Lowe's in Petal, MS. We went in to get mostly paint supplies. Sarah in the paint department was very welcoming, professional, and super friendly. She was extremely knowledgeable & answered all of our questions. Eventhough we took up alot of her time, she was patient & extremely helpful & made our experience a very pleasant one. Great customer service!

Just left and we had an amazing experience! Drove from Hattiesburg due to Lowe’s being out of stock of the product we needed. The employees at the petal location are much nicer and a lot more helpful. When shopping with Lowe’s we will for sure use this location instead of Hattiesburg!

One of the best Lowes I have ever been to. Friendly helpful employees. If they don't have in stock something I want I will drive to Gulfport ( one of the best Lowes and helpful employees) and I live in Hattiesburg ( one of the worst stores and rude employees)

The store manager (Jim walker) at the Petal, ms branch was extremely rude and disrespectful. I've never had a terrible in-store experience like this I can't believe they hire people who treat customers like he did me. I've ran a company of my own for 5 years and would never treat a customer like he did. After aggressively demanding that I move my truck I complied but before I could do so he walks up to my truck threatening me. I calmly moved my truck to the back of the line of the loading dock(which immediately filled with other trucks) taking a deep breath and still needing lumber I walked back inside and asked if someone could help load my truck with the lumber, I also asked to speak with the manager (Jim walker) who was rude.thinking maybe he had calmed down. I told him I have been coming to this store for 5 years spending large amounts of money and I didn't appreciate being talk to that way. He was completely unapologetic and unprofessional. This is beyond disappointing.

Went to Lowe’s in Petal for a new refrigerator. The employees were dressed the worst I have ever seen in a place of business. My salesman had on a pair of shorts that was too short & there was a female working in the same area wearing pajama pants. Ridiculous! Lowe’s do better with your dress code. Managers dropped the ball yesterday. Will be hard to spend money on a big ticket item there. I know I wasn’t going to a fashion show but there should have been some rules for employee attire.

It's a rare day at Lowes when I cannot find what I am looking for what I need. Good quality merchandise. And my favorite, employees are visible! And even if it isn't their department, they help!! And! Delivery is always when they tell you they will be there! Hot dog!

I called to reach the head of the department that sell window air conditioners because I purchased and had delivered a unit that I had installed less than 48 hours later and it is not cooling. I wanted to find out if there was a certain amount of time I should give the unit to start cooling. Customer service (what a joke) you would have thought I asked for nuclear launch codes. They didn’t know who the head of the department was so obviously that meant he was not there. They had three people working so I asked if they could all be head of that department and she said maybe so. What are the qualifications requirements to work there I wonder. My experience today tells me I will be at Home Depot next time I still have not discovered how long it should take the unit to start cooling properly but I did find out it is now the manufacturers and my problem. Way too go Lowe’s you have endeared me to you forever. HaHa

I'm at this store practically on a daily basis, and while the number of staff seems to have noticeable been trimmed, I still get a "Can I help you find what you're looking for?" at least two times a visit. Maybe I have a resting "I'm lost" face? At any rate, this store has saved me a trip further south to Hattiesburg 95% of the time I need something for property maintenance.

My husband and I are here every weekend and sometimes a couple of times during the week, the best place for any home improvement supplies. Very friendly down-home staff and store manager. We always find what we need and so much more.

Today was an absolutely horrible experience. My husband and I had to bring some supplies back and try and get some more. He had a whole load of 2 x 4s that needed to be unloaded. He asked Zack who was on the forklift if we could possibly get some help. He said yes and that he would be right back. We waited, waited, and waited some more. My husband finally walked around to look for this guy or anyone for that matter, and no one would even look our way. This was an awful feeling. I have bought so many items from this store and even got a credit card through them. We had to eventually unload the stuff ourselves, take it in and load everything as well. I used to have so much respect for Lowes. I loved the Lowes we used to go to in the Chicago land area. I was under the impression in the south people were extremely nice and showed that "southern hospitality". I guess that is every where except Lowes of Petal. The one in Hattiesburg on 98 was pretty decent the last time I went. I spent a thousand dollars in this store today and was treated like my family wasn't important. I will not be coming back and I plan to take my business elsewhere. Thanks... But no thanks... Although lumber prices are still incredibly high it's a great place to shop. Employees are all knowledgeable enough and help you with what you need. I do wish they carried a larger variety of wood types for hobbiest but I'm still a frequent customer.

The ONLY Lowes that I have delivered to where… they answer the phone in receiving….. all the employees are friendly…. They answered my questions A N D. Brian. Helped me unload fold my tarps role my straps and un bungee everything!!!!!’What???? That is awesome. These guys are awesome!

This store has been sleep walking as management are responsible for the delay, unaware manner in staffing failure in knowledge in customer service. This has been going on for years now and it's getting worse. Online sales continue to close stores across the country, I do wonder if they are seeing the big picture. Nothing has changed in this store from the initial post. It's the larger of Hardware chains in the area and until someone comes along with a better (Class) of customer service it will continue to drag their feet towards improvement in customer service and support.

Lowes is a very Veteran friendly company. They have reserved parking and discounts for Veterans. They have a great selection and can be a one stop shop because Lowe's carries a wide variety. I highly recommend shopping here

Petal Lowes is always well stocked. The employees are very knowledgeable in the departments they work in and can answer most every question you may have. If they don't know the answer they will find it. The prices are actually pretty low. The staff are very helpful and they will help you get what you need.

Everything you would expect from a Lowe's. Everyone I have ever dealt with there is always pleasant and helpful. Recently had to purchase a washer and dryer and the representative for appliances was overrun, we had to wait about an hour to make our purchase, but he stayed in contact with us the entire time, apologized for our wait and gave us a good discount for our wait!! Can't ask for much more from a "big box" store.

Every area that I have visited have the desirable home improvement stores and those that fall short. The main competitors are often Lowes and Home Depot and in all honesty I have had the tendency to favor Home Depot but that has changed. This Lowes has proven to me that they are the better store. I feel the staff shows that they are proud of the store, it is better stocked and organized, cleaner and everyone has been helpful and friendly.
