HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK!!! Just left this location and had issues trying to use a gift card received for the holidays at self checkout. The young lady working the section was very nice and tried to assist but stated that we may need to go to the customer service desk and have a cashier ring us up. My husband and I proceeded and waited as another customer was being serviced. As we waited next, another woman walked in the wrong door and placed herself next. The cashier ignored us until I called out “Excuse me ma’am” and began to explain the situation. She coldly looked at me and replied “yea I can try to scan it” with an attitude and then proceeded to assist the customer who came in AFTER we had been waiting. We left. A little over $100 worth of merchandise because rude, incompetent staff. Please stop placing rude reps at the customer service desk!!!!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK!!!! My husband and I just let this location. We were using self checkout and encountered an issue trying to utilize a gift card ( we verified there were funds in the card). The young lady working the self checkout was very nice and tried to help but stated that maybe we needed to go customer service and be rung up with at the register. We proceeded and waited while someone else was being serviced. While waiting, another customer came in the wrong door and stood waiting as if next. The cashier did not acknowledge me, acknowledged the customer who was NOT next and had a visible attitude. I explained that we were self checkout as told to come here for assistance. She rudely replied she could scan it and proceeded to assist the customer who was not next. We left. A little over $100 worth the items. You probably shouldn’t put the chick with a nasty attitude at the customer service desk. The whole experience was frustrating.

It's always a great place to shop. People are friendly and knowledgeable. I use pick-up mainly, but the few times I have been inside, they never failed to impress. Kudos to the people bringing out your orders in all weather; Chris and all the rest.

The service here is second to none.. when it comes to being bad. Employees are rude and the customer is an inconvenience. God forbid you grab an item that’s not stickered with a barcode. The cashier will tell you that you should have taken A picture of it. Only come here when it’s something you can’t get elsewhere. Other locations may be better.

Ask 3 different employees for help. Even learned the name of who I needed to help me. Ask customer service to please page this person so I could get assistance needed. She stood there for 10 mins doin nothing before pagin. And paged once for employee I needed to ignore!! I will take my money to stores that appreciate their customers

Horrible customer service, very hostile environment. Waited almost 2 hours to look for item only to be scold at and told that 1 item meant display, and it couldn't be located. Worst experience ever. will not be returning, (Oh and BTW, i was going to spend $1100.00, took my hard working money to Home Depot, they treated me well.)

I needed to exchange a faucet because it didn’t come with a soap dispenser like I thought. The Ridgeland store says they don’t do exchanges and can’t put it on a gift card for you to purchase the item again. The only option is for you to return the item, repurchase it, and wait to get your money back. And the fact that they did it at the two stores in predominantly black areas…I’m pissed. They don’t have to ever worry about my money again!

Clean store friendly service... Short wait for cashier outdoors in plants... Inexpensive merchandise... Great sales and even greater clearance sales... updated 3/28/24.... Since my last review, this store has apparently hired new staff which are no longer doing the wonderful job.That the previous staff was doing. Tell me how a manual glass cutter a hand tool.That requires no power and really is almost unbreakable.Tell me how that can be at a service and broke... Apparently there is no staff that is not capable of doing the job that they are assigned to the section of yet they are still working and telling people that the glass cutter is broken and due to that they are unable to cut glass .. if it isnt lazy or under qualified for the position, what is it? this is ridiculous.. gonna need you to do some more better guys

Went to get some lumber to finish up my project. The shelves were empty, but luckily the two men working that section were re stocking one of the items. I asked if they could pull down the other item, and without hesitation, they said no problem. Thank you both for the customer service.

Absolute worst experience of my life. Took two days off work waiting for a fridge which didn’t show up first day. Went to Lowe’s manager was not available on two separate occasions. Employees couod care less and actually lied about when delivery would occur on 2nd day. Have called and left number for manager and no one has called. NEVER AGAIN

This store has horrible service. They always blame "a shortage of employees". The Madison store has excellent service and they don't seem to have any shortage of employees wanting to work. It sounds like the Ridgeland store has a management problem.My curbside pick-up order took over 50 minutes to get delivered to my car. It probably would have taken longer had I not gone in the store and asked for the manager.I will not be using this store again. Strike 3 and they are out.

