Megan was the employee working the aquatics area today! She helped my husband and I maneuver through buying our 2.5 year olds first fish. I have not owned a fish in some time! We chose the male beta that is red, our son asked for a red fish and thankfully they had one left! Megan was patient and helped us shop for an hour! She was knowledgeable and gave us thorough instruction without being pushy for us to buy expensive supplies. To be honest, I usually do not shop petco for my dogs, but now, I will be going there for my dogs and our sons fish, who has yet to be named!

I wanted to buy some different vitamins for my buddy King. I wasn't sure what to buy so I asked an employee for advice. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. It was a decent visit.

I am pleased for many reasons. My boy got a wonderful summer cut. I enjoyed knowing what I payed for and actually had an appointment and my puppy was done and ready to in a very short reasonable time frame! Thank you so much Petco!

Is it a very great place to stay. The service the people that work there so nice and polite and so help. Sorry about that I thought I gave you a five-star review. I must have did something wrong. But Fairfield is awesome place to stay.

They had limited animals but overall I enjoyed this store. As you may notice by the pictures, they are completely out of bunnies and hamsters and guinea pigs, but they did have cats, snakes, lizards, fish, turtles and birds. They were pretty much out of dog treats in the front as well but did have dog clothes, food and leashes. They had a good selection of crates and cages for animals and I loved how pretty all the birds are. The fish area’s are pretty small, it’s hard to walk by without bumping into someone, I w really hope that they can make it into an more open space. The store was a little stinky but I guess that’s to be expected with all of the animals there. I didn’t find what I was looking for, but I did enjoy just walking around the store.

Everyone was super helpful, Bill offered assistance with choosing my pets food and shopping for other necessities, he also informed me of training and shedding services; this was extremely helpful because im a new & first time dog mom. I didn’t catch the names of the ladies who checked me out but they were super helpful as well. Thank you guys for being friendly and assisting, it reassured my overwhelmed and over stimulated day.

The dog food aisles were completely blocked by large pallets of unshelved product. The pet shampoo section was nearly empty. The staff were pleasant and helpful even though the store was a mess.

Service was top notch! Courteous and service with a smile. Definitely a nice place to shop at. I had to get a new collar for my dog and the selection was good with every color represented. Loved it

1 time I went to petco to groom my puppy. I was so disappointed, but they stood by their mistake and tried to correct it . The facility is great to buy things for your pet. I love the atmosphere. I do go and buy things for my pet, but not for my puppy to get groomed

Had an amazing experience searching for aquatic plants and fixings for my betta tank! Whereas in the past I have felt rushed, Megan took her time and engaged me every step of the way. She was patient and very passionate!Megan represents impeccable customer service skills and represents the company well!

Bill was excellent and showed great customer service. We had a couple fish die on us and he tested our water for us and we got new fish for free. Highly recommend.

Have had my tank set up for several months and I got all of my fish from Petco. We enjoyed the customer service provided from the assistant manager to the cashier. It was altogether fun and fulfilling and the fish are very interactive with us.

While visiting my daughter, I did the pick up for her dog's food. The cashier was so friendly and helpful. She even offered help loading the large bag of food. The store appeared clean. Nice place to shop for your pets.

No major issue or problems. Most of my experiences are typical no one greets anymore I can literally go in pass two employees grab what I need go to register cashier doesn’t say anything except if I have a number I want to enter sometimes doesn’t even tell you the total just look at the screen you the customer will figure it out lol pay with a card they hand you a receipt and you go on your way still not saying a word lol so I don’t know if that’s considered rude or not but it does make you want to transaction to go fast because it is an awkward silence type of situation a tad bit uncomfortable it I should say. Over all petco (Southaven location) it’s self is clean. The shelves always look full and no product stacked on the floor or overstock piled up except in back left of store where cat food is sometimes it’s hard get product off the side wall because pallets will be stacked there but if you got a little climb in you it’s easy to grab what you need lol

If you are going for an aquatic purchase, be sure to do your own research. Staff is not very knowledgeable about aquatics. And a majority of the tanks were sickly.

They have a very nice store! No empty shelves, but their customer service sucks. I talked to a manager as well as 3 different staff members just looking for assistance with a few products. And they were very short.

Waited forever for help. Girl was so rude! Stopped right in the middle of helping us an started helping another customer.Then when she finally came back she kept telling up us prices the other ppl wanted! Then she said well the price isn't showing up on my phone, I'd have to go up to register for a price. And I said plz and she breathed hard an srugged her shoulders. Then came back to the wrong row, said they aren't even here, Rude! I said we are right here!

Beware!.. I purchased all my fish from this Petco. My tank suddenly became infested with anchor worms after my last fish purchase. When I went back to speak to them about it they were less than helpful and actually a bit aggravated that I was implying they infected my tank. They eventually gave me some treatment to put in my tank which ended up not working. I left unhappy and went to the Petco in olive branch. They were AMAZING, and offered to replace all my fish because as the manager said “it’s the right thing to do.” Save yourself time and heartache and go to the Petco in Olive-branch. This one doesn’t care.

The Southaven location has a nice store but the employees are rude when they do come to help but it’s hard to get help in the fish department. I wait at least 30mins every time I want to get some fish.

We brought our new French bull dog and soon as we entered. The lady from the training room came out and helped Ilya the entire time we were there. She was very knowledgeable on our dogs specific breed. Wish I would have gotten her name. Anyways she was a great help.

We really like this Petco. The staff are all very helpful. They know us by name . Especially our dog Charlie Daniel's. He gets his grooming done here and everything he pretty much needs like food and toys. We are so grateful. They do price matches on items and they have rewards system for savings. They also do online ordering. They also really take great care of the animals they have up for adoption. Great place ! Charlie has his favorite girls at his paw tips! Enjoy!

I’ve been taking my dog to Petco for a couple of years now and yesterday was by far the worst job they have ever done. My dog is a peekapoo and he looks like a pug now. This girl name Lex cut his hair on his ears so short that she almost cut his ear and on top of that his ears are uneven. I will be looking for somewhere else to take him from now on. The people they have now have no idea what they are doing. She would not have gotten a tip if I had seen my dog before I paid. This place has lost my business!
