The manager who was a lady was very rude said she couldn’t break my $100 when I spend $40 so that would only be $60 in change. She eventually did and she gave me quarters and $5 and pushed them towards me.I said it did not look like the right amount she said it was I asked her if she could count it and she snatched it up in anger and than counted it and as I was leaving a costumer yelled I couldn’t count and I said no it’s her job to count back my change when I think it is wrong the manger yelled at me to get out and said twice to me never to return to the store as if it was her store to say that for. I have no idea how these people get hired and receive ownership to a store…. Like the comments say below the guys are super helpful at this store and the lady’s there are very rude this has happened to me twice where they refused me for using a $100. This place won’t stand a chance if they keep them around. Also I disrupted her smoke break to be checked out probably why she took it out on me.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience here. We witnessed an employee named Blake be very rude, and very condescending to a woman in line ahead of us. The lady had been exceedingly nice to him. He talked down to her then, when she walked away with a very pleasant "thank you! You have a nice day!", he just rolled his eyes and shook his head. When I told him he had been rude, he got angry and stormed away. The manager witnessed it, heard my complaint, and did absolutely nothing about it. I told her I was calling corporate and she said "yes, you should ".

The staff there are always kind and so helpful! I LOVE how they show you where everything is! Always been kind to my son! My son has autism and the staff always treat him well!

I love the family dollar cause they have everything I need for reasonable prices. Only con is they wouldn't give me a refund with receipt for a heater I bought that quit working. They would only allow an exchange of the exact heater that wasn't in stock and wouldn't give me credit towards any other heater even though I offered to pay the difference.

I asked the manager "teresa"if they had a microwave and said you would think they would with all the microwavable food.Teresa replied in a very tone and manner "they were not required to have microwaves".When I went to checkout I told the other lady and she blew up and refused to check me out.Then Teresa told me I had to leave... this when I blew up on them..Teresa and the other lady are very rude and unprofessional..!

Really depend on which crew is working. The women and there is one man who are very helpful and nice but the other man acts like your a burden to be in the store. Made me feel extremely unwelcome and wouldn't help me. So it just depends who is in the day you go.

This place always has friendly cashier's and are pretty easy to strike a conversation with. Wish they could keep Rockstars stocked but that's just me being picky. They've been needing some maintenance done on their broken reach in coolers for a little while now and it could really use a good detailing because those type of things are easily noticed by myself. Overall it's what you'd expect and nothing more.
