Had an early dinner, party of four. Our hostess seated us, and was very friendly and accommodating. Food was nicely prepared. We enjoyed the atmosphere near the marina.The only drawback for me was that the fries were seasoned and I can't eat foods with black pepper because it burns my tongue. Most other people would enjoy them, and the fries were crispy as I like them.

We stopped here while on vacation. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.We had the seafood mac & cheese and the shrimp roll, and they were simply amazing! If we ever get around here again, we will definitely come back here to eat. I would strongly recommend anyone traveling near here to give Shaggy's Pass Harbor a try. Keep up the great work, and kudos to your staff!

Update- had another wonderful dining experience. This time, coconut shrimp and avocado crab cobb salad. Definitely recommend this location (as there are 3 of them). Great food. Fantastic service. Wonderful atmosphere. Beautiful view. Had an amazing singer/ guitarist on the deck; he was so good. Not loud. The waitress was a doll; so helpful and attentive. We had Royal Reds and Shrimp Tacos and margaritas. Good sized portions and cooked perfectly.

The place was absolutely amazing! The staff were welcoming and very efficient. Maggie helped us and was a complete ROCKSTAR! She helped us navigate the menu and offered great suggestions. This was our first visit but we will definitely be back before the end of our trip. We are in town for a couples weekend away.The location, vibe, food and drinks were awesome!!!

Food was delicious. The waiter Lauren was terrific. She was very familiar with the menu. She also advise me with great food choices. She Very Courteous and Polite. The establishment was comfortable and clean. Damien the restaurant manager check on me and ask how I like the food. He was super nice. I ended up ordering the Mahi Mahi Tacos but I was still hungry and ordered Jerk Shrimp bowl and Fried Green tomatoes with Crawfish. I will definitely be back.

5 stars all day, fast service, FRIENDLY SERVICE! And Maggie with an “I E” made us laugh and is on her game telling you about the specials. I love to see people having fun doing their job. Customer service isn’t always easy. But she is definitely on her game! Thank you for a great experience!! We will be back! Photo is what was left of all the food we ate.

Great seafood and enjoyable seaside dining. This is the kind of place you can hang out with friends for hours enjoying drinks and tasty appetizers and meals. The waitstaff is friendly, welcoming and attentive. For a filling sample plate, try the platter for two. It's cheaper than the individual platters and comes with soup or salad. Get the chowder! It's amazingly good 👍.

We caught our fish that morning and returned to the same dock that Shaggy's restraunt is at. Ours guides handed our catch in a bag and said we could bring it directly to Shaggy's, and they would fry it for us. It was amazing, and they added hush puppies and fries to go with it. All the food and fresh fish were tops. Would highly recommend!

My wife and I came here on a visit from out of town. It was our first date night in a long time and the staff was phenomenal! We had a fantastic experience, great food, and a great night. Our server team was the absolute best and made our evening. Corrine was so sweet and even gave us candy to bring back home to our daughter since it was Easter! Our other server Brandy gave us great suggestions as it was my first time eating there! And shout out to Lauren as well! All an all, they have a great team and serve great food!!!

The original!! Amazing in every way. Sydney our waitress was absolutely a delight. She was prompt and professional. Together she and I witnessed our first dolphin sighting right in the harbor. Food was quick but delicious Nachos are HUGE!! The shaggy shrimp trio was fantastic!! My hubs had the broil reds and he said they are wonderful. Great talent singing live. Restaurant was clean and atmosphere was so fun! Can't wait to come back and definitely will recommend the resoand the waitress that made our visit special

Ordered the shrimp roll and Rum Runner. The shrimp roll was filled with sweet gulf shrimp (you get two rolls!) and dressed well. The Rum Runner was really balanced, not too sweet and make this tiki loving girl happy. My server was Maggie’s who was super sweet and took time to chat and really made me feel welcomed. She was super attentive and has great stories! Beautiful views of Cat Island, and the marina is charming. The pigeons do go marauding, so watch your plate!

For those who have never been, it does get a little warm in there since there is no AC but it will be very breezy and comfortable as long as you’re okay with mid 80° temperatures (September). The food was good and the service was very friendly but after our family of four got two (small portioned) appetizers, two tumblers that we were sold on which seem nice and you get a small discount with your drink orders, and with our meals the total came to $270 with the tip. We’re not going to slack on the tip because of the cost but we were a little shocked with the portions, the quality, and the price. The food was good, I’m just not sure we can justify doing a big family dinner here again when the restaurants on the coast around here seem to have the same quality food for double the price. This must be why the locals say it’s more for tourists. I also had a hair accidentally stuck to the inside of the bottom of my salad bowl and, big surprise, I didn’t know or find that until I was almost done with my salad. I didn’t mention it because these things happen but all together we just had some mixed feelings about the cost to quality ratio.

The She Crab Soup was, without a shadow of a doubt, the best we’ve savored in years—rich, flavorful, and comforting, it was a bowl of sheer joy.What made our experience even more memorable was the service we received from Lauren, our waitress. Lauren was the epitome of what an ideal server should be - charming, smart, and funny, with a helpfulness that made us feel welcomed and valued. Her recommendations were spot on, and her attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed.Given our fantastic experience, it’s without hesitation that I give Shaggy’s a resounding 5 out of 5 stars. For anyone in search of great food accompanied by great service, this is the place to be. We’ll certainly be recommending it to friends and family, and we look forward to our next visit.

Visiting from Cape Cod MA in February we were blessed to be able to sit outside to enjoy lunch. Highly recommend the Carribean Pina Colada with the toasted coconut rim - excellent! We had Brandy as our server and she was just the best! Attentive but not intrusive. I didn’t love my she crab soup - found some bits of shell which while that may speak to its freshness, I don’t love that - without a question it was removed from the bill. Our party enjoyed the artichoke spinach dip topped with shrimp (going to make this one at home!), 2 of us had the shrimp po boys and 1 order of the shrimp tacos - all were enjoyed immensely. Very fresh ingredients perfect amount of sauce and spice. If it wasn’t a 5 hour plane ride with a layover to come back - this would be on a regular rotation for us!
