Ramey's is a very nice place to shop. It is well-stocked with fresh products at reasonable prices. The store is always clean and personnel are helpful and friendly. It's a preferable experience to the big box stores by leaps and bounds!

They don't have any PVC fittings that you need and the employees don't have any knowledge of anything you ask them. I won't be going back. I'll drive to petal first.

Nice, clean store, friendly cashiers and I love shopping locally. The prices are always good in the weekly ad, can find a variety of brands, the store brands are always priced good. Edited this and it got reposted as a new review. This was 4 years ago and I gave a 5 star rating.UPDATE: Now the prices are really, really high, (reason for 4 stars) except the weekly ad items, and most of the store brand items. Most all of the cashiers are nice with the exception of one of them who ignores anything you ask them.The guys in the meat dept. are the best, very helpful, as well as the ladies in the deli, and Stanley is very helpful and friendly as well.

They need more registers due to having to wait sometimes but overall, they have everything needed. Prices are a little high for certain items but overall they are olay

Ace hardware is a waste of time but I give the star to ramseys. My problem with ace is the employees are very rude and are not helpful at all and ignore u when u ask questions I had ask about a bolt size and the employee got pissed and starting talking about me last time I ever shop there

I came by for a pressure cooker seal and the crew were friendly. Sadly the one I picked was priced 9.99 it was 16 they let me have it as priced. I just wish even that didn't happen. It did and was done correct even thou I am odd.

I absolutely love this grocery store. It’s quaint but they have a wide variety of goods, and It’s always such a peaceful experience. Which is hard to come by in most grocery stores. The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful.Today I thought a check had fallen out of my purse so I called up there and the girls working immediately jumped into action to help me find it. They did not make me feel like a burden. They were just friendly and they deserve to be commended for their kindness and hard work. I always joke that Ramey’s is my favorite part of richton.

The store is always clean. The produce is always so nicely organized . The meat market has the best meat and wide selection. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Kathy Edwards is a blessing to her customers.

I go to Ramey's to grab things for my elderly mom when I visit her. Aisles are clean and staff is friendly. However, I had to beg 2 stock boys ,who were on an aisle talking about girls, to go in the back to look for something for me. One boy immediately told me they didn't have any more. The other kept quiet. But I explained how desperate I was to find the items for a family reunion the next day and they agreed to go look. And guess what? To my surprise they had 5 more packs of the buns I was looking for. He just didn't want to leave his conversation to go look in the beginning. I thanked him graciously for going to look and told him to finish his conversation now and I apologized for interrupting. Which I shouldn't have had to do. Since I was asking him to do his job to begin with.

Hardware store and a grocery store combo !!!! How can it get any better than that ! These guys met us at the front door asking if they could help us find anything.... walked me to the exact location and there it was. Bungee straps !! Exactly what I needed. Great job !!!

Information good but lacking on some products available at other ACE stores. Ok store for a small town. Only negative I have encountered is their inventory is not as complete as some other ACE stores. i.e. When inquired about canning supplies, answer received was: They do not carry items that are possibly in the Grocery Store (owned by same person) next door. Problem was, neither had the products. Was not the only time I received that answer regarding a product. Also, other non-grocery products are hard to find .. i.e. specific insecticide, etc. Positive note: I got some very informative information from an employee in the store regarding product comparisons when searching for drain openers and sluggish line problems.

The best service you can get, staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Hard to believe how many great brands they carry : Milwaukee, Dewalt, Carrhart, Stihl, Husquvarna and more ! Manager is always bringing in new and exciting products and they literally have just about everything under one roof. You may pay slightly more than the big box stores but its in stock on the shelf and you dont have to drive far to get it ! They even have camping supplies, bird feeders, plants, knives and more. ACE IS THE PLACE !!!

I don't shop here often but when I do, the prices are way higher than at other grocery stores. I'm not talking about Walnart prices, I'm talking about at other actual grocery stores. Also, the store wasn't very clean and one of the female employees needed a change of clothes because she smelt like cigarette smoke from 7 feet away. Yes, I counted the square tile on the floor with my grandson and told him we could smell here from 7 feet away and he asked how I knew she was 7 feet away and I showed him and counted with him.

Cashier Terry closed the register right in front of me. While I was on my phone, I was dealing with matters regarding a death in the family. My service cuts out the further into Greene county I go so I was taking advantage of what little service I had left. I had 1 item to check out, ONE!!! Luckily the customer service center was open and allowed me to check out there, guess who was there Terry. She said I tried to tell you I was closing, sorry Terry I was actually conducting business not some little teen talking the latest gossip. And when I got in your line the light was ON meaning your lane was OPEN. I explained that I was not happy about the situation and as I was leaving in a very smartaleck, condensing tone she said have a nice day. No apology for leaving me standing there, no I’m sorry for your loss, no forward thinking as in hey this customer has one item, this is NOT an extraordinary customer experience. You would have been fine if it wasn’t for your mouth, I was willing to let it go but you had to give me the verbal finger. Best of luck bagging groceries Terry, you’re living your best life aren’t you bless your little heart!

Rameys has great prices, friendly people, and located in a lovely little town!! I have to take a star or 2 away due to it being coupled with Ace Hardware...I have been to Ace a hundred times and I swear there has only been a handful of occasions that were good. The staff is usually not knowledgeable about things you are looking for. They have been rude to me when I say it's not the right item. They have "kids" working there at times that have no clue what they are looking for and stand around joking with there friends instead of helping you, even though you asked for help. A older employee made a very sexist joke about me buying paint, and it was uncomfortable to say the least!! Some people comment on how the employees follow them around, after they stated they didnt need help.. just creeping around like they were making sure you were not stealing😐. So Ace Hardware of Richton = 1⭐!! That's being nice.

The coffee is high. You can get the 48 ounce Folgers at Walmart for a dollar more. It about like the gas prices in that area. You put a couple dollars in just to get you through. I don’t know what demo rat runs those places but they need to be took out in the streets and beat.

Now that ACE sells Craftsman products it is easier and not as expensive as driving to Hattiesburg and back. They have been very helpful and generally knowledgeable. If they don't have what I'm looking for they are too happy to order it.

I went to ramey's to get bread and beef and the cashier lady was rude but now the other people were nice they kept asked me if I needed any help with anything because I was looking for this sauce and I couldn't find it but the cashier I went through she was just rude I don't know her name but maybe she was just having a bad day so I'm not going to call her out if she is having a bad day but she doesn't have to take it out on customers the remix is the best place to get food...