I went to this location on October 25, 2022. I received outstanding customer service from James in appliances. He was very helpful and patient with me. He even helped me pick out ceramic tile for my kitchen and restroom. The young lady was on lunch break in the flooring department. James was scheduled to get off at 7, but stayed later to assist me with the purchase of my stove, flooring, and other items!I am forever grateful! He scheduled my delivery for Friday October 28th. My items were delivered around 9 this morning!

3 weeks ago I purchased a fridge that was in stock at the store, and was given a delivery date of 2 days later. I took off work and waited & it was a no call/no show. I called them back and given a NEW date of 6 days later. EXACT same thing happened again. 3X more this happens and again, no call no show!Has anyone else had this experience?!!!!How do they stay open?!!!To make it even MORE disrespectful, this site won’t allow you to give a “Zero star” review. You don’t deserve even one star when you take $3000 from me and cause me to lose 5 days of work for your no shows!

On this day, as well as the previous Saturday, my trip to this Lowe's location was a total disappointment.I needed assistance Saturday and whenever I need assistance in Lowe's I always seem to get the employee with no knowledge of the department he or she is working in....as was the case in this instance. The employee was, however, very polite.On today when I went to this very same Lowe's it was more of the same as before.The employee assisting me in hardware was on a personal phone call which he DID NOT end when he came to assist me, however, he was very polite.Then I went to checkout and there was one cashier at the self checkout lanes. The 2 self checkout registers were disabled and he was the lone cashier trying to keep up with the quickly growing line which was extending from self checkout to down one of the aisles.I counted 6 employees on the front end between returns and self checkout and I could see only 1 person working returns and 1 working self checkout which left 4 standing around talking. Self checkout called for help and 2 girls came over and stood there talking for 2-3 minutes then went towards the return desk. In the meantime the line is still growing.A lady then left the line and went to the other employees standing around on the front end to ask for more cashier assistance and the girl who was called over earlier by the guy working self checkout came over and yelled out, WITH ATTITUDE, to us customers that she will take the next 4 people in line.I don't know what happened after that because my transaction was completed and I left.

I placed my order online for curbside pickup. I waited over 20 mins had to go inside to customer service they acted like I was not even standing there waiting. They helped out three customers after me while I’m still waiting on my curbside order that I had to go inside to get. Then when no one was around is when they asked if I needed any help. I told them what I had and one of the ladies going say I been looking for you. I was in her face the whole time she never moved nor asked me if I needed any help.

Having one register opened and 2 of the self check outs down made the line very long. I had to go get an employee from a group of employees standing around having a discussion about a flatbed and ask them to open another, which they did. I shouldn't have had to go ask them to do their jobs. Do better Lowe's!

I wish I could give negative numbers pertaining to my experience purchasing a dishwasher from this store. October 26th i purchased a dishwasher online and picked it up the next day the 27th. This store is almost 2 hours away from me so I needed to get back to install this machine in one of my vacation rentals which is another 40 minutes in the other direction. I arrived at my rental property and uploaded the dishwasher and unwrapped it for installation. When I unwrapped it I discovered it was damaged . I had to install the machine because I had guests coming in for 9 days. I reached out to the store to tell them what happened and they told me I only had 48 hours to return the machine for replacement or to exchange it. I hoped that because of the circumstances they could make a exception but they were firm about the 48 hour return policy. All this being said if you live a long way from the store you'd be better of buying locally. I will personally never buy from lowes again !!! Thier customer is well below average to say the least !!!

I went in and found exactly what I was looking for. I needed a light bulb for my microwave light and sometimes that particular bulb is hard to find. They had plenty so I bought a couple just encase. Love coming here because I get all kinds of DIY project ideas.
