This store was my great-grandfather's! Had the same name for as long as I can remember, and I am fixing to be 60 yrs old. Someone came in 9 months ago and changed the name! Definitely not the same anymore!

Folks are nice and drinks are cold. I ordered the catfish plate for 10.95. The only thing homemade was the fish. The potatoe salad was from a container and so were the baked beans. For that price the potatoe salad and baked beans should have been homemade. The hushpuppies were corn ones and frozen not made from scratch. Like I said the folks are nice and the environment is friendly, just wish more of the food was made from scratch

(I’m on my husbands profile)Growing up I spent every summer with my Grandparents who lives about a 2 minute drive from Big Level Grocery. One of my favorite parts of visiting has always been going to get a sandwich here, I don’t know if it’s the love they put into them or what, but they are the best dang sandwiches I’ve ever had! Usually my grandparents would only get the sandwiches whenever we were taking the boat out to the reservoir or going fishing, but anytime I got to pick what we’re eating I’d always choose a Big Level sandwich! We’d also stop by here to get bait for fishing. Family owned, and everyone there is so incredibly kind! If you’re within driving distance, you should definitely give them a try!Heck, there’s been times I’ve craved one so bad, I’ve considered driving down from Arizona to get one, haha.

Nice Mom and Pop store. I only gave 4 stars because I only stopped in to buy a drink, but the owner and I chatted briefly. They have breakfast, lunch, and not sure about dinner. Fresh hamburgers and homemade sandwiches. Weekday hours and Saturday i believe are 6am to 7pm. Sunday noon to 5 or 6pm.

There's only one Big Level grocery store in the world and I'm blessed living within 15 miles of it . Super fine folks that own and manage it and the absolute best cheeseburgers on the planet. Home and boardroom of the Sons of Dementia motorcycle club Big Level chapter .
