First off I want you to say we had four different families that traveled 3 1/2 hours to go here and we stayed 3 nights. We will not come back to this location again. So it’s safe to say a lot of money was spent between the families that wont be coming back. First off there are fee charges for everything! The cabins prices are outrageous. You could stay at a 4 star hotel for less a night with way better service. The pictures below are from the yogi deluxe on the water cabin. $330 a night to stay on a falling down cabin with most of the lights not working broken glass and super dirty with mold and nails sticking up is ridiculous. Expect to pay $7-9 a day per person (even if they do not participate) for activities on top of cabin rental then there are activities that you have to pay extra for. At least half activities are required to pay even more to be able to participate. Half of the splash pad doesn’t work equipment is loose and no operational. So many things are in need of repair. Then golf cart are extra 80$ a day for the cheapest ones then if you want one level up it’s $100 or 120 for limo two day minimum on weekends. The golf carts just like everything else are ragged out. The one we had wouldn’t charge so I called the number three times to get help…. No answer I had to go hunt down someone to get assistance, well they just gave me a different one and it has pieces falling off it. To top it off the amount of rules and aggravation we experience was really crazy. They do not post rules and just make up rules as they go. Nothing is posted or put in their rules you sign about grilling on the back deck but they will tell you can’t after you are cooking. Don’t expect lifeguards to do anything but set there and talk to their teenage friends (as they are teenagers themselves) but they will yell at kids for doing exactly same thing their friends do. Roads are rough so if you bring in an rv expect to be driving in pot holes and dragging low in dips. Just really sad it has falling into disrepair.Rooms: Dirty and way over priced for cabins and rv spotsNearby activities: Only on thu frid sat they have activities other than splash pad.Walkability: No it’s just far enough you will have to rent a golf cart and it is expensive.Noteworthy details: Expect fees for everything.

Stayed the weekend for a family wedding, park was clean, amenities were great. I had a waterfront campsite but couldn’t access the water for all the water plants. My site had a deep gully thru it from rain, which we had to drive over it which was tough in a 38’ Class A. My sister stayed in the cabin next door and that was so convenient for our family. You need to a golf cart if you don’t want to drive your Car everywhere. Park is very spread out and very wooded which is so peaceful. Would stay again.

Best camping experience. Wonderful place full of fun and activities for the kids and adults. We stayed in a water front cabin and it was great! Pretty clean maybe some little cobwebs and stuff but that's to be expected! They provided a lot of things in the cabin you would need like cups, plates, bowls, etc. I highly recommend anyone to make a trip here its well worth it!

Needed somewhere close to home due to traveling with young kids. We’re from Hammond, La and this is the perfect distance. It was far enough it still felt like a vacation. Our stay was made enjoyable by Bridget Lyle. Our kids loved her, we loved her, the park better show her some love too. She’s one of the reasons we will be back.

We had a great time at Yogi on the Lake but the customer service before arrival is terrible. I had to pay for a cabin and tent spot because no one would answer the phone or return voice mails to make a change. A cabin came available for the dates I wanted and no one would answer the phone so I could make the change.

We stayed 13 nights and extended twice for another night. It was super empty and enjoyable. We liked the walks with our dog. People were very friendly. But if you have an all-leash policy for dogs, please have your employees follow the rules as well. It’s not enough that their dogs listen to them, but also how other dogs react to them being loose. Also, I think they should be picking up after their dogs as well. We always did and never saw them doing it. That the park was very empty is no excuse for that!

This place is probably fine im just pissed I was directed from another website to book a reservation here thinking it was close to where we would be riding dirt bikes, but after i made the reservation the two places were 2.5 hours from each other. Also not the campgrounds fault. BUT! I called within 12 hours of making the reservation to cancel a month away reservation and they are going to hold $30 from my refund. Thats unbecoming of a decent business and will not ever spend a penny here because of it.

First, their map and campsite placement was so far off it took us 20 minutes to find the site. Then, it was so rutted and muddy it took 4 wheel drive to get the camper into the site. Once in, it was so unlevel I couldn’t get near level using Anderson blocks. I asked for another site and while the campground was virtually empty they only offered one other site. It too was muddy and unlevel. The site above us had a water leak, which was reported, but the campground failed to address it. The next morning we slopped around in the mud to hook up and leave. Never again will I stay at one of these “resorts”.

Do not go here in the off-season. We have had amazing experience at Jellystone parks, so we went out of our way to stop for a couple days at this one on a long road trip. The pool was "open" but their heater was broken (the employee said that is a frequent occurrence). The mini golf was covered in leaves and the turf was coming up /holes were half covered, and the clubs were ROUGH. The play ground was dirty and could use a power wash. There is nowhere to sit while watching kids play on the playground or the bouncing pillow (the bouncing pillow is probably the only non water park thing that looked ok). We were excited that the Rec Center would be open for a few hours only to find out that you had to pay extra to do the crafts. We bought 2 bags to do the gem mining and waited while the employee turned it on, again to find out that it has a part broken on it and we can't do that. We were told that the laser tag and evening movie would be happening, so we went to those: laser tag was an additional fee, and the movie was a DVD that constantly skipped. I feel I could have camped anywhere else for 1/4th the price and at least had a decent playground.Highlights: The employees have been friendly and the lake view is nice.

Angelina Quick at the crafts activity station was awesome! She helped completely when we were creating our shirts and made sure we were completely satisfied with our experience.Nearby activities: So many options! Some a little run down but definitely still worth the camp style fun!Walkability: Very easy access to the different stations and activity sites.

Great facilities for the kids. Pool was great. Activities at every turn. Water park structure is showing its age / use with loose screws and broken water guns and levers. So be careful with that, but it was still fun. Great atmosphere for family camping. They even had movies under the stars. Great staff. Very accommodating.

