I shop a DG every Saturday. Polkville's DG is my favorite of all (organized) but Newton's DG is has all my household needs too as well as the other stores. No cap, Newton can get highly congested during inventory days but never to the point I couldn't find a particular item. Love the coupon savings on Saturdays!

My visit was fine. I found what I needed this particular trip but if I had to complain about anything it would be the disorganization and no prices on items. It's always messy. Boxes are everywhere most of the time, and I have to use my app just to scan for prices. They don't price all the items in the store. Not sure why but it's a bit annoying at times.

The place is too cluttered. The associates are rude & unfriendly.The shelves are unstocked with sale items and the associates never know what's on sale while the sale ad is not always out where the customer can get it. And please don't try to use a coupon because the associates act as though you're giving them too much work to do.

Buggies were in the isles filled with things that needed to be put on the shelves but we're out of the way so you could still move around. Overall good experience but like in every place. Things could be improved

I can run in a grab what I need and be out in just a few minutes. Store is clean and well stocked. I really like the $1 isle. Lots of good name brand things and DG brand I use often.

It's fairly clean and maintained. The biggest problem with the store is the shelves are always empty. Everyday, well bought items are never in stock.

The store is always well kept but 9 out of ten employee members are always giving off the deminar that you highly inconvenience them. They don't know answers to any questions nor do they make an attempt to find out. But that's everywhere now

Stopped in to pick up a few things and was greeted by one of the friendliest manager/ cashier I have ever met. The store was stocked well I will definitely recommend this store.

Can't walk through the aisles because there are carts and boxes everywhere. Been like that for about 2 years now. They closed for a week for remodeling but didn't clean anything up. Just moved it all around. This store is a FIRE HAZARD!

Not very busy. I was in and out in 3 minutes and got all the items I needed. Great customer service.

Every little town that can't have a Walmart can have a mini Walmart a dollar store even though the prices might be just a little bit higher than Walmart you can always find what you need Dollar General

It's ok usually one long line. Merchandise in the aisles in customers way half the time and not put on shelves.

Has alot of necessary items two for the 1/2 price of another, I find my gum there no one else in town has.

It's a good place for small items but not fully stocked... I run a business and this would not be how I would run it

It's not the place, they never have enough people working, 1-2, people who have to do everything, cashier, stock out person, etc...,Only 2 cash registers, but only one open.

Some items were strawn over several isles and the whole store was rather dirty but I did find what I was after and saved money.

The manager at the Newton Ms store is not so friendly. Always out of items I'm looking for. But have alot of unpacked merchandise.
