Been the go to page in Quitman for a long time. Recently There has been several restaurants open locally and yet the BEST LUNCH comes from Southern Market Deli!and the Deli also gets 5 *****STAR!

We were in and out quick since we only needed a few items. The store was clean and well stocked from what I noticed while gathering what we needed in a short amount of time. The floors were clean and not dirty, which to me, is always a plus. The cashier upon checking out was very friendly and courteous. Good first experience!

Great choices for a small town grocery store. Nice staff and clean store. Definitely a plus when you need to pick up some items or if you have to do some serious shopping!

Friendly and helpful staff. They don't stock some items I use which makes me have to travel to Meridian and shop at a big retailer I really don't care for . I would much rather support local businesses and not corporations!Southern Market is a great local grocery store that appreciates it's customers.

I had forgotten what a neighborhood grocery store was like. This was a great experience. When we got ready to check out, there was a line of people also waiting. But the best thing happened. I presume it was the manager, he brought another cashier and opened up another lane and pitched in. Got out in no time. Thanks for the great service.

Seeing that this is the only grocery store in Quitman. We went in it was very nice everything was stocked the vegetables and everything looked really good You could definitely tell we were in the country everything was big and juicy😊

it has better prices. Their Best Choise brand is pretty good quality. Nice cashiers. The variety is improving, but you need to really check expiration dates. I have bought several items that were expired.

Went Thursday evening to get a few items . While there I was going to get the paper to see what rewards club items were available. So , I go to checkout & the cashier whose name I saw on ticket later . Her name was Katie & without asking me takes 500 points for a loaf of bread. I was highly upset.I understand they trying to save money by hiring high school kids . Have no problem with it if they would hire competent ones. They always not available to bag groceries Bc they goofing off wherever. A lot of them are rude but also some of the older cashiers are too. Just not a friendly environment. Management usually in the office. And other than Rusty & Lance & Brad & another guy you can never get anyone to help you! But, I go back bc other place sky high on prices!

Good market to buy at. Prices are very reasonable and the people have that down home sweetness. We go here every time we camp out at Archusa water park or Clarkco state park near Quitman, MS.
