You might have to wait a minute to be seated... Then wait a few more minutes to be served, then wait another 30+ minutes to have your food brought out to you, but buddy, let me tell you, It is worth the wait! Those steaks were fantastic!Only real complaint was that the tea was not good at all, sweet or unsweet... Green beans weren't to our liking either, but everything else was fantastic!

Staff is so friendly, service is great, the food is what you would find in a big city, and we are blessed to have them in Ripley! In plain English, the food is excellent!! Don't leave, and I know you'll be stuffed, but it's worth having the skillet cookie for dessert, then go home and sleep it off... lol!! Best Steakhouse around!!!Parking: The have a far amount of parking. It works really well when people park the way they should!Kid-friendliness: They have a menu catered just for kid's.Wheelchair accessibility: The place has accessibility for wheelchairs & seems it should be fairly easy to get around in one, with gaming no stairs, wide walk way outside, and wide pathways inside.

First time eating here and it was so amazing! Steaks were cooked perfectly and the service was great. Nice atmosphere and they play my favorite music, country! Not the new stuff, the good stuff like Tim McGraw, George Strait, and Reba! We will be coming back for sure.

Great find. I've seen lots of advertising and finally got to try them. Friendly service, good food choices, awesome tasting creations. I had the steak kabob and loaded mashed potatoes. Danny had the scrap plate. It had fried fish, shrimp and oysters, boiled shrimp and a steak kabob with hush puppies. His side was sauteed mushrooms. Needless to say we made happy plates. Prices were very reasonable. We will go back.

Based upon the food it would be 5 stars but there is trouble with the service and timing. The steak came out with "some " of the sides. Ate the whole meal with the partial sides and salad but had to get the onion rings to go because they were done a full 20 minutes after the steak. If I had been able to get the whole meal at one time it would have been a better experience.

We recently visited with a large group of people, about 30. The restaurant knew ahead of time the number of people. Our poor waitress had us plus 7 other tables by the time we left. She was trying her best to keep up but honestly there was no way she could. A person from our table actually helped with refills and such because our waitress was running. Food also seems overpriced but I guess that is everything these days.

Was back in the area for Biscuits Steakhouse, I got the steakhouse burger. It's as big as a 55 Buick Hubcap and was wonderful. They got it going on up there, thanks for some great food.

Really really bad. Someone in management needs to be smart enough to realize that seating a table of 25 is going to impact the service and experience for every other table for the entire night. Service was terrible. Food was mediocre at best. Waitress was very nice but at a disadvantage.

This place has the best steak I have eaten in a long time. I recommend the Hoss. It is enough food for 3 to 4 people. The steak was Phenomenal. I recommend going and trying the Hoss.

The vibe was off to me. 1st I had to find a waitress to wait on me and my lady 2nd I seen folks seated after me get they food eat and was leaving when they brought ours out I just got a to go plate left 3bucks on the table and dip out of there. And the reason I left $3 is because the lady I stop I told hére I would tio if she took my order. I understand she wasn't our original waitress for what we were sitting but the woman who was supposed to been waiting on us never came to our table not once like I said I just was not feeling the vibe

After we waited a hour for our food it was cold A couple sitting with us that got there 30 minutes after us got their food before us apparently ours was waiting french fries . And I’m even going to say about the waitress . Then get to front to pay and tell the cashier and she acts like did not say anything about how bad it was

If you want the short version, don’t waste your time. If you want to know why keep reading. My wife and I love trying new places. We heard about this place and drove to try it. It is a cute little restaurant with friendly staff. The food is not over salted and the sweet tea was on point. Now the bad, my wife had a ribeye plate, I had catfish, and my daughter chicken tenders. She got two tenders, I got four half of filets instead of whole filets, and my wife’s steak was fair in texture and taste. We waited almost an hour, and they were not run over, and service was kind of slow for refills. The steak was comparable to one from Walmart and was not seasoned at all. This would not be a problem except the whole ticket was almost $75. Then they added an 18% gratuity that was non negotiable. Total dinner was almost $90 for a Walmart steak, two catfish filets, two tenders, and a salad bar that had a lot of brown lettuce in it. Overall I left very disappointed. Now a lot of people will disagree because they just love “local”, but save your time and go to the warehouse in New Albany. That is the place I use to grade others.

Have you ever been to Ripley, MS? A town of roughly 5,000 people, Ripley isn’t somewhere one typically goes to for a day trip or weekend getaway. It’s the kind of town you end up in for a specific purpose and on the Saturday night I chose to try this place out, several people had the same idea. As I’m walking in from the parking lot, I take note of tags from several different counties other than Tippah, the county in which Ripley is contained. I myself had taken the hour long drive to finally try the place I’ve heard so much about. Upon pulling into the parking lot, it was discouraging. The parking looked like a southern Baptist church parking lot when the regionally famous evangelist was in town. Folks were parked across the street and there were few spots to be found. It took a while for them to find us a table, about 30-40 mins, we had a party of 4. This place has so much potential but it doesn’t have an identity. It’s got the potential to be one of those restaurants that stand out for its food and offerings but it seems to be stuck in the mindset of being a country fish house. Beer and spirits are offered along side a decent selection of wine. The service was attentive at times but left a bit to be desired. There is a LOT of seating in this place and seemed like there were more people being seated than what the servers could attend to. It wasn’t an issue, just an observation. There were times where we waited too long to get a refill of our drinks. Again, not an issue as they used 32 oz (or larger) clear plastic glasses for the non alcoholic beverages. The real treat of the evening was the food. Those in my party ordered the pork porterhouse or the steak. I specifically had the 14 oz ribeye. The flavor was great and the seasoning was right. The only observation was the meat was a little more gristly than what I expected and there was a significant amount of fat versus lean meat. The sides were good and the feedback from the table was no one was disappointed with their choices. While there was an offering of essentially “steak for two” in the form of a 32 oz sirloin with 4 sides, opting for the the more expensive, better cut fail short of having a phenomenal meal. Again, the taste and seasoning was great. Just the quality of the cut for the price that was paid fell short of the expectations. I’d go back and try again at some point and I’d definitely recommend a country grown Mississippian or Southerner for that matter try this place. Just not quite a 5 star experience on this visit.
