For a dollar store i have no complaints especially a week before christmas. Ive seen and had to deal with much much more at "better" stores without the seasonal bullcrap

This is the worst experience of my life. I went to this store on Monday 12-23-19 around 4:30 p.m. to look around, purse on my shoulder the whole time. I did not use a buggy or buy anything. I was leaving the store and the door alarm went off. The cashier yells at me, "Ma'am" and I state with my hands up ," I do not have anything". I go to the desk where she is checking out another person. She states policy is that, "I have to go through your purse." Since I had no choice, she went through all my stuff, which is personal and an invasion of my privacy, proving to her I do not have anything that belongs to the store. I was treated like a criminal and will never shop at family dollar again if this is their policy.

I have shopped at Family dollar at McLaren shopping center for about 25 years I have never had a bad experience there no matter what staff was there at the time I hope that the of the receipt of goods for the store will continue if I live 20 miles away I would drive to the store to shop

Much like Fred's this is a relic of the last generation but unlike Fred's this store is mostly modern and sells products on their own merits and not on outdated brands.
