One of the more decent Dollar Generals in the area I go to this one instead of the one in McHenry that's 5 to 10 minutes north because the one in McHenry never has what I need and they're all raised short-staffed it's not the employee's fault it's just so hard to keep up for one person

Great prices for a variety of brands and products. Usually can count on our local dollar general to always have what we need. Their member benefits make a big impact in the long run... Especially if you use them in pair with fetch rewards app and ibotta cash back app.

It was good today. Most days I hate going to saucier dollar general due to the rudeness from the employees. But since I leave in McHenry and they can't seem to keep things stocked in the new store which I think should have been alot bigger but then I don't get paid for thinking so I just bit the bullet and go deal with saucier.... But today was really a good visit even the manager stopped and talked with me.

Some employes husband was staring at me when I walked in and wouldnt stop. I walked out to see what my friend was doing and when we walked in he said something but i went on. I asked him why he was staring at me when i went to go checkout and he started to get agressive and shout. The manager came out telling me to stop and said i was the one starting it. She said she would kick me out if i didnt stop. I said go ahead this trashy dollar general slow anyways. I dont like random people staring at me while im shopping and this a horrible way to treat a daily customer.

No internet service. I shop on my phone. So I rarely go there. I won't shop anyplace that does not have internet service. I save on my apps. So shopping w/o service is like losing money to me. So stores that do not provide services will lose my business.

Store was not accepting cash because they couldn't make change . Didn't have any bags. Cashier said they would not have any bags until Wed. Always a problem when I go to this store shelves never stocked and employees are rude.

They are always pretty low on a lot to be honest. Even for a dollar general. Never really had a problem, though.

This store is a busy little place, but they staff their is always friendly and they are savvy enough to open 2 registers instead of out in the isles with a line of customers stretching into the isles.

Very rude employees. Apparently they are quite fond of threatening to throw customers out of the store. Several people are complaining about their recent treatment of customers. Family Dollar is right next door and very friendly staff. This store will not be getting any more of my money.

RUDEST employees I have EVER encountered. Workers are either not at check out & you have to wait for them or there is only one with a long line. Very disorganized store.

I love my local Dollar General . I buy most of my groceries at it . It's in close with prices with Walmart but it's closer to me .
