Growing up, there was a Ward's in my home town. I haven't eaten there in 32 years. I've never had such nostalgia. The food tasted absolutely the same...it was uncanny and amazing! The french fries are very fresh and probably the best you will ever have, the root beer is the same recipe from over 30 years ago, and the burgers and hot dogs are to die for. I seriously suggest trying this place if you have not already. Excellent spot for cheeseburger hunters looking for a local and unique #1 burger!

Amazing food for a good price Rebecca is an amazing employee but the older lady with white hair is not so great literally getting onto Rebecca for going above and beyond because she says they don't have time to do extra things. If it wasn't for Rebecca my experience wouldn't have been so great but thankfully she's a delightful employee. If the older lady with white hair is a manager they need to do some house cleaning because without her they would have had a 5 star review from me

Started off bad and only got worse. The cashier was irritated and obviously ready to leave. Then they wanted to charge my mother for faucet water with no ice. The kicker was, the meat on all out burgers was still pink after we waited forever for it to get done. We ordered 4 burgers and 1 fry.Do not recommend.

Since Petal wards has went down hill we travel to Hattiesburg or New Augusta. Last few months I have few days a week I work in Moblie AL... on the way I stop by the Wards in New August for breakfast. Had a few wrong items or somethings not made correctly from time to time but I don't complain. Yesterday I got me and my helper 2 sausage egg & cheese biscuits. Both biscuits hard and burnt. No egg on either biscuit. We did not eat the biscuits and by lunch they had the truck stinking so I tossed them and kept my receipt. Stopped in today to see if they could make it right and lady said I had to bring the biscuits back. I explained I was passing thru to work. Still just got a look. I just walked out. As a buisness man myself I don't see how wards is even in buisness. They lost my 2 or 3 days a week breakfast money. Hardees got them beat with breakfast anyway.

Wow. Root beer was tasty, but $30 for two “Garden Salads” (at $5.50 each pictured - essentially just hamburger topping lettuce and diced tomatoes), two fries, one onion ring and two drinks is steep. Fries and rings were over fried and not fresh. The entire place could use a good scrub. Floors and doors were thick with greasy grime. Drive thru and get a root beer, but otherwise best bet might be the next stop.

Food is great tasting but this is a picture of a spicy chicken wrap that costs $2.99! Like, where is the chicken at????!!!!! Go to Tater's and get more for your money. This is pitiful

The burger patty was so thin but even still didn’t seem to be cooked all they way. I’m not a picky eater but couldn’t finish it because it just didn’t seem cooked. What I assume was a frozen corn dog was the best thing I tasted from our family of 5. Only stopped here because was the only thing for about an hour.. the gas station next door may have better food .The service and people were great , the food was not really good at all.. kids didn’t even like the cookies from the kids meals .

The grilled chicken sandwich was great. But the fries had no salt or season. The popcorn shrimp weren't great. They were prebreaded and like the frozen ones you buy in the gro store. They didn't give any sauce or offer any condiments at all. First time there and last time. Would of been better if the service was better. Girl looked angry about something at window. Hope her day got better.

Two women from the front counter held the door open while smoking just outside the doorMy baby & daughter, etc. All had to breathe cigarette smokeThe burger was dry, the hamburger bun seemed stale, and very disappointing overall for the price!!!Fries were big and had no flavorWent back to order cookies for kids and woman at register was far from friendly and ignored the items I was pointing at to pick.Infant High chair wasn't safe or clean

I got the cheese fries and my husband got a pulled pork sandwich. My fries were good and it was a generous portion. My husband liked his sandwich, however it was on the small side. The biggest negative I can give was the girl running the drive through window. You could tell she didn't want to work. She didn't say one word to us. We will try again. If we ever pass back through.

Well I tried their Chilli dog and hamburger and let's just say I didn't finish either, this could possibly be the worst fast food I've had. Now I can only speak for their dogs and burgers. Lady at the drive thru was rude too so that doesn't help. Anyway maybe they have other food that is good, I guess their fries were good but that was it. Wouldn't eat here again unless I had to.

We went to the location in New Augusta..The burgers are super tiny, not filling at all. The fries were really good. My daughter got kids hot dog and it was bright pink and tasted and smelt gross (I wish we would’ve taken a picture it was bad). The catfish was okay but not worth the price. The lady behind the counter was extremely rude and no one was welcome or nice at all. I wouldn’t recommend.

The pulled pork nachos are a real treat would highly recommend. Also greatly enjoyed their chili cheese burger. Fried were better than average for fast food joints, but could have used a bit more salt.

I LOVE WARD'S!! However, the time of night was about 8 pm, and the fries didn't seem like they were fresh. 🍟🍔🥤 However, this is one of my favorite fast-food restaurants! I definitely recommend this restaurant. Usually, I go to the Petal location, which I know some of the employees, and their fries are usually always fresh! Overall, Check it out!! 😊🥤🍟🇺🇸💯 All-American!! 🇺🇸🤩
