If I could have given a negative one to Olive Branch Petco, I would. My dog initially had a grooming appointment at the Collierville Petco, however, on the day of my dog's appointment, which was on Tuesday, February 13th, Petco Collierville cancelled on me. I was heading out of town on Friday, February 23rd so in desperation, I was looking for a grooming appointment for my dog since Petco Collierville cancelled on me. I was happy to see that the Petco in Olive Branch had an opening for Tuesday, February 20th at 12 noon, so I scheduled. The day before I received a confirmation, and I confirmed. At 10:21am, I received a call from Madison, who asked me if I can bring my dog in at 11:am. She explained that since he is a senior dog, then she needed him there before 12 noon. I had just finished a meeting and I was so upset. I didn't curse or anything but I said to her "are you kidding me, he has a 12 noon appointment, and you are calling me now at 10:21am to bring him by 11am"? "I didn't even know that Petco had a policy that senior dogs has to be in before 12 noon" . That sounds like age discrimination to me. And after that the Madison said to me, well you're upset and I'm not comfortable grooming your dog. I couldn't believe it. To be honest, she didn't want to do the dog and it was so easy for her to blame me being upset, to use the excuse. Who wouldn't be upset. Later on, I called and spoke with the supervisor Crystal, who basically tried to tell me that she was just confirming, no she wasn't. Basically, Crystal couldn't resolve anything. She only had the title, but no authority. Thank for nothing Petco, Olive Branch. You won't be seeing me ever. I am done with Petco. My dog is almost 11 years old, but you will never know it because he has lots of energy and most people thinks that he is a puppy. Madison, prefer to do young dogs. Senior dogs are not her thing.

Made appt for dog grooming. Met with Tiffany who was extremely rude regarding a matted paw on puppy that we wanted to take out but not bald the entire paw and leg. The dog only had a matt in two front legs and one behind an ear, not full body. She was a poor listener as to what I wanted for the dog to compromise with what she was actually able to feel she could do. She literally left as I was trying to explain a possibility of doing to groom the dog and not shave the entire dogs foot and leg - my dog was NOT at all fully matted and I wanted to be sore sure they understood I did not want the dog shaved too much. Sensitivity was needed with me as the customer - i’ll never go back to this petco for as much as a dog dish. Staff was gotten and I felt ganged up on, not treated with gentleness over this. I will handle my own dog and never recommend you all to any of my many pet owner friends. Tiffany and some others in grooming I did not catch name, absolutely lacks customer service. To top matters off, they sent me a cancelation for my other dog for a following Monday appt without even asking if I wanted to cancel. That’s fine because I wouldn’t have gone anyways and would have canceled it but it adds to their level of unprofessionalism.

You shipped my 3 item order with only one item in it. And charged me for all three items!Will never order from Petco again because the store manager refused to even look at the order. Said online orders had nothing to do with the store. She could not help me. So, I can’t help your business anymore.02/14/24I also had my Minature Yorkie groomed. I was very upset with the service. My Yorkie”s hair was gapped all over and the shampoo job wasPitiful. When I arrived to pick her up, she was whining and sounded like she was being in pain. I started to through the gate when a rude employee told me to stay behind the gate at all times! I will never allow Petco to touch another one of my pets!2/14/24.

I found the exact items I was looking for. I had a very sick Chihuahua who wouldn't eat. All I could tempt him with was Blue Wilderness Chicken and Turkey wet CAT food. Thanks Petco. He is back to normal and eating his regular DOG food.

Pretty good experience shopping here. The store was clean. The employees were helpful, polite, and very knowledgeable. The selection of products was decent. However..the prices were a bit ridiculous. I understand how retail works and that there will be a markup on costs because Petco focus only on pet products and services, but it's still just a little to pricey than what it should be.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I brought in my 1 year old dog for a bath and grooming appointment (the stylist was Brittany R) and two days later I noticed his right eye was bloodshot. I immediately took him to the vet and the first thing they asked me was if he had gone to a groomer recently. I was told he had a subconjunctive hemorrhage which happened from being choked by the leash they use. I am beyond upset by this place. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE.

After hunting for an employee for 10 min, we found them socializing in a corner. The fish selection is horrible due to the state of the tanks. Employees were incredibly rude as well finding pretty much any reason to not get us a fish. "I just washed my hands and I'm about to eat lunch". This is THE WORST petco to go to.

Did not have the dog food we needed. Nobody offered to help us. Also noticed they are charging for bags at checkout now. Ridiculous. We used to be regulars but won't be going back.

