The Orvis Store in Ridgeland is great. The staff is very nice and helpful. The clothes are wonder and are quality made. Plus, they offer in store events like fly fishing class and dog events.

First of all, what a great location. Going in the store is a great experience, and you see high quality clothing, and FLY GEAR!. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Just an all around great experience. I happened to be in town, visiting relatives, and signed up for a fly tying class. It was run by the store manager, and a couple of volunteers from the Magnolia FLy Fishers. All were were friendly, and obviously well versed in fly tying. Upon completion of the class, we had all tied a wullly buggar, and I had my first self-made fly to take home. I definitely recommend Orvis to anyone with an interest in fishing, and especially fly fishing..

Orvis is a sporting camping and outdoor goods store. It has a interesting look. It is well stocked with many different brands. They have decent customer service. Prices are commensurate with other places like it. I have only been in there once or twice as I am not big into hunting and fishing and camping so much.

We went to exchange a shirt purchased online. Jana helped us out and recommended a pair of pants she said her husband wears a lot. I tried a pair on and immediately loved them. She took a lot of time with us and made some suggestions. This is definitely a store I will visit again. I have seen Orvis catalogs for decades and had a good opinion of the company. This location definitely reinforced that opinion.

Great fishing gear and wonderful clothing. I own lots of Orvis gear and use it as often as I can. Never been disappointed with their products. Meredith and her staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and always welcoming. Their company has a global following but truly cherishes their local communities. I'm a big fan if you couldn't tell!

I have been in Orvis stores all over the country. This one, was by far superior! The store is clean,well stocked, and organized. The staff was extremely helpful and informative. Meredith ( The store manager) went above and beyond to help me locate everything that I needed. If you love fly fishing, I suggest visiting this store.

Stopped by just to browse, the three associates working were all very kind and helpful. Asked if we were fly-fishermen, we said no, and they offered up a free fly-fishing class/lesson that they offer each weekend.Store was clean, spacious, had a great layout and was very inviting.

Came in to browse around, spoke with Rob at the fly tying station. He was very knowledgeable on local fly fishing hotspots and was very personable, great first time experience for someone who has never been to an Orvis store before. Great place to go if you need advice or quality gear!

I was out walking my dog, Batman, through the Renaissance when he began to act overheated. He refused to drink from the fountain and was beginning to refuse moving from any shade he could find. I remembered Orvis allows dogs and decided to head for the air conditioning. Once inside the woman behind the counter offered Batman a treat and then even brought him a bowl of water. He is a very neat drinking and got water and slobber all over the floor. Instead of trying to get rid of us, she assured me the floors would be fine and not to worry about the mess. I did not even have my wallet with me. Way to go Orivs!

Good selection, it looks like. I'm more of a camp/hike, and it seems geared towards fish/hunt, so not as relevant for me. Still worth a check if you're interested in outdoor adventures.

Got some great flies here for bass fishing! I'm pretty sure it's the only place within 100 miles of Jackson that knows what fly fishing is.
