I was charged $250 for a bath for my golden retriever & two shave downs on my 2 cocker spaniel dogs. The bath was fine it’s hard to mess that up however The grooming work done on my 2 cocker spaniels was horrible. My boys private area was bright red irradiated. Both of them were patchy and they had missed several spots of hair just hanging. Will not ever be returning.

We’ve been bringing our miniature schnauzer here for grooming for about a year after trying other groomers in the area. We’re very happy with the customer service, quality of our dog’s haircut and bath and the overall cleanliness of Diva Dog. The price is comparable with other professional groomers. We’re happy we found Diva Dog and are here to stay.

I asked for shaved legs, hair half length and ears cut short and do not shave the nose. I told them i know it's an odd request. But we normally leave him long. Just going somewhere that we need his legs and ears shaved for. (Ticks, mud,etc.) His face looks horrible. Not round. At all. His legs have long hair all over them, his body has shorter hair than his legs. His nose, shaved. People there were nice but they cannot do what you ask them to do to your pup.

very good grooming experience for our standard goldendoodle. the only reason this isn't 5 stars is because the cost is quite expensive-- $130 for a full groom for our large dog (granted, he does have a high maintenance, non-shedding coat), which is literally the most I've ever paid to get our dog groomed. I'm not happy about the cost, but willing to pay, as we've had bad or subpar grooming before and it's such a hassle to fix. If you're worried, at least know that Diva Dog does deliver on services for the amount you are paying.Diva Dog paid attention to the details where other groomers in the Jackson Area have definitely skimped or thought I wouldn't notice: ear cleaning, genital area groomed, and paws groomed (including hair between the pads and nails nicely trimmed). Our dog also, for the first time, did not have any knicks or scratches on his skin from getting shaved down. He has sensitive skin and allergies, so anytime that happens, it's a huge annoyance because we have to then keep an eye on him to make sure he isn't obsessively licking the scratches and infect them. Additionally, our dog has a bony ridge on the top of his head, and groomers often don't trim the top of his head down and instead make a weird fro to hide the ridge. Diva Dog also did this (understandable... there's no way they could've known we didn't want that), but when I called the next day about adjusting how his face/head and tail were groomed, the owner told me to bring him in to have it fixed to our preferences, no charge or bad attitude about it. That, to me, was the real persuasion in whether or not I would commit to Diva Dog being our regular groomer.

We brought our 3 Basset Hounds in today for a bath and nail clip. The groomer was wonderful! He was excited to see our dogs come in, and asked questions to get to know them personally as we dropped them off. They were done way earlier than expected and when we picked them up they looked and smelled wonderful. All 3 were happy and calm when we got them, even our girl who is a little skittish with others. I would recommend this establishment highly to anyone looking to groom their dogs!

I wish i could’ve left a -0. My dog was at Diva Dog since 8:30am. I called repeatedly asking for an update every hour they would tell me he almost ready(which was a lie). I eventually went up there to check in on him after sitting in my car for 36 mins, they NEVER TOUCHED my dog.. they all was looking crazy as if they forgot. BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!!!! I see why my dog would cry for me while i take him in that place. The worst groom experience i ever encountered. On top of that the customer service the manager or owner had towards the situation was horrible. It’s “we forgot”. How you forget to do a dog that’s been there since 8:30am and y’all close @ 5:30pm…. NEVER AGAINNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!

Zero Stars!!! Horrible service. My Pomeranian dog came out with a buzz cut, uneven texture and looked like a bobble head. I specifically requested that my dog was not razored in any way. I requested that he only be trimmed with scissors only. They should not have senior citizens working the front desk, if they cannot hear, communicate or comprehend correctly.

Brought my wife's Imperial Shih Tzu to get the full package groom. This will be the last time. My wife specifally asked them not to cut her ponytail off they purposely cut it off anyway. And left her body with patches that were way longer than the rest. On top of that my wife dog was trembling in fear when my wife picked her up. The b**** in the back had an attitude when she walked in and the manager is overly ditsy. She doesn't seem to understand simple instructions. And doesn't care about the well being of the dogs in her care. My wife witnessed the groomer being extremely rough with another shih tzu she was grooming when she brought her dog in. You can tell the groomer doesn't like her job and is only there for the money. Is she even a certified dog groomer because our dog's hair says differently. I could have gotten better grooming at PetCo and that is sad to say. I won't be back. Nobody should have to pay that much for a botched haircut.

I called and made an appointment last week to have my schnauzer mix bathed and groomed. I dropped her off promptly at 8:30 a.m., per Diva Dog's instructions. While dropping her off, I asked two specific questions - (1) what time will she be ready for pick-up? and (2) will she be kenneled? I was told she would be ready by 1:30 p.m. - possibly 2 p.m. at the very latest. They also said that my dog, who is 50 pounds, would not be kenneled and that she could free roam in the little room she was assigned to. Called to check on her at 12:15 a.m. (so almost four hours later, right?) and was told that they had not even started on her and that she would be ready by 5 p.m. I made the decision to go pick her up immediately as I had a prior engagement from 3 - 6 p.m. I told them not to touch her and I would be there within 20 minutes. When I showed up, they said that someone would bring her out to me. I walked into the joining room where the "employees only" sign is and saw she was locked in a tiny kennel and was soaking wet (from the bath I asked them not to give her since I was on my way)..... I will not be back.

