I left them for 3 days at the dog house doggie daycare and they was to shampoo them clip them and shave them they did shave them but they also nipped them in five different spots on one they said when I got them home two days later I looked on the other one and he was nipped too really bad spots too and they were sick for 3 days and I don't think they fed them or watered them I don't think that's a healthy place to leave your dogs I would think twice it won't happen again.

They did a great job on our Bear! He can be a handful to groom. He makes it impossible for us to do his nails. They had great communication with me throughout the process. He looked great and we could tell he felt great! (No matter what's he said while he was there😂)

We boarded our Dalmatian, Dany, for the first time here. We were really nervous at first, but the staff added us to a Facebook group and posted pictures/videos every couple of hours and she looked as though she was having the time of her life!I would recommend asking for a bath before you pick your dog up, as Dany was pretty dirty when we picked her up (all that hard playing in the rain).I would recommend The Dawg House to anyone looking to board their dog!

They were very thorough in validating my babies’ shot and health records which was very reassuring. They did a great job bathing my labs and the grooming of my Yorkie was perfect. We intend to arrange standing appointments we were so pleased. Very friendly staff who seemed to like my dogs. Highly recommend.

I booked my dogs grooming appointment here, and they did not cut her head to the length I wanted, but the body looks good. Also, it looks like her nails weren’t even touched. Maybe because they are black nails and whoever groomed her was afraid of cutting them. I know they can be cut lower because I cut them all the time. The prices are all over the place. I called before hand to get the price range for her size and breed & was told $60-$80 before booking. On the day of, the groomer came out and told me $75 after he assessed that she wasn’t matted, but after she was done, another person told me $85. It’s definitely not worth what I paid.

Sent my dog here for three days as a test run since he’s never been boarded before, and he won’t be back. I sent him with enough food for three days, but when I got him back, he still had a days worth of food. So he didn’t get fed for over 24hrs at some point during his stay. He also came home and immediately drank two bowls of water, as if he hadn’t had water all day. He also has contracted kennel cough, despite having an up to date Bordetella vaccine, which really makes me question the condition of this place, especially since they don’t let you come in and are strictly curbside. Someone else I know had a very similar experience here, and I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but I was proven very wrong. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

I was really nervous boarding one of our dogs for the first time while we were out of town. The staff made me feel comfortable boarding both dogs with them, and were eager to give a tour and answer any questions. I love that they let you bring items from home! We loved seeing the pictures of our pets having a good time while we were away! We were just happy they were safe while we were out of town, but knowing they had a blast made it even better! We also got baths and a groom and were very pleased. Will definitely board again and would highly recommend!

My daughter’s standard poodle got the WORST groom she has ever had from here. It was like they had never seen a poodle before. Her top knot had a HUGE gap cut out of the back, no curved scissors to even up the front of her top knot…it was still hanging over her eyes. Her ears weren’t trimmed on the inside and cleaned. My daughter asked for clean poodle feet, as that’s how we keep her cut, and they did nothing to her feet and didn’t trim her nails AT ALL. Over the weekend, I had a mobile groomer come to our house while they were visiting to try to clean her up. The “mini groom” to fix the mess created here took almost two hours, without a bath. There was matting in her pads bc she had not had her feet done at Dawg House, and she actually had two of her toenails fall off at the talon level bc of the poor service done here. Lastly, the price was $91. We won’t be back, nor would we recommend.

I have been taking my Maltese there every two weeks for grooming for 15 years. I wouldn’t think of taking her anywhere else. They treat her Locke a queen.

Love this place, I came about a week ago and they did amazing on my yorkiepoos haircut! i’m very picky with her haircut because I like the puppy cut the best and they did so great, I would definitely recommend! They really listened to what I wanted and delivered! They also have pretty reasonably pricing!

My dogs loved going to daycare here. We were very sad when we moved because it’s hard to find a place that takes good care or your dogs. I had two dogs that started going when they were puppies and loved it. They were so excited to go and would RUN inside. I loved looking at the pictures and videos they posted on Facebook and how the workers would tell me how they did and any funny moments. Loved it here!

The Dawg House Salon went above and beyond to work us in for emergency grooming. We were travelling on business and our service animal Kai got a mice sticky pad that was under our hotel bed stuck to his fur. I called Dawg House immediately and owner said bring him in. As soon as we got there, they took him in and took proper steps to getting him taken care of, and when we left made sure we had Vet names in case he got sick from the poisoned pet pad. I can honestly say, after the trauma for an 8 lb toy dog, he seems to be eating, drinking, and comfortable, and I attribute it to his awesome care and nuturing from the groomer and owner of the Dawg House Salon. Happy dog owner, from the minute they answered the phone😅

My dog Nola is 5 months old and she (and I) absolutely loves going to doggie daycare at The Dawghouse! She gets so excited when we pull up! I love that they post photos every single day so I can see her throughout the day. 15/10 would recommend!

Awesome place to take your dogs, mine absolutely love this place and I don't ever get bad reports about my dogs not being good while being groomed! Everywhere in town costs about the same but The Dawg House usually works them in same day or next.

When making grooming appointments they don’t send you reminders or emails about your upcoming appointment. Their customer service skills are horrible! I’m glad I found a better dog service!
