The groomers finished a little early and my dog left looking and feeling happy. The groomers took time to listen to me list out my dog’s many health concerns before the groom as well. I warned them that he may need a muzzle for his nails as he typically doesn’t behave when other groomers do it, but the women working there told me afterwards he was unbothered during the trim and didn’t need the muzzle. The full groom cost me about $57 and my dog doesn’t hide in shame afterwards like he did with other groomers. I don’t know what these groomers do differently to make my dog so happy than other more costly groomers but I know that I do appreciate the love they put into their work.

I get my two large breed dogs brushed and bathed, deshedded, and nails clipped, there on occasion. They alway do a great job and both my dogs really like Karleigh!

If you need stuff for your animals they are one of the places I would suggest you to go visit bc they will work wit u to make it easier to afford by matching prices and they have a better understanding when it comes to things u need for ur pets and if ur looking for a cute Lil pet like a leopard gecko which I had bought from them they will tell you everything that it needs to make it have a good long loving life they are very helpful and friendly ppl it's totally worth the visit

I adopted a cat from herr and honestly i am very happy, the staff is very friendly, i told them how i have very little experience with cats and they helped me get the yoys and the necessary things to have a cat at home with no problems, i recommended going there if you wish to adopt in Starkville, tge shelter may have more choice but they will give you a sick pet and deny it ever happened, petsense are more straight forward.

I bought boy hair holders to keep my puppy's hair out of his eyes. His hair is too pretty to cut. I bought a doggy cupcake with sprinkles too. He ate it. Great day at PetSense!!!

Staff was very knowledgeable about the dog halter collar (had to be pink) and advised my wife and I to exactly what we wanted and needed. We were out of towners, and knew the name. But were familiar with Tractor supply. Will be back in town in 3 weeks to revisit

I always thought this was just a cats and dogs store, but when I needed some supplies for my chameleon last minute/day of I decided to call and see if they had other items. The lady on the phone was so nice and the two ladies I've encountered in store the past couple times have been SO nice and super helpful! Always super sweet and personable. I'm thankful to have something like this in Starkville - with excellent customer service - for when I need some last minute supplies or food for my little friend.

Kaleigh is an AWESOME groomer!!!! I have a 2-year-old miniature schnauzer and I have been searching for a good groomer for 2 years and I have finally found her. She's so nice so professional and it's a great atmosphere.Diesel and I love her.

The young Lady that checked us out was nice but there was this other Karen that works there that had an attitude and got loud with me. She was rude and nasty. She better thank God my kids were with me cause I’m trying to set better examples for them or else I woulda rocked her ish! I’m spending money in your store and you wanna act like a Karen? Gtfoh

The groomers are horrible. I don’t know if they are untrained or just plain lazy, but they don’t do well. I took my shih tzu and yorkie. Uneven cuts, didn’t do the faces or tails at all, just incomplete. Completely disappointing.

I have visited thus place several times and they seem to be very knowledgeable and friendly. The prices seem to be a bit high, but hey what doesn't cost an arm and a leg theses days. They have a big variety of items and try to accommodate you any way possible. If they don't have what you need they will try to order it or help find a solution to your issue. I've been to other pet supply stores that aren't near as friendly and accommodative. They also don't discriminate on what your pet is our, our what breed that you bring in. As long as they are friendly and contained, all pets are welcome.

We brought our fur babies a bath ,trim and one of my fur babies for a mini groom, I did get a text back from one of the groomers stating that she can't groom my other fur babies due to she had just taken a shot which I understand...by the time I got the text she said my baby was already shampooing...Okay, it doesn't stop here!! they were both still wet was not blown out dry still tangled face dirty was not combed out nit brushed...one groomer told me that they keep water in the Kennel. but look at this why is that babies wet on top of their heads face under the neck and tail. Very Bad Service will never take my babies ever again!

Got my dog groomed there on Sunday! My regular groomer couldn’t fit us in. Karleigh opened up her schedule to fit me in. My dog always has a hard time at the groomer because she gets very anxious. Karleigh was patient with her and spent time with her and actually cared that my dog had a good experience. We will be using her from now on. She is FABULOUS and deserves a raise. Karleigh was very nice and professional.

Awesome customer service from the sale ladies at this location. But the prices are very expensive. I think I paid almost $20 for a bottle of mouth wash for dog that I could have gotten from Walmart for $6. Same size and brand.

The staff is absolutely awsum here!! Very friendly and knowledgeable, and will help you in any way they can! I've been in there several times over the last several months, and they rembembered me-even with our mask on! And ask how my dogs were doing and if what I had purchased before, if it had helped. No doubt I will be returning again!

I give it three stars not because of the staff because they are AMAZING but the store needs to really do something about the amount of insects they can carry. They are always out and do not keep enough to meet demand. I'm having to buy online or go to 45 miles to Columbus from Sturgis and it's freaking Killin me. I have 2 bearded dragons and a Texas broadband copperheadhead so I need quite a bit of insects and frozen mice or fuzzies and some days they don't eat because of how hard it is to find the insects to feed them but I can feed them fresh salads daily as I do already but they should be getting more because they don't eat a whole lot of greens. Oh and please get more decorations for the reptiles yall sell like the beardies and leopard geckos lol. Yall have some slim pickings in that section. Other than that it's a really great store and feel like the staff are my extended family!❤❤❤❤

Everything is very neat and organized in store. The manager is super Friendly and professional with her customers, it makes shopping there really pleasant. They answered all of my questions efficiently and helped me to the best of their abilities. 10 out of 10 would definitely shop there again!

Great Prices and Great Service! The workers here are so kind and truly genuine about helping get what you need to care for your pet. Prices are lower than walmart or Kroger and is definitely helping me save on gas so I dont have to drive to petsmart in Columbus.

My puppy’s ear was badly nicked and I was not informed. (Found the cut when I came home) I understand mistakes happen definitely with puppies but I should have been told there had to be blood. They also don’t know how to groom curly hair.

I rather give zero star if I could and would never come back. My puppy spent three hours there this afternoon for a bath and nail grinding. When they finally got her ready, she came out with half of her body wet, during this winter temperature. Not to mention, multiple nails were still sharp, some nails splitted. I asked the groomer if she was okay, she made it sound everything was all right, while my puppy was freaking out the whole time. Seems like they only care about getting the job done but about my pet at all. While the job was far away from being done at all!!!

If I could give them zero stars I would! This establishment has NO business selling or adopting out live animals. Their corporate office does not provide training on how to maintain the animals and because of that the animals are suffering. Their problems do not stop at corporate though! The manager of the Stakville store has shown on several occasions that she has no interest in taking care of the animals properly or educating her staff to do so which is pathetic. I would not recommend visiting this chain store if you are looking for any knowledgeable information about your pet or if you are looking to purchase any live animals. From cats to fish to reptiles, this store has severely dropped the ball and continues to put the lives of these animals at risk due to poor knowledge and motivation.

They don't sale many live pets, but have most everything you'd need for any pet. I go there regularly for live food for my gecko, and they have great employees.

Sold a kitten to my granddaughter that had heart worms. Took the kitten back but would not refund the purchase price of $50. Only had it two days!Beware of buying from them
