This has to be the worst store in the world, the employees are rude and nothing is ever on the shelves....the products are still sitting in boxes in the aisles

This is a good Dollar general. Usually it's very clean and well organized and everything is in stock. Most of the employees are friendly. The only complaint I have about the store is the clearance aisle. A lot of times the items that are on the aisles are not actually clearanced items, but rather just leftovers or overflow from other areas of the store. That's my only complaint. They have great prices and great selection.

I used to work here, and though the store was bad the whole time I was there, it has gone completely downhill since I left. Aisles are bare and blocked off by rolltainers filled to the top with merchandise, and the restrooms are always filthy. Their employment model of two people on a shift is so terrible, they can hardly keep anybody employed for more than a year, even store managers. I was a keyholder and they constantly had me doing tasks outside of my job description while not wanting to pay me like a manager. They also think it's a great idea to have ONE person working alone during the busiest hour of the day. I quit five months ago, and the single, solitary thing I miss about it was the short drive from my house. I guess it's a fine choice for a quick road trip snack run, but please do not waste your good work ethic being employed here.

I was waiting in line along with another lady in front of me and the cashier was just standing there on her phone looking at us. I asked her if she was ready to help someone and she rolled her eyes at me and proceeded to fling her hand around i guess saying she was actually working today. This cashier is there most days when i go by the store and she ABSOLUTELY HATES her job. Horrible service.

The store is near and organized. Twice I've been there, and a young lady by the name of bailey was exceptionally attentive to my needs. I'm disabled and walk with a limp, she saw me coming towards the door and went inside and got me a buggy. The last time I went shopping there, she asked me several times if I had found everything I needed. After I checked out, she helped me put my things in the car. I was having trouble opening my front door and she helped me get the door open. She goes above and beyond her duties. She is very kind and friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you again miss bailey for your kindness to me.

The store had a banner proclaiming a "remodeling for [our] convenience." The place was a mess. Carts in the parking lot, stuff on the floor, racks of merchandise in the aisles. The one person I saw there, was friendly and professional. I was depressed by what I found. Which wasn't what I was shopping for. Didn't find that!!

It is a Dollar General. Stock boxes in the aisle.. Empty shelves... product on the shelves dishelved. Dollar General is not in the business of hiring enough staff to keep the store neat and stocked and good cashiers upfront....DG gets as much work out of 1 employee as they can..... They have stores every few miles all with 2 or 3 employees. Great for the economy, huh?

Very refreshing to be in a Dollar General where people didn't follow me around the minute I walked in the door. This place is very friendly, the staff was very knowledgeable and made me feel like I did not upset their day by coming in to buy something unlike the Dollar general's in Jackson Mississippi. It could be this was in Richland I will give them that

Purchased Crest 3D because of a advertised digital coupons. I downloaded the coupon but did not get credit for it at checkout. Additionally, I scored a $5 off next purchase coupon for buying $15 in Proctor&Gamble products. Prior to the transaction, I checked and double-checked to know if there were spending requirements to use the $5 coupon and found none. When I got the receipt there was a $5 off $25 printed in the middle of the receipt (which I noticed immediately) and a $5 off $5.01 coupon printed at the bottom of the receipt (which I did not see). I asked the cashier if the $5 off $25 coupon was the coupon I earned for making the P&G purchases. I was concerned about the unadvertised purchase requirement which I explained to the cashier. She bluntly replied, "I ain't got nothing to do with that!" I explained to her that she should not be giving a customer a response like that. At that moment I found the corect coupon at the bottom of the receipt.There have been multiple times when I have had issues with advertised discounts and coupons at DG but have received very little assistance from the cashiers. Either there is a training issue or a lack of compassion...either way, the problem should be addressed.

The store is clean but did have a good bit of boxed inventory out on the floor, blocking one or two isles. The staff were helpful.

It's a very nice place the people that works there or really friendly and they also try their best to help you find what you need and if it's not out in front they will look in the back to see if they have it if you have no one to help you carry it to the car and you need help they will help you bring it to your car that I go to the one in Richland on 49 South and Mississippi I shop there more than anywhere else

Older woman at the register failed to give me correct change back, within 3 minutes of me realizing after I walked out, I go back in to tell her exactly what happened and she assumes I am lying and proceeds to tell me there’s nothing she can do. So happy birthday woman who stole my change.

Hi, my name is Britani, today I went to dollar general to purchase 2 treseme shampoo. There was a store coupon for $2 off and I had a manufacturer paper coupon for buy one get one free. The cashier wouldn't even scan my coupon he simply said if I have a digital coupon it's not going to take my paper coupon. I know this is not the coupon policy so I am hoping for some help in this situation. I love shopping at dollar genreal but for the past few weeks I have dreaded using my paper coupons their. This is the richland dollar general.

Everytime I go in here, no matter what time of day it is, it's a jumble of unorganized mess that you have to navigate like a maze! Most isles are so hard to go down you end up leaving without some of the things you came for. It's ridiculous. I will not be coming back.
