Options given, I would rate it with hundreds of stars. The best grocery store in town. The standard is comparable to any good grocery stores in bigger cities. I would recommend to make a Kroger card. There are many coupons and offers given when you hold the card. Not to mention, the fuel points you accumulate ( by shopping with the Kroger card membership) can be redeemed as a discount in their gas station. Their fresh produce section has always fresh and good varieties of vegetables and fruits. Organic section is also there if you are rich. The cheese section is pretty big and fancy. They have their deli and bakery section running everyday. The meat/ fish section for fresh ( not live ) fish/ seafood/ meats. You can ask them to cut the whole chicken ( within 5 pm). The organic food/ spices / international isles are also very interesting to explore. You will get most of the groceries here, including a big section of cosmetic / pharmacy etc. They have scan and go technologies to shop independently. I love spending time in Kroger, and recommend the place very much. Lastly, there is Starbucks, Deli and a Ramen Bar ( including Sushi) if you are hungry.

This review is for the Starbucks in the Kroger.Anytime I come shop to Kroger every other week there’s always no one at the Starbucks… workers take their full breaks but it’s odd how every time I come there, they’re always never there. Also, they are always out of something or one of their machines are broken. Their Frappuccino and cappuccino machine always broken and takes forever to get fixed up to a month sometimes. Terrible service. Never satisfied here. Only good thing is they do make my drinks right whenever someone is there.

I LOVE the fresh sushi here, to the point I choose it over restaurants. It's such good quality. I gotta say though, the new chopsticks that y'all have switched to are terrible :(

I shop here just about every weekend, and if I didn't have to shop here I wouldn't. Yes they have a lot of affordable organic and natural foods, but that doesn't make up for all of the problems they have. Fruits and vegetables are rotten, and they don't remove them. They just let them sit there. There are fruit flies everywhere, and you will bring the fruit flies home no matter how hard you try not to. If you try to do pick up, they give you these rotten or nearly rotten produce, and they give you meat that is about to expire. When shopping in the store, you need to check EVERY date on everything. A large amount of their products are being sold with way past expiration dates, especially dairy. Last month I bought some Horizon blueberry yogurt that was on sale for my 2 year old because she loves yogurt. I get home a give her one for lunch. Later that week I went to give her another one and just happened to see the expiration date. It expired in April 2022, this was July 2022! They put this item on sale knowing it was it was 3 months expired. And when I went back a couple weeks later THEY WERE STILL SELLING IT! I have also bought dip that was months expired and growing mold when I opened it. I have seen them selling milk that was expired, and it wasn't just a jug or two, it was like all of the Simple Truth 2% that week. When they did the restructure to where they moved everything around earlier this year, I found a box of baby granola bars in the baby section that I had not see since 2020, so I checked it be for I got too excited. It was a year expired. Don't trust what's on sale, and always check the dates on their products. Someone is going to get food poisoning from their products. This weekend was also the first weekend students were coming back, and they jacked up all of their prices. I have had trouble finding stuff over the summer and back in the spring. I know there has been some shortages in food and stuff, but this weekend they suddenly had everything stocked. Well everything college students would want that is. Like I said produce was picked over and what was left was all rotten or nearly rotten (especially the tomatoes - I should have taken pictures).I can't wait for Aldi to open! Then I won't feel like I have to shop here.Edit: It's August 26 and they are still selling this milk that is dated yesterday.

Very disappointed that Kroger won’t add the points I didn’t receive on my last purchase. I felt as if I was on trial the whole time I talked with the representative. After 3 phone calls, still no resolution.

Spacious, Clean and WELL STOCKED! Only nay and a reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is because the employees need a tad bit better attitudes and more knowledge of where the products are in store.

This store is a health hazard. Whenever it rains (which seems to be all the time these days), the ceiling leaks like crazy. Buckets and puddles of standing water everywhere. There are times when the inside literally stinks in places because of this. It really is disgusting.

Terrible customer service experience today. I went shopping last night and made 2 separate purchases and should have received a coupon with a code to redeem for a gift card and my receipt clearly states it printed. When I asked cashier about my coupon she said it didn’t have one. I got home and looked and should have gotten the code towards the Gift Card. I go back to the store today, the next day, and the customer service person said there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to a manager and spoke to a different person who gave me a 1-888-8coupon number to call. That number has nothing to do with Kroger or the rewards program. I asked to speak to a store manager and was again told no one else was there. I left called the bogus number and called Kroger back again. I was told oops sorry we gave you the wrong number. And got a different member of management and he said he knew nothing about the previous interaction. I have previously had great customer service at this store but today makes me second guess my options when shopping in Starkville.

