I ordered on the app. A small cake batter shake and a medium honey bbq popcorn chicken. The total was $9. We waited for a while, but not too long, and my order was brought out but they forgot the shake. So i had my chicken but not my shake. (The chicken was also dumped upside down into the bag so bbq chicken pieces were falling out into the bag). The server, Roman, goes back to get my shake and brings it out. I immediately thought it looked odd because there was no whipped cream or cherry and there were also black specks all in the shake (I've had the cake batter shake multiple times before). I smelled it and it smelled odd, kind of like peanut butter. I had my boyfriend smell it too and he said it definitely smelled like peanut butter. (I didn't taste it because i have a peanut allergy). I assume they made this shake for someone else who wanted some kind peanut butter bits added into it and we got theirs. We call the server back to tell him it was the wrong shake and I'm not mad at this point because they are a little busy from high school graduation. We wait for a while (at least 15 minutes) before Roman sees us and says "oh you guys haven't gotten your shake yet?" He walks back inside and comes out not even a minute later to give us a shake that isn't even full. We've been there for about an hour at this point so i say let's just go home because it's been so long. The chicken was put into one of their hotdog trays and didn't even fill up half the tray (I've gotten the medium honey bbq popcorn chicken before and it came with at least twice the amount of chicken). The chicken was obviously cold by the time we were home so i dumped it on a plate to microwave it. Once i dumped it out, i saw that all i got was the tiny crunchy bits that don't even have chicken in them. And on top of that, i started eating my shake with a spoon and the shake wasn't even blended all the way. It was vanilla ice cream with swirls of the yellow cake batter that was supposed to be blended throughout. My entire $9 meal consisted of tiny crunchy chicken batter bits and a 3/4 full shake that wasn't even blended. Definitely upset now since i spent $9 on a meal that i couldn't even finish eating because there was no chicken in the tiny crunchy bits.

First and last time lol I ordered a toaster and get microwaved bread with a whole stick of butter melted on it. Bacon grease just pouring out of it. I specifically asked for a straw and she said the straw is in the bag. Get down the road and guess what, no straw. And I tipped this girl $2 to walk this out to me. At least the tots were good but considering I pretty much paid $10 for them they better be.

Service was great! Wish remembered young ladies name. I'm not going into why I'm dissatisfied. I just like my food to be at least warm when I get it, my tots/fries not upside and dumped in my bag all over other food. At least if it was hot I could have understood that😳🤦 But anyway, gave these guys another chance.Update: food was hot and not all dumped in bag. I won't order steak sandwich again it wasn't for me. 😂 Root Beer was not very good, tasted like had to much syrup or flat. But today's crew did better than last.Parking: Can eat at stalls you order food at or has picnic tables

Waited 15 minutes for the only public restroom which was occupied by a sonic employee. Once I got access I found the place filthy. Trash and water on the floor and the toilet seat not bolted down and falling off. This employee has a car full of his friends parked just outside the bathroom door where he spent considerable time b s ing with them.Not local but I have never had that kind of bad byexperience at Sonic anywhere.

Sat there for 45 mins presses the red button 3 times because it kept getting deactivated, still never even made it to placing my order. It looked as if there was only one person doing any work, and he looked worn out. The last time I had sonic in Hattiesburg my order was completely wrong. That was my last trip to sonic. Hope this is helpful for someone.

Honestly the food is normally as good as you can get at sonic. Services is horrible. If you are in a hurry DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT think this will be a quick stop. Probably the slowest sonic in all of world. Workers will stand around and talk to their friends while you sit in your car waiting on your food. Food good!! Service HORRIBLE!!!!!Edit*** I made this review while waiting on my food it took so long that the shakes came out as milk. I did call and made a complaint to sonic corporate. This sonic is going down quick service is pathetic.

Genuinely disappointed with my experience at this SONIC. Half of the ordering stalls were either offline or the speaker wasn't functional. We ordered on the SONIC app, all was going well so far. The food was received and the food was upside down in the bag and scattered all throughout. The shake (classic yellow cake batter) was completely wrong and smelled strongly of peanut butter. The individual that was going to eat the shake has a severe peanut allergy, so we sent it back. I understand waiting because they were extremely busy due to high school graduation. The person that was going to replace our shake, Roman, then proceeded to walk outside when it was very busy and lean into his friends car and talk with him for 15 minutes. He then proceeds to walk back inside and vape. He then comes outside with another order, looks at us, and says 'oh, I'm sorry, are yall still waiting on your shake? Lemme get that for you, it's coming right out.' Fast forward literally 30 seconds and we receive a shake that is poorly blended and is generously ¾ full. By the time we got the shake, the burnt crispy chicken that was scattered all in the bag was cold. We were there for over an hour. It's unfortunate because previous experiences here were nice, but this is unacceptable.

