Stopped here while antique shopping along the coast. Shop is packed, so you need to check every nook and cranny. Saw another review stating prices were expensive. I disagree—some things were high for current market, but reflective of quality items and others priced very reasonably. The owner was very personable, friendly, and open to making deals. Purchased just one item, but know I’ll be back to shop again soon.

In all fairness, I gave this shop a very negative review a month ago. We found it open today. All you antique collectors might take a look. Not my type of things, and a bit high priced, but glad we got a chance to see this interesting shop.

I've dealt with lots of antique buyers & sellers from New Orleans to Ocean Springs and I'd have to say that this place is definitely worth the trip. Inside is packed with little odds and ends as well as furniture with big items that you would have to discover on your own. Antiques that look like the King & Queen of England owned themselves. (Where does she get all these wonderful finds, she's been collecting forever) The owner has the knowledge you seek and she is one of the nicest people I've met, very inviting. Do yourself a favor if you are looking for a special gift or that one of a kind item. You should have no problem finding tons of stuff you want to bring home with you.

Iron Magnolia has an extensive collection of various antiques; from outdoor decorations and furniture, beautiful glassware, small trinkets and some truly odd finds. I have personally been searching for true Vaseline glass or uranium glass. I brought my black light with me to verify it’s authenticity. The scientist in me is fascinated by radioactive dishware. (Actually I bring my black light everywhere I go, you would be amazed by what lights up) I was surprised by the large stock of it and bought a few pieces. I will definitely be back to get more and check out everything I missed the first time around.

I have a lot of collectibles and antiques and unique items that I brought in to her shop to get more information about their history and origins.The lady was extremely unpleasant and could not give me any information about the items other than “they aren’t worth much” and “people don’t buy those things anymore.”I was very offended at the fact that she pre-judged me and had made an assumption that I was only there to try to sell my things. When in fact, a lot of the really neat things that I have I’ve had for years. I had no intentions of bringing them to her to sell and trusting that she was being truthful and not just trying to rip me off, without getting a second opinion and maybe even a third or fourth based off of whatever information I got from her.Unfortunately she was unable to give me any information on any of the items I brought. Although I asked several times including asking specific questions such as, where they were made and by whom?, or any information she could tell me.I also wondered how she knew how much it’s worth if she had no other knowledge she could share about the items.I would not recommend bringing your antiques or collectible items to her for information or appraisals.

This place is a hidden treasure. Prices are very reasonable, plenty of antiques and all wood furniture. Make the trip, you won't be disappointed!
