I got a dog from this shelter over a year ago. He is such a sweetheart. Luckily it is a no kill shelter, seems how our Lovebug had been at the shelter for around a year and a half. The staff was very friendly and seemed to take good care of all the animals. I have stopped by there a few times in the last year and the staff and volunteers are always wonderful and the animals well cared for.

Very clean place, with super friendly people! They let us bring our Beagle in to see if the dog we were looking at would get along. We adopted Daphne that day and she is doing great!

My runaway pup showed up at an elderly woman’s home who called the shelter. They asked if she was able to bring her in and the woman explained that she no longer drives so they sent someone to pick my dog up right then. I was notified immediately and I was reunited with my sweet Daisy. Compassionate animal loving folks!

This adoption experience was wonderful!! The staff is fantastic!! They helped me and my animal with literally everything!! All shots, flea and tick and heartworm treatment and had him neutered for a very reasonable fee We could not be happier with the new addition to our family!!

Senatobia -Tate County Shelter is like no other shelter I've been to. My husband and I were welcomed with friendly smiles when we came in. We were donating a pet bed. While we were there, I wanted to take a look around. The very first thing that I noticed about the shelter was not only the friendliness of the staff and volunteers, but the cleanliness of the facility. There was not one trace of urine or feces smells. As I looked around I was stopped by a sweet dog that was not barking and looking straight at me. Long story short, I ended up adopting Clyde; which was not planned. I came to the shelter every day until Clyde was neutered and was able to come home. Each day, the staff was ready to get Clyde for me. I was able to stay as long as I wanted to visit with Clyde. Also, during our time of visitation, my husband took advantage of walking some of the other dogs. These animals at the shelter are treated like they are the staffs' pets. They get loved on, go on field trips, get baths and get long walks. Hands up to Khris for running a well-tuned operation. My love goes out to this shelter. Please stop by and visit. I called this animal shelter to save a stray cat that was on my property, the woman who answered the phone told me, she didn't believe what I said and that I didnt want to take care of my cat and she insuated I was a bad person by her condescending tone. I called her back to tell her I would find another home for the cat elsewhere and she then called me a "jerk" as I told her I would find somewhere else since they were apparently at maximum capacity. I would give this place a zero out of ten for the awful, distasteful, ignorance of the woman who answered the phone. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and this link was, weak.

The staff is absolutely amazing 👏 it's been a miracle from the beginning to end, they are so caring, compassionate, and go above and beyond the call of duty, I am so thankful for everything they've done for me. It's a blessing to have such love and care in our small town. ❤ ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤I encourage everyone to donate supplies to them. They really take care and love each animal as if they were their own. I am truly thankful for all their help !!!!

You euthanized puppies the same day day as intake! Absolutely disgusting! You euthanize perfectly healthy puppies rather than stepping up to the plate and doing a little leg work to work with rescue who committed. I understand running a shelter and rescue is difficult and you can feel defeated, but you are too jaded to do that, you need to leave that job to someone else. You have no business running a shelter and the community and these animals deserve someone with more compassion than you.

Love the dog we got, but the shelter is unacceptable. The shelter said she had skin allergies when it was actually mange. Vet also diagnosed with heart and hook worms. Called the vet the shelter had her spayed at and was told it was the shelter's responsibility to take care of that. Called the shelter and brought it up and was hung up on. Unprofessional.

If I could give them zero stars i would. I got kicked out of my house and am now living in my car so I took the cat I rescued a few months ago and her kittens in so they wouldn't have to be released in the wild and probably die. The lady there didn't care one bit that these cats had nowhere to go she flat out refused to help. Absolutely disgusting that a shelter refused to help animals in need. It was hard enough knowing they would have to go in the shelter and now they are going to have to fend for themselves in the wild with coyotes and whatever else because these heartless people wouldn't lift a finger to help them. I am so angry and sad for the poor animals. I have no idea why this shelter is even there if they refuse to help animals in need

How can the director of this establish order same day euthanasia on healthy puppies? There’s some sick things going on in this shelter and it should not be tolerated. I wouldn’t adopt a roach from u guys and this facility needs a new director if this is how he treats innocent animals. DISGUSTING

Since forcing out Hollie, this shelter has become a nightmare. Puppies killed for having ringworm when 2 rescues were trying to get them out. They were in the shelter less than 2 days when they were murdered. 9 sweet souls never given a chance to have a life. Unacceptable.

Euthanized a perfectly healthy litter of puppies same day they arrived, then lied and said it was because they had parvo. They already had a few rescues interested in them too but didn’t give anyone any time to come rescue them

Euthanizing healthy adoptable young puppies should be considered animal abuse!!! And then use the Parvo or ringworm as the excuse!!! If any had Parvo, your BOD and news agencies would have been notified, and ALL kennels cleared and sterilized. 😥💔🐾🌈