We fully enjoyed our stay here, and wished it could have been longer. There was SO much for our family to do.The pool and water park area were really fun (but the water was too cold). The mini golf was cute, even though it does need a complete overhaul/updating. There is a cute laser tag course, a Gaga ball pit, a water balloon center, and a nice large jumping pillow. The lake is just beautiful and very large. The flies were really bad due to the lake, but we would definitely stay here again. Finally, our site was extremely uneven and we needed to use extra blocks to balance our fifth wheel that has automatic leveling. But again, these negatives didn’t affect us much and we loved it here!

We had the best time on our family vacation! The staff was amazing! Our boys loved the “messy weekend” and said the chocolate slide was the best! They also enjoyed playing laser tag. The husband and wife manager team went above and beyond helping us to carry firewood back to our cabin as well as making sure our boys got extra time playing laser tag, since they loved it so much. We stayed in a cabin on the water and it had plenty of room for our family and our Great Dane. He enjoyed watching the ducks off the back patio of the cabin. We are already planning our next trip back!

My experience here is both good and bad. On one hand, it's convenient that the water park is so close to Jackson for a quick day trip or overnight stay. The water slides are fun, the check-in center is fully stocked and most importantly — the kids love it. However, the park itself could be better maintained. 2 of the docks leading out to the water were caving in. One dock had yellow caution tape. Our cabin had water damage all over the ceiling, toothpaste on the mirror, hair in the sink, and a full filter of coffee grounds left behind from the previous guest. The floors are rippling from wear and tear.We checked in for July 4 (on a Tuesday) but the park had no fireworks for the holiday. They were done on Saturday. Why? We spent good money to be here with a 3-night minimum. There should've been fireworks on at least Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday for the guests that came for the holiday. In addition, Yogi drove by our cabin on a golf cart but flew by so fast that the 7 emphatically-waving kids were disappointed he didn't stop to say hi (or at least slow down?) They assumed he was "mad." (Their words, not mine.) At one point, there was stereo music playing underneath a pavilion where teenagers were playing music littered with profanity. F words, B words. All the words. That should be better monitored. It was pretty disappointing. (I'm a young mom of 3.)Where is all of the money going to maintain this place? Do better about fixing up the cabins and grounds. If you don't start now, you'll fall behind and lose the park (and its guests) altogether.

Me and my family stayed the week of October 9th. Unfortunately we were not happy, nowhere on the website does it talk about an off-season. When we arrived all the stuff we thought we could do was not available due to low staffing and majority of the stuff is on Friday and Saturday. None of that was discussed except a flyer on the website that says that there is extra stuff to do on the weekend but we showed up on Sunday and none of that was true. I also was not happy with the cabin as our couch was caved in and sand all over the place. When speaking to the lady at the desk she made it sound like I was in the wrong because their flyer stated otherwise.

Not so good. Check-in took almost 30 minutes. It seemed like there wasn't enough staff, although they were very kind and helpful. Our cabin toilet wasn't secure and the shower leaked so much that we used most of our towels to contain the water. Plus side: the air contioning saved us from the 108 heat index. It seemed like most of the toys at the water park were non-functioning. I guess new ownership has made the quality of this resort fall way down. The grounds didn't look well maintained. Golf carts were not clean, tires and brakes worn. This place could be really awesome if they invested in upkeep. Hope they fix this soon.

We stayed in a Boo Boo cabin for 2 nights on Labor Day weekend. We are a family of 4 and we were very comfortable in our cabin. The cabin was clean when we arrived. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the restrooms and the showers! Our kids had so much fun with all of the fun and creative activities. The pool and splash park were well kept and super fun for all ages. The beach area was perfect for sandy play. We fished off of one of the many docks. The activity field was a great for a picnic! My favorite activities were karaoke at night and fireworks. The entire park was litter free & we saw staff members checking for trash and bathroom/shower cleanliness throughout our stay. The staff worked so hard to stay on schedule and make sure everyone got to experience the activities!! I was pleasantly surprised that they all still had such good attitudes after working their tails off!! That was super and it makes me think they really enjoy their jobs!Leaving was so hard but as soon as we hit the interstate, we booked our next stay!!!

We had an amazing weekend at Jellystone Park Pelahatchie - Yogi On The Lake. Can’t wait to go back with the rest of the fam! Their cabins are amazing! Super clean and fully stocked. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They had tons of activities for the kids and adults. We had so much fun with Ms. Bridgette and Yogi on the Hey Hey Hey ride. Boo Boo bear was super silly in the activity center. Ms. Tanya at the Ranger Station went above and beyond to help us have a great time. Even the maintenance guys were really friendly while getting us FREE kayaks. Can’t forget the manager in the cafe who suggested the delicious boo boo burrito.

We have been to this location twice for long weekend getaways with the kids. We have had such a blast every time! Our kids are 8, 6 and 4 and they love coming to Jellystone! The water park is big enough for both kids and adults to enjoy and small enough that even little ones will be safe in the shallow water. Theres tons of fry activities as well. The staff is super friendly and we love meeting all the other nice campers at the scheduled events. Every day at this park is stuffed full of fun! The store has a great range of necessities you might need and cute merchandise. The cabins are on the smaller side but they’re very well stocked and clean. The layout of the park is pleasant for riding the golf carts around and enjoying the fresh air. The food at the cafe is concession stand style at best but the cabin had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The mini golf course desperately needs maintenance but the kids still loved it. We will absolutely be back again! I recommend this camp to any family looking to vacation, especially since the different lodging and camping availabilities allows you to vacation according to your budget. Love love love Yogi On The Lake!
