I had an emergency with my 7 month old Belgian Malinois. He had gotten hit by a car. They were so great with iust not treating our family fur baby but was very compassionate and understanding with us. I was so pleased with how they handled the situation - they are our new vet!!! Thanks so much for everything!!

Dr. Barnes and Dr. Turner have both impressed me on multiple occasions. Recently, Dr Barnes saved my dog's life. When I brought him into the clinic that morning he had been vomiting and looked absolutely pitiful. It turns out he had a "massive infection" as well as Pancreatitis. My dog had to be hospitalized overnight, but before the clinic closed for the day they allowed my husband and I to visit with our dog. They brought him out with the IV bag still attached and held it patiently while we got to visit our fur baby. They were absolutely amazing. Also, the final bill was very reasonable.

My son's dog Cooper went for his annual shots. The whole staff was friendly and professional. Cooper got some samples and his own ID tags. I would recommend them to any pet lover..

I love Dr Barnes She it's awesome always answers my questions calls me when my baby was sick and sent me pictures of her. I love everyone at the clinic they are the sweetest people that I have ever used for my vet for my puppy and I'm so glad that my mother-in-law father-in-law sent me there. Cuz Dr Barnes and her staff is wonderful I love them

They were friendly and approachable. I could tell they were busy but they didn't make me wait before greeting me and asking about my pets ailment. I was panicked when I went in and felt assured my pet was taken care of when I came out.

I had. 3 month old Great Dane thrown in my lap. Last year. He has been a great dog but has become aggressive toward other people. I decided to have him neutered but was concerned about his aggression and safety of the vet assistants Doctor Barnes was not deterred by his behavior. She prescribed medication to calm him and provided a muzzle. It was a bit of a struggle to get him inside but once he was in, everything went off without a hitch. I appreciate Doctor Barnes willingness to work with me and Bleu.

Everyone who works here is very helpful, knowledgeable and puts you at ease even in the worst situations…..having a pet being diagnosed with a disease. I definitely recommend using them as your veterinary practice!

Although, I haven't visited this clinic, I called for my cat who had an emergent neck wound to be seen. In a rude and absorbed tone-of-voice, I was told they were booked. However, I could drop off my cat & he would be seen if they had time. I immediately thought, hell no-way! Why would anyone think that anyone would drop off a loved pet with a nasty neck wound? I called another clinic and was able to take my kitty to be seen within a few hours. Of course, had a 45-minute drive, but my loved pet is worth every mile & almost $500. But I'm sure this clinic is fine without my money, ever!

My family and I moved to the area about a year ago so we didn’t have a family vet...until today. I took my big baby Jax to Newton Animal clinic today and will not be changing anytime soon. Glad we found a new place that has the nicest vet I’ve ever met. She spent time talking with me and going over different avenues with regards to my dog’s horrific allergies. Just a great lady who really does care about the animals she sees. If you’re looking for one of the kindest and most informative vets out there, this is the spot!The only bad thing I can say is that she won’t see me as a patient, only my animals!😀

This is where I take my four legged friends. They are caring and informative and love for you to ask questions. Their main focus is on the health and well-being of their animal patients. They are also affordable which is definitely a plus. I would recommend them if you live in or near Newton.

Brought a rescue in who showed up at my home poisioned. I managed to keep it alive that night and use the last bit of money to have this already abused animal treated by vet , vet asst, and receptionist that were obviously in their own minds better than us. No rescue prices, no compassion, terrible diagnosis . Relieved no treatment even after making suggestion of drip. Paid money I didn't have to have her die on the ay home. I even asked about putting her t sleep , she just looked and implicated how much that seervice costs. I want my money back. Take your furbaby elsewhere.

Did not like how they treated our Chihuahua at all :( Also they would not sell us flea and tick meds. For our other dogs unless we brought them in. We switched back to our other belt, to save $10 it was no not worth the 40 minute drive for us. They was not very friendly either!

The only reason I go here is because of convenience. I don't feel like any heart for what they do is in their work. Maybe that's the problem it's WORK not a passion or calling. Reasonable pricing , but don't expect to show up with nothing because you won't be seen
