Such a STUNNING venue! Loved getting to celebrate my aunt's wedding with family from near and far. The staff were amazing and so helpful. They made the event run smoothly! I loved the historic charm. What a magical night.

As a caterer working with a venue you expect a certain air of professionalism. The workers were all rude, and they activly took food from the wedding party (not agreed on). And on top of all of this they kept drinks caned cokes/bottled water in the bathroom as extra storage. Overall the venue is beautiful but please consider these things before booking your bar with themEdit after discussion with the staff I will raise my review to a 3 star.

The venue is on the smaller side, but perfect for a group of 75-100.We had a great time celebrating the Blankenship wedding on 09/17/2022!My one recommendation for the Venue itself is to plant more trees behind the arbor. You can see the cars driving by during the wedding.

We were so excited to get married here! We booked over a year in advanced for our date. However when the day came, there were a few issues that we felt should not have occurred. During our photos around lunch time, one of the Raymond Venue employees removed one of the groomsmen’s belongings out of the Bird Dog without his consent. I myself saw her walking across the driveway with his belongings in her hands. Our ceremony didn’t start for another 5 hours. We were also told the day of our wedding that no one was allowed back in the Bird Dog after the ceremony which forced the groomsmen to change their clothes with the bridesmaids in the bridal suite. I felt like this was unnecessary and inappropriate. Immediately prior to our ceremony start time, a member of staff informed my party that everything must be removed from the Bird Dog, so my groomsmen and ushers were frantically carrying their belongings to the bridal suite. Again we were under the impression that the groomsmen would be allowed back in the bird dog following the ceremony for a brief period of time to gather their stuff and change. Due to the chaos of this, two pairs of sunglasses were left in the Bird Dog. Management was thankfully able to find the ladies pair of sunglasses but my husbands pair was never found even though both pairs were sitting together on one of the tables inside. We are disappointed that these weren’t found considering they were worth about $300. Management thankfully has called and discussed these issues with us, however we are still disappointed with how we were treated by the staff about the issues above and want others to be aware. We felt like even with the apologies and new staff, these issues should not have occurred. I would also like to note that during the reception management turned the lights on inside around 9:30. Our contract stated we could have music until 10:30pm, but when the lights came on we felt like the staff was pushing to get us out of there sooner. Luckily all of my other vendors were great and we had no other problems, but we were disappointed in some of the things that occurred with the venue and want others to be aware.

I went to a gala hosted by the Clinton Junior Civic League at The Raymond. Most of my experience was related to the gala as the Raymond itself seemed to just be the space rented. The gala itself was fun. The food was on point, but I didn’t get the name of the caterer.

We had a beautiful wedding in this lovely and unique venue. The staff was helpful, polite and very accommodating, although possibly a bit too much foot traffic through the Bird Dog during the day. Otherwise, absolutely perfect. Would definitely recommend to anyone who asks.

The Raymond Venue is spectacular! From a small event or a large wedding it’s perfect for all your needs. It has so many extras like The Yellow Feather, the amazing bridal suite, and The Bird Dog! The staff is amazing & wants to meet all your needs!

Fantastic little venue, that can also handle a big crowd. Really enjoyed the wedding and reception we went to their this past weekend. Definitely one of the best venues of the many we've visited over the last several years! Would highly recommend!!!

I had the good fortune of being the groom at The Raymond Venue's very first wedding. Now, my wife wants to get remarried to we can experience it again. It exceeded every expectation I had from budget, to customer service, to charm. We were treated like family and the owners made themselves readily available at the drop of a hat. I dare say that if you're fortunate enough to be wedded at The Raymond Venue, you won't regret it!

Words can’t describe. It’s BEAUTIFUL! There is not other place like it!! I wish this venue was open a year ago when I got married. Everything is SO WELL thought out!! It’s like everything you could want in a wedding venue or any venue at that!!! And it’s affordable too. Check out The Birddog when you’re there. Plus the manager and owner has the best customer service. Kim is so easy to get in touch with and is so kind, nice, and helpful!

It was really nice and well put together. However if you want to have a very private wedding this is not the place you will hear cars as it is near several semi busy roads. But if you do not care it is a wonderful place.
