The staff has been changing, the store is upgrading and it's a lot better. Way to go. Actually don't mind spending my money here and there are smiling faces even though they have dealt with some of you that make people understand what 25 to life is about 😂. Remember our attitudes are contagious!!

The only items I would suggest buying would be the meat.. everything thing else is 3-4 times more than any other grocery stores in Hattiesburg..Aldi just opened in Hattiesburg and puts Ramey's prices to shame..and also his new gas pumps have bad gas so don't use them..I filled up and only got 160 miles out of a tank and when I go to EXXON I get well over 320 miles a tank..so he is putting at least 50-70% and only maybe 30% actually gas in his tanks..so in other words just go to Hattiesburg or Columbia..your better off..

Great small town grocery store.(Actually better than most) The folks here are very nice, willing to help you locate needed items. They have a deli, rotisserie chicken and ribs were pretty darn good too. The meat selection was on par with other well known grocery chains. Also noticed this time around that they were building an onsight gas station and I believe a liquor store.

This store is Very Well Stocked and Managed. There's very few empty spaces on this Purvis Mississippi Location's shelves, and Very Rarely will you Not find their 2 Day sale Item's on the shelves or the Fresh/Frozen cases on a Saturday. The staff is always helpful, and the checkout lines move fast. Parking is Great for a Ramey's location.

Ramey's is apparently the red-headed stepchild of Corner Market from what I've heard and gleaned from others in my locale.The meat (beef/pork/...lamb sometimes) is WAY better quality than the Corner Markey equivalent.You can definitely get more specialty "gourmet" items at Corner Market, but you will pay an insane premium for them. There's a 50 to 75 cent markup on regular items. And just FYI, check the Best Buy Dates on your items.Corner Market will knowingly leave stuff on the shelves at full price that has already gone past those dates.And charge you full price.Just spend the extra dollar or two in gas to get fresh items in Purvis that will let you down in Oak Grove.Also, their deli is pretty baller. Hit your call button on your steering wheel and say "Ramey's marketplace number 7", and press 1. That'll give you the menu for the day. Get out there by noon, and you'll have fresh yummies.

Our Ramey's is the best small town, downhome grocery store. They're steadily expanding to meet customers' needs. When there's a sale, they're always well stocked & the food is just always so fresh!!

Growing and making food shopping experience pleasant. It s Cafeteria offers from southern food , to sushi and salad bar. Soon it will be a one stop shopping with its gas station. Purvis is a hidden gem.

My first time ever going to a Ramey's. They had my hard to find brand of bone-in ham so I'm thrilled!! Produce looked fresh and large meat selection as well as prepared in store sushi! Will visit again!

Updated review.. We wanted a cake for my son/daughter n law’s double bday party (week apart) and Ms Marie and the rest of the Ramey’s crew did not disappoint! Was better than we expected. We wanted half buttercreme n pink fir her and half koolwhip n brown icing for him, for their cowboy/cowgirl themed party! Turned out great! Thank You

The store is just horrible if you're looking for good produce or vegan products. It almost seems like they went out of their way to not carry certain products. It may be convenient but you can find better vegan products that several gas stations and Walmart and corner market both have better prices for similar things and carry a wide array of vegan and organic products

We shop at Ramey's because it is the closet grocery store to us. The next closet is about 20 minutes from us. Ramey's is a small locally owned grocery store that has a decent selection and variety of products for a small grocery store. If we don't see a brand or item we are looking for and it is not something they usually carry, most times when we speak to a manager, they will order it for us. By the next week or the week after the item is stocked on the shelves. The customer service is always nice, unless it is close to closing time for the deli and seafood departments, they close earlier than the store itself. I have only ever had bad customer service from those two departments. My only consistent and real complaints are about the quality of their produce. We consistently find poor quality fruits and vegetables. Every time we shop there we find at least several different fruits and vegetables that are so bad they have begun to grow mold. When we do find good quality produce to buy, we have to eat it or cook with it at least within 2 days or all of it will start to go bad. Again that is our only consistent complaints.

My husband and I were both impressed. Best stocked market we have seen in awhile. Lovely produce section. Really good steaks in the meat section. Clean and friendly. Shelves were actually full, neat, and being restocked on both a Monday and Wednesday when we stopped in for forgotten items while camping at Little Black Creek Campground.

Sushi isn't good, the salad dressing was sour when I got salads. I usually try and eat something ready to go, I've tried several times in purvis and was disappointed.
