I visited this store yesterday, 10-30-23. I had just got back into town after having driven some 350 miles and just did not have the time or energy to drive to Costco, though I knew what a disappointment the Sam's Club of Southaven was going to be should I have chosen to visit it instead.Lunch prep is made very easy for me when using a rotisserie chicken to place on top of a salad. The biggest problem of course is that Sam's no longer makes them available for purchase. Should I have chosen to visit Costco instead, that would have been a non issue for me.The shelves at this location are almost always sparsely filled. More times than not, they are on the side of bare rather than filled.With no real competition in DeSoto County, they simply do not care to provide a worthwhile experience. I believe the management team needs to be replaced at this location as nothing else would motivate the store to change their status quo of simply not caring.

This weekend April 19, 2024, we were having a themed party soI went in store to pick up our bakery order to find out that it wasn’t ready because something was missing. I was told that I would need to speak to an I was told that I would need to speak to a manager And Makayla In member services was extremely patient and helpful. But it was Marla the manager who only helped to make it right, but she went above and beyond by getting up early prior to her shift to check the other location and get what we needed. She really exceeded our expectations And our event was saved! I see a great change coming for this location. Thank you to all of the staff you were all very polite and patient and apologetic.

Well stocked clean store and friendly workers! The man and women that work in the eye center are amazing!! The women helped me find a pair I would like for a decent price. The man that had glasses on he they both worked Friday January 26, 2024 and he did a wonderful job. As a business owner myself he recommended the warranty on my glasses which I would not had bought but he up sold me. He told me about the free drink. Told me about the brand I got without me asking. He said the glasses I picked brought out the color of my eyes. Both of them were hands down amazing!! The cashier at self checkout was kind and very helpful. And the lady that is at the door as you leave smiled and was extremely friendly. Wonderful experience from the moment I walked in to the moment I left!

Y’all done pissed me off for the last time! My online order was to be delivered between 3pm-5pm and it’s now 6pm!!!! Used the live chat for an update only for them to tell me my order was picked up at 5:15pm and still was not sure if the driver was on the way! Advised me to call the store! I called the store only to be put on hold and the phone rang until it disconnected!!!!!!!! Y’all make me SICK! Just unacceptable! No compensation for the inconvenience! Food is too expensive for my order to be missing and not delivered! Y’all need Chic fil A training on how to properly run your business! This is the third and last time!

After paying for my items & headed out of the store, I was told there were no boxes to put my items in. I looked behind the lady who verifies your groceries to see lots of boxes being used for the online shoppers. If you don't want your in store customers to use the boxes like before, supply free bags. My money is green like the online shoppers. Nobody wants to have to throw their food in their 🚗 then take your groceries out if the 🚗 one by one, too tiresome. Very Poor Customer Service. Do better Sam's.

The club was well stocked, and the new employees' faces were friendly. The cashier was professional, knowledgeable, and engaging. We were checked out very quickly. The employees throughout the club were helpful and had positive attitudes with each other and with club shoppers. This visit was impressive compared to past visits.

Just went to get something light. Barely shopped, but I still love the store. Pretty crowded, kinda hard to find good parking spaces. I loved the Halloween display, so I took some pictures.

I did a curb side pick up it was a young lady by the name of Marcisia it maybe spelled wrong but she work by herself with no help and made sure all customers got their orders in a quickly manner she didn't give up she told me I'm getting your order out quickly as I can.. It was the EFFORT for me.. Thanks Again 😊

Appointment was 9am , let me dock in at 7:30am . They are super fast and friendly. in and out in less than 30mins .receiving hours are posted from 4am to 11pm .

Normally I’m happy with my service but at this point this rating is deserved. If I do curbside pickup, and the app tells me it’s ready, there’s no reason I should be waiting 45+ minutes for my groceries. If I wanted to waste 45 minutes of my life I would’ve just gone inside and got everything myself. In fact, had I done that I could’ve gotten everything faster. This is the second time this has happened and that’s already un acceptable, especially when I’ve watched almost 10 other cars pull up and instantly get their groceries. I did curbside for a reason, which is because I have other places to be but here I am still in the parking lot while I watch other cars get there stuff! Nice job guys!