I love that even while visiting family out of state, we can find our favorites at their local Sonic. We have been their several times during our visit. I would love to give them 5 stars because they have been great, but today our soft drinks were weak and almost tasteless and the corndog my husband had seemed to have been cooked to long. We will still try them again while here.Upgraded my review to 5 stars! As promised we tried them again. Today the food and drinks were great! Good job and thanks for responding to my 1st review.

Service was faster, delivered product was faster, food was made correctly, but next time will ask for more BBQ sauce on hamburger.Parking: You have to park this is where you order your food and drinks is from your vehicle. Food is brought to your vehicle. And please don't forget to tip the ladies or gents who bring you your food. Salaries r low they depend on tips.

The app is convenient, but it takes forever to get my order. More than three times I’ve ordered on the app and signed in and they said it was on it’s way, but I had to press the button and tell them I was still waiting. They really need a better system.

Horrible. I've ordered once where it took 2 hours for one burger. Waited four months. Came back; I ate out there twice more. Two times in a row the food was burnt and not what I ordered. I got a butterfinger shake that damaged my dentures when I ordered PEANUT BUTTER, and then a vanilla shake instead of a caramel shake, and the burger my friend got was reheated so often that it tasted like leather. I will *never* return to this city's sonic, and if I could give a negative star review, I would.

We stopped in on a road trip and had a great experience. They misheard our order and didn't hesitate to get it fixed. The food was fresh and the ice cream was done well. Sonic is always hit or miss for me but this one was a hit.

Worst Sonic I have ever been! Waited 15 minutes for out food. Car hop said that it took so long because they were making it fresh. Fries were so cold I sent them back, only to be delivered the same fries, in the same bag, that were just reheated in the fryer. That is plain disgusting and unsanitary. The sad fact is I worked at Sonic for 4 years as a manager and this is not corporate policy* I have made the complaint with a picture of the receipt on the website to make sure it gets sent to the owner.

The employees are nice at this location I enjoyed eating here. The summertime chicken blt is to die for. It's my new favorite and I hope it's here to stay. The visit was quick. They got my order right which is unusual for my visits at any Sonic. I would give 5 stars but it's so expensive. If it was cheaper I'd eat here more often.

Extremely slow service. I waited 20-30 minutes only for two drinks and didnt even give me straws. Everything else is good enough, but don't go here if you think it will be a quick stop. It won't.

using the app saves a lot of time. not much waiting time when they know your a tipper. but come one these car hops make what like min. wage. so go ahead hand them a dollar and you too will get that extra fast treatment.

I support all local businesses. Usually Sonic is good but I haven't had much luck at this one and some of the kids that bring out the food ( might be because some of you people don't tip these kids) are not looking to happy to be there. I was going to emphasize on each visit and decided not to,it's not worth it and I am not that petty. It might just be a hit and miss.

The tater tots were a bit undercooked... The service was pretty slow (from taking my order to bringing it out) they did have a place for taller vehicles, which was nice. The server was friendly and the burger was decent. Not the worst place I've ever been, but some room for improvement.

I was told that there was a 20 minute wait.After watching an employee bring bags to her friend that hadn't even ordered from the kiosk,I realized 20 minutes had turned to 40 minutes and left.Don't waist your time,cook your own tots.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I attempted to order food, but I was told that they had closed the grill. That's supposed to be done 10 minutes before close, (which was at 11 according to Google, however they closed at 10) but it was only 9:42pm. I ordered a beverage that was supposed to be half off, and I was told the sale had ended. That would be fine, but the sale was still displayed all over the facility. When I explained to the car hop that I should still receive the discount given that they haven't taken down the signs, because that is false advertisement, she didn't respond. I paid my tab and left.

Waited over one hour to get food when food was finally delivered if was not the right order. Order was sent back and when I received the right order the tator tots were cold. There were no condiments were in the bag. The should have been sauce for my breakfast burrito and ketchup for the tator tots. Needless to say I will not waste my money at the Sonic of Purvis ever again!

Huge wait for food. Sat there for almost 15min after ordering. Food was good but I think the staff need to think a little more ahead. I got a burger that had BBQ and onion rings on it and asked to get it without the onion rings. They did that but the burger came with onions on it(didn't say on the board that it had onions). Just thought that it might have been common sense that if someone says no to Onion rings on it they might not want onions period.
