Better prices on many things than WalMart

I have to say I have never in my life received better customer service than at this Dollar General. I only ended up spending like 3 or $4 they treated me like I'd spent a $1000. I ended up calling the regional manager to thank him and the corporate office to make sure they receive the recognition that They deserve. I was absolutely blown away at the level of service and cleanliness of the store.

Some of the ladies here are wonderful, and for a dollar general, they do have a good selection. But there’s this one woman who works the register, always on the phone, and not focusing on her job. Today she tried to refuse selling something to me because she didn’t know how much it costs, and when I was checking out of the register it turned to a nightmare. She told me my card was declined and that I couldn’t let the people behind me in line go first to figure out what was going on. She made me run my card so many times with their faulty chip reader that I got a call from my bank who had locked my card for potential fraud. She has no clue what she’s doing, and should not be on the clock by herself because she needs help for everything. Won’t be going back to this store until she’s fired, or if I really HAVE to. Which is too bad because I live down the block.

My experience as an employee at this store was terrible. My coworkers were fine the manager could use more customer service training and training on proper communication skills with his employees. And should think about properly training his employees instead of throwing them to the wolves.

The Dollar General always has what you want and now they just expanding it where they have fresh fruit and long vowels of frozen foods and the place is really clean. They got a great little staff and the way they fixed up the store in the past few weeks it's very very nice

I was accused of stealing! I'm not sure if the associate is the store manager. I thought I was accused of stealing the candy I opened inside before checking out. After being questioned about the item I supposedly put in my purse, I started emptying my purse. The associate asked me if that made me feel better. I was furious, embarrassed, and shocked.

This is the second or third time I’ve been to this location this mont Still NO AIR conditioning!! It’s 97 degrees outside and feels hotter inside!! The poor employees having to work in these conditions is horrible!! I won’t be back unless I know it’s fixed!!! We live very close and it’s very convenient I will go to Walmart.

I love our local dollar general only complaint is summer time it's too hot I hate going there in the summer u literally can't breathe in the store they have to prop open the doors I seriously don't know how the workers survive their shifts bc I cant be in there longer than 2-3 mins but the service is top notch friendly and helpful.

Had to run to dollar general for some meds for my child. The website says they close at 10. It was 9:15 and they were closed. Asked them if I could grab some meds for my son real quick. And I was told no! Should update store hours on website and door.

It's good for quick needs. I like the convenience. But little dark in there. However the cashiers are always super friendly, talkative, and helpful.

They Never have anything. And the employees are rude. Never shopping here again. I will be shopping at family dollar in the bay from now on. If i could I would give them a 0!

My digital coupons did not upload when I triex to add them and paid. I went back when I realized and was told by an employee, an acting manager, that she called Ms. Bee and the manager that she said she text....nothing could be done. They said I would need to get technical support from the app. When I asked them to show me where on the app...noone knew or could help and the acting manager walked away. What a disgrace! I hated Walmart, but they will now get my business!

The Pass Christian DG is awesome which means that the ladies who work there are awesome. They are helpful. Know where everything is. Friendly keep the store in order too. Way to go north street DG!

this store is a big rip off the prices on the product say one thing when u get to the register its a higher price when I ask about this the 1st time girl was very rude they over charge me by 4 dollars and gave me a dollar off and said I would have to come in to talk to the manger so I said ok its a remolded maybe its a mistake came back next day they over charge me again. I was who can I talk to guy comes out says prices on floor or wrong so I ask if they would fix he's like not my job so . today I walk in pick up 5 items everyone rang up wrong to the tune of 7 dollars wrong so asst manger comes out I think and get real flip with me im like really u priced your store wrong and u getting pissy with me so I said fine and now im contacting there main office the bbb and the local district attorney I use to like to shop here I will not be going back again

Some employees are very friendly, but sales are never marked very well and a lot of the price cut signs are usually missing. Store has greatly improved since the remodel!

They have produce...Walmart what? I love this dollar store. They have Almond milk and other things. The cashiers are always friendly.

This place has products out with wrong pricing, you supposed to sale the product for the price shown it's the store fault if it's priced wrong.. To much hassle i don't like this store, poor customer service as well.