Store is stocked regularly. Produce section looks great. Love the bakery. Have plenty of help up front to check you out. Worth the drive.

Staff are friendly and I like shopping there except the prices are too high for me to be checking myself out every time. The software they have at the registers is awful and it's nothing to have the clerk have to come over 4-6 times per checkout. Takes twice as long as it should and if I need to train on your equipment you should be issuing me a w-2.

The best grocery store in the area. They have sales on meat(fresh) quite often. Fruit and vegetables are always fresh. Just a nice, clean store.

Always good. They even have real people to check out if you don't do self checkout 😉. And when self checkout stops randomly and says help is on the way, they usually respond pretty quick.

The pharmacy here is horrible comparing to Walmart. They refused to get OTC medication in drive thru, claiming they were busy which was not true as I can see everything thru the window. Avoid this pharmacy and go Walmart instead.

The store is generally ok, there are some cleanliness issues but the one thing is absolutely unacceptable are the out of date products. Each time we are on the shopping we notice back home that at least one thing we paid for is outdated. Eggs, meat, bread... You name it. At March 30 we even found on the shelf in store yoghurt that was 2 weeks after deadline. Getting tired of this, loosing money on outdated products... Be very careful when shopping there!

Clean and well managed, but this place is always stressful to shop. Check your final receipt. There are price errors. Staff do not know how the promotion or coupon works unless they falsely advertise promotion. I hope everything may be straight forward so that their staff know the stuff on their place.

This is the best Kroger that I have ever been to. It's the biggest I've been into and looks nice. It contains a Starbucks and a sushi bar. There are 8 self checkout terminals and plenty of registers open at all times. There is usually 1 or 2 customers to wait behind in order to check out. The produce section is really nice and always looks fresh. The bakery has great food and the shelves are always stocked.

I stopped here while in town. I only stopped in to get a coffee at the Starbucks located in the store, but I was impressed with its cleanliness, variety, and extras. It has a sushi counter that also serves meals (fried rice, various chicken dishes, lo mein, etc). It has a large sitting area connected to and near the deli, sushi area and Starbucks. By far the best Kroger I have ever been to.

There's an excellent assortment of products at the Starkville Kroger store. The meats and produce are always abundant and very fresh. There are some good specialty sections like their bakery, cheese bar, deli and a sushi bar. The employees are friendly and very helpful which makes shopping at this store a good experience overall

They switched everything to self checkout, and then they can't even staff enough people to keep the self checkout open. I just tried shopping there and the lines were backed up to the back of the store because only 3 self checkout kiosks were open. I asked why only 3 were open and the employee told me they didn't have enough people available to open the rest of them.... Ridiculous...

Wonderful produce, meats, and good prices especially with card. Good selection of everything. I also love the new scan-bag-go option! It works flawlessly. The parking lot is hard to navigate and kind of small, but theres not much to be done about that.

Excellent Customer ServiceCynthia and Montel teamed up to see if they had a drink that my wife, who is visiting Starkville, needs for hydration-Biolyte, due to the intense heat. Cynthia was very patient as I described what I was looking for. She said she would try to get back to me in the morning. Well, to my pleasant surprise she called my back within 5 minutes. Montel found the drink that I had requested and advised Cynthia. I explained that my wife had an allergy to the flavor .they found. I asked if there were other flavors, she immediate went to look for them told me about them.They are a 5star+ combination for Kroger.

This is the best Kroger I have been to. They have a great selection of fresh food and sea food. And if anyone wants a great plate lunch go to the deli and get the pork chops smoothered in gravy with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. They have the best plate lunches ever!!

Longtime shopper of Krogers from before when they were located next to Starkville High School. 30+ years of always friendly staff, great quality/ selection, and comparable pricing to other markets in area. Greatly recommend getting Kroger card and app usage for coupons.

Eh. They finally have the Click online order service! Selection is not great for anything but traditional basics. No good selection of international or gourmet foods. Just okay.No, the sushi is not fresh, but way did you expect?Does have a decent Starbucks, though they are not the best, brightest baristas - it's the high point of the store (note that it's not actually the store).Rx/Pharmacy is terrible - rated/reviewed separately.

This place is so much better than Kroger in Columbus!!! Wider aisles, wider selection, and more organic items. The parking lot is also way better. Honestly, I should probably give them five stars for what/where it is but they don't meet the friendliness of a Publix (nor quality).