🌴Very clean store. Some employees seemed like they wanted to help, some seemed to sneer. 🚫Nothing ticks me off more than an employee at a place where you need help and plan to spend money treat you like fecal matter stuck to their shoe. ¡If you don't like humans and being kind and helpful, get a different job! Missing a LOT of key brands 🍞types of foods we usually buy so after one or two unwilling to help employees and lacking some of the cheese and other items brands we love to buy, we decided to quit the store. BUT the little café server was WONDERFUL! 🍇

We had a pickup on 1/3/24 and it was a disaster. After waiting for over 4 hourspast the pickup time with no pickup notification, we went inside to check on the order. We were told by a SUPERVISOR that if you don’t go inside and ask about your order, they don’t get it ready!! Why have an online pickup system if the employees don’t use it? This is not the first bad experience with this store’s pickup BUT IT WILL BE THE LAST.

12-11-23 **Long Review**I called the bakery department today, keep in mind I called yesterday and let the phone ring for 5 minutes or so and it rung just as long today. A very rude, seemingly tired, elderly lady answered.I was trying to place a order for a cake, and if she didn't ma'am me to death like I was getting on her nerves. Lol! The customer service was and is Horrible and has really gone done. I couldn't get a word out without her trying to talk over me or rush me.I know we all get tired and with the Holidays approaching makes it no better but there is no excuse to conduct business like that. You could have gave someone else the phone or just not answered. Then had the nerve to call back, no way did I want anything from them at this point.Zero stars if I could. Oh, and when in store shopping the employees are not helpful but sure be in the way. Attitudes like that yall need a work from home job. If one at all working with people or the public. I had to remember to respect my elders cause lady, you almost blew it!

Sam's needs to ticket the people that park in the pick up spots but aren't actually getting an online pick up order. I go to pick up an order and all of the spots are full. There is only one person in one car actually waiting for an order. The rest are inside because they are too entitled to walk in like everyone else. This is beyond ridiculous. This is indicative of the character of the people in this area (you know who you are) and Sam's obviously doesn't care.

Half the time they are poorly stocked. I had to request lambchops from the back and the meat dept guy seemed annoyed that he had to unbox and price them. Came on two separate occasions no pizza no hot dogs. Too bad Memphis has limited locations cause I would never come to this location

Upon getting to the register a jacket I was purchasing didn't have a barcode. The supervisor nor the cashier would check the price. I had to physically go back to get another jacket for the price. I told them I thought it was poor customer service and would be calling in. He response was, I don't care! I will not be going back there! I'm from Michigan where customer service means something!

Scan and go is the only way to shop. The lines are crazy. Even on a Tuesday morning. Lines through the store and 20 people in line for food. Definitely get familiar with the app. Setup scan and go and also can place food orders in the app so you don't have to wait in line.

Not stocked. I usually get all my meat from sams when I lived in Florida but here there wasn't much of anything. Have to find a new store just for meat and bakery items.

A place to pick up order at 8:00 a.m. this morning for a between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. pick up. I got there at 4:30 after picking up Kroger and it still didn't show ready. I waved the little pickup girl down and she said she would be right back with me. She finally got to me at 5:30 and when I asked her what the status was if it was going to be soon because I live an hour and a half away and just want to get my food and go home. She just said that's fine. I'll cancel your order. If I could give this Sam's club zero stars I would. I got nothing but attitude from everybody on the staff. I understand being short-handed but it was ridiculous. Never use this Sam's club

The best thing this chain ever did was to do the Scan & Go option on their app. Makes shopping for multiple items so much easier. I don't have to hold up the lines or wait in line. Just scan as I add the items to the buggy, check out, and walk out. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Management team seems to have less than average training, especially in the food court area. Often the register is down and customers are sent to the nearest line register to purchase food items, then return to the food area to pick up their food. Not one time has the management team thought to post a sign with this direction to prevent long waits in line before discovering this. Also, may benefit from taking some tips from Costco. They are very efficient at serving long lines of customers.