I'm in here a few times a month, and I always have my dog, Rocco, with me. Some of the employees know my dog by name and he loves the attention he gets from them. I also appreciate that everyone I've encountered there has been super helpful and friendly.

The OB store had 4 'female' guinea pigs on display and we bought two of them. Turns out one of them was pregnant at the time of sale and the other is a male. We now have 5 guinea pigs and one of the babies needed an emergency vet visit after being born so we had to spend $212 to check the health of our unexpected baby. We now either have to find a new home for our already loved male guinea pig or spend another couple hundred dollars to have a separate enclosure for the males.No one at Petco will answer or return our calls about their mistake. This is now a very expensive and stressful issue for us. My 5 year old saw all the blood and the mother guinea pig eating the placenta after birth. That was very traumatic for her and I'm so upset at the dishonesty/carelessness from this store. You need to make this right Petco.

Went today looking for low fat treats. Got to the register, asked the girl about crude fat in the treats. All I got was " I don't know ". She didn't try to find out from someone else. You would think you would know the products if you work there. Bought the treats anyway, looked up the information I needed online myself. Will go elsewhere next time.

Super helpful staff and the store is organized and well stocked. They even have a great saltwater fish selection. I've seen everything from sea horses to peacock mantis shrimp at this location.

The young guy helping in the fish area was amazing. Incredibly knowledgeable and extremely patient and helpful! He knows what fish work well together, what will compliment your fish tank, and the best way to advance your tank. I will for sure continue to go to this petco.

I had a bad experience with the grooming at Petco in Olive Branch MS. First off Brittany called and left me a voicemail the day of the appointment and said that she was getting off at 6:00 PM and not 6:30 PM. My appointment time was 4:30-6:30 so she wanted to reschedule for an earlier time, as stated on their site a customer has to give a 24 hour notice before rescheduling or cancellation of an appointment, which should be the same policy as Petco employees keeping an appointment that was set days prior to the appointment when the time was available to schedule.I was able to get off work a little earlier than I had planned so that I could make it to one of the other available times- which I tried to call about to discuss what time to I could be there, I was willing to work with them- however even after leaving a voicemail I was not able to speak with Brittany to reschedule. I went ahead and drove up there and made it a little before 4:00 PM which was one of the available times. When I arrived an employee came out and asked me if they could help me to which I explained the situation that I was in, that was when she appeared to be talking to someone else and said “it’s yours”, that was when Brittany came out and from the beginning was rude and looking for every reason not to groom my dog. You could tell that she felt like we were inconveniencing her and whatever she was doing in the back.I am new to having a puppy and I use Petco for all of my needs for her. I was looking forward to allowing Petco to groom her, but after this experience Petco has lost my business.

Alex was EXTREMELY knowledgeable. He gave options that best fit our needs for the grandkids new pets. He took the time to answer, not only my questions, but those of my 6 and 8 year old grandsons. I had bad experiences in the past and decided not to visit this particular store for awhile. This visit restored my trust in the quality service typically received with Petco.

April the dog trainer was super friendly, thorough, and an excellent human. She took time and went above and beyond to ensure I had an excellent experience. Both other employees were unable to assist me, however April really stepped up. I used to work for Banfield and have always been super pro pet smart, but April really impressed me. Petco you are lucky to have her and I highly advise you don't lose her

They didn't have the cat food I was looking for in the store but could have ordered it online. They have some good deals but mostly everything is overpriced. My daughter was able to get the crickets she needed. We go every other week for those. The cashier was very friendly and helpful and the store was very clean.

Petco was great. I routinely take my grandsons to McDonald's first, then Petco since they are in same shopping center. My grands always enjoy looking at all the colorful fish, snakes, lizards, parakeet, guinea pig, and they can see the dogs through the glass while they are being groomed. It is always an exciting outing for them.

I’ve been coming to this store location for years for my fish supplies and buying goldfish as well. I have never felt the worst customer service until today. I came in and was trying to purchase another fish to add for a new tank. The lady told me that the guy was helping someone but would be with me in a few and their store closed in 5 min. I was already in the store over 10 min waiting for some assistance. I understand there is a shortage of help but I waited patiently and the guy never assisted me. I ended up leaving once closing time came and hadn’t purchase what I came for. I WILL NOT be back to this location, this was very upsetting and I felt like a customer that was not considered important. Do better on customer service.

I call for something for me dog and the lady took the time to see if they had it. Came back to the phone right away. Got there and she was so supportive in helping. it was a great experience for me. Had been looking for it for about three weeks.
