Service is always good, though they never seem to have enough cashiers. The inventory could be better as could the prices, since many items are much higher than their competition's. I guess they have become the convenience stores of the future and their pricing goes along with that concept as opposed to their name "DOLLAR GENERAL STORE".

It seems that almost every Dollar General you go into, each location has different items offered.. even though, I thoroughly enjoy shopping at all of them! The prices are very affordable, and it's also a nice place to bring children! This is my go-to store when I'm not in the mood to tackle Walmart! Employees friendly. Stock is usually in buggy at end of each isles instead of shelf. Out of certain product lot of time.

Friendly staff, always helpful. All of our local Dollar General stores (4) have the coldest drinks in town from their coolers! Typical of most stores they ae sometimes very busy & sometimes not. Every one I've been to here AND elsewhere always seem understaffed. This is my preferred location to use.

Carries inventory similar to most convenience stores but items are bargain priced instead of the typical up charged price that convenience stores are known for. Many items are under $5, but most are $1 or less.*Although priced like one, this is not a damaged goods store. Additional benefits are that the locations and quick shopping for must-have products, as well as items that aren't stocked at local gas station type convenience stores are abundant.

Pretty much a gas station convenience store but leveled up. Honestly, why are you even looking at the reviews? Let's be honest, you've been to a dollar general. They're all on the seedy spectrum somewhere. You know what to expect. Stop wasting time reading this.

This was a pretty well stocked Dollar general it was a little crowded in there with people of course it was around 5:00 when everyone got off work normally the Dollar general I go to is unorganized not well stocked and there's hardly anyone ever at the counters to bring us up when we get there and one automated register is not enough for a line of like seven people this one was much better. 👍

The cashiers are nice, but the place is always so cluttered. This is a fairly new store so it's kind of hard to excuse it. Other than that, it's a Dollar General. It doesn't do much.

What a mess! Half of the shelves were empty, and the rest looked like a bomb had gone off. The aisles were blocked with carts of items needing to be stocked. I will not be back to that store.

This store has the worse employee with the worst customer service I’ve ever seen before. Straight garbage. He should never work with the public again. Everyone else in this store is pleasant to work with but this guy isn’t.

Hate going to any Dollar General. They do have what you're looking for but no matter whether they have 1 or 50 customers waiting they ARE NOT going to open that second register. They don't seem to care about customer service in any shape, form or fashion. Very aggravating trying to do business with them.

Love this place!! But have boxes in the aisle. Its hard to get what you need when you can't get it. I understand you have to restock. But restock and get the boxes out of the way.

They never ever have their shelves stocked ... there are always bins in the isles... if you can't get the stock out, maybe you should have more than just one person working at a time 😐

On main street in petal, the manager was nice to look in the back of store and found what I needed. I was really thankful! This is sunday about 3:45pm.

The worker name Sandy that works in petal ms on main st she goes above and beyond to take care of her customers she is an asset to your business she is a WOW employee you dont find or see very many employees like her she is a KEEPER!!!!!