I don't think they want my type of person in their establishment. I made a fragrance purchase yesterday, where they carry Maison Paris Berger Lampe refill....I bought 3 bottles. They stopped in their tracks and watched me the whole time. It's not that serious baby. The only reason I visited was the Oreck store that carried what I need, is gone out of business. Get a grip.

Do not take your pup there for grooming. I made an appointment 4 days out for 9:30 am.. got him there on time… took them a minute to find my reservation. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Met with the groomer.. told him I wanted a 1/4 inch off and to not touch the ears. 7 hours later, yes 7 hours later… picked up my pup… shaved including the ears…. Wth? And, a $10 upcharge for mattes that he did not have

Worst experience ever my. I took my dog here 3 times because alot of my clients from my salon recommended it. The first 2 times they didnt cut her the way that I asked and also left a bald spot behind her ear. I specifically asked them to not cut her ponytail area each time it was cut completely off. I was never going to take her back for a third try but no one else had openings and my dog was a mess so I tried my luck. I expressed to the older lady at the counter that they cut her ponytail twice even tho i requested they don't she was very careless and nonchalant she did however "note it on her file". My mom called once I left to assure they dont cut her hair because they have twice and it takes forever to grow she got smart and said "hair grows" and started screaming over us she was very rude to me and my mom and told me she will not service my dog and to come get her all because we wanted to make sure her ponytail would be safe this visit because it has a little growth! I dont know if she was racist or just mean. I will never bring my dog here again! 0 stars

I was required to drop my dog off at your convenience, to wait all day for him to be serviced at your convenience, to get a very cold shoulder for being tied up at work, sent my partner to pick him up, got there 15 minutes after your usual closing time that you reiterated to me over the phone twice trying to tell me how important your time is, to then pay $110 ($30 late fee) for face, feet, fanny, tooth brush - and you didn’t give him back with my (more valuable than your services) leather leash. I’ll be back to get my leash tomorrow and won’t be back after because I can’t see the quality of the haircut through the awful attitude. The name says it all...

It's $90 for my cocker spaniel. I remember they used to be a bit cheaper. The quality of the cuts can vary. Sometimes my dogs cocker cut looked nice where you can see the nice cut on his face, back, skirt, and legs, + bath and nails, & ear cleaning. Another time I got a cocker cut and they just shaved his back and charged me $90. They have been nice people otherwise from what I've seen. You do book appointments and they do take almost the entire day normally (not that i mind since i'm never in a rush but just letting others know). What you pay for in quality is really luck of the draw. You have to be extremely specific with what you want and sometimes despite that my dog has come out looking funny sometimes.________________Edit 4/5/22:Their prices have come back down to $80 like what i remembered it to be.The cuts have become a lot better if I'm very specific about what I do and don't want. They are kind enough to allow me to bring my dogs bed so he can sit in the kennels with due to his muscle damage and arthritis.

Staff wasn’t there at 8am when our appointment was scheduled. There were at least 8 other customers waiting outside for someone to get there. Pricing seemed extremely high for a trim, AND our baby had cuts behind her ear!! We also don’t think she was given water all day, and she was there for an entire work day. Not pleased and will not be returning.

I made an appointment for the mobile grooming service for my mom's 3 dogs and the date was a holiday so we called to reschedule when no one showed. When they came back out there was a problem with the van so we rescheduled. The next appointment, they never showed and didn't call. We called back for one last shot and they did not show or call to apologize. I spoke with them and they said they had called my mother and she never answered but this did not happen. So, I called Diva Dogs to at least get an apology and the clerk only told me that she could see it from "both" perspectives and never really apologized. Unbelievable. Do not use this service we, and our friends, will never be customers of Diva Dogs

I took my dogs here for the first time and dropped them off at 10:30 a.m. They weren’t done until 4:40 p.m. What’s the point in making an appointment if it’s going to take all day. This was my first time here and definitely my last time. Also the cuts weren’t great either.

I brought my golden retriever in for a trim and they shaved her. Who does this to a double coated dog? I did not give permission in fact I stated specifically just a trim when asked. Their hair protects them I pray it grows back the same. I am devastated. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The Staff was Incredible rude. I was not greeted when I walked in, when I was acknowledged, the staff member pushed my dog off of her, and was extremely dismissive. I have a very friendly pit bull that wasn't simply greeting the staff memeber and she was pushed away, she gets groomed all the time and we have never had this experience. I would NOT recommend this place for anyone, especially if you are a minority or have a large dog.

We love Cheyenne,She is very attentive and My Pepper loves her,today she noticed that Pep had an ear infection,I had no idea ,The staff stays on top of things here , I believe they take notes which keeps them informed as to what the customer wants. I give them a A+ !

I have not been a huge fan but convenience had me come back. However, this last trim was the last time. . They take short cuts and my dog came out with an uneven cut all over and they shaved the bridge of his nose instead of just trimming it. Time to find a new groomer.
