Soon as I walked in the door a young man asked me if I needed help finding something. I told him that I was looking for screws the my toilet seat, toilet flapper, light bulbs and a air filter. He helped me get everything in less then 5 minutes. Thanks you Ace Hardware for the amazing workers.

I definitely felt it's my duty to express the poor treatment in manners of the younger staff as they address you in ill response to you out from being a person of color. so degrading as it's like you offended their fresh air for coming into the store. for the most part, the store is always in less capacity of stock items compared to a community with 4 hardware chains in a 7 mile radius. absolutely!! my shoes want be walking inside their doors anytime soon.

I love the selection of wind chimes they had, but they did seem like they had been sitting on the shelf for quite some time. I think they should put some of the older ones on sale, so they can restock their shelves with more updated models. Obviously, over time, the strings deteriorate. However, they were giving away free pansies, some broccoli, and some cauliflower plants, which my father was interested in. Overall, the store seemed quite inviting, and I will definitely return here. I do recommend this store for gardening and farming needs, especially if you live in the city of Petal. 🌿🍂🍃😊

I always recieve the best service here. These guys truly make the place feel like your hometown hardware store. I've gotten some grilling products, axes, used tools and other various things and I always recieve outstanding customer service. I'll continue to shop with them over other companies like home Depot or Lowe's. Our Ace is locally owned and operated and it's a more comfortable atmosphere than the big stores.

I have shopped here for years and was always satisfied with their products and service. I went today to curbside pick up and order I made online. The phone number I was to call went straight to voice mail, so I put on a mask and walked to the door. Not one single employee, much less customers, had on a mask. Obviously, they are not concerned with their customers health during this pandemic.

I went there and got paint the young man who waited on me was very helpful very kind understanding and patient. I was having a hard time choosing between four different colors due to being partially color blind. The young man waiting on me helped me choose which two looked best together. While he mixed the paint I continued shopping. He brought the paint to me and even helped me with finding a refrigerator light. I definitely recommend this ace hardware store.

They're well stocked with the odds and ends that you wouldn't be able to get elsewhere. I needed an oversized mailbox and a guy ran one right to me. It was half the price of Walmarts. They're very friendly folks at Ace.

The Petal Ace Hardware has a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They also have a really diversified inventory. One of the big plusses to shopping Ace over the larger stores is the combination of their staff & inventory, because you can go in, get immediate help, go get exactly what you came for & be gone again, faster than you could get to the right aisle in a big box store. The only negative aspect is that Ace"s prices are much higher than those box stores, so you know that that convenience & service cost you a premium.
