I purchased a ball that was defective when I tried to air it up. I returned it five minutes later for one that wasn't defective. I had to wait 10 minutes to exchange the identical ball, and the guy at customer service who did the exchange was rude. Therefore, this Walmart gets two stars so that others will be aware of the poor customer service here.

New Albany MS Walmart is very lacking in management and customer service. The store is the dirtiest Walmart I have ever been in. Everytime I buy milk or dairy products they spoil 2 to 3 days prior to Best Used by date.

Usually not overly crowded, and pretty clean!However, it's usually out of stock with a lot of things… like cheese, cleaning supplies, different things around the store.Edit, 2/18/22:Still out of stock on several things.Edit, 6/1/22:Still out of stock. You get the point.Edit, 9/18/22:About half of there strawberry cartons contained moldy berries. The one pictured is far from the worst; it just happened to be the one I was holding when I decided to take a picture.

Prices posted on the shelf are not what the register rings up. Department Mgr stated this was NOT her responsibility. A third-party vendor puts the prices on the shelf, and she is not responsible for items to be in proper placement. She is the manager of the department. That is what I call job security.

My favorite Walmart location nationwide. There's always plenty of whatever I need in stocks. Very clean and orderly as well as helpful staff

Good Walmart, clean, most of the staff is helpful. Did not need to use the loo so I don't know if it's generally clean or not. We come here whenever we come out for baseball tournaments. What's struck me was that the store is very organized, feels clean and the staff is pretty friendly. Good experience all around! Good job New Albany! (Parking lot in DESPERATE need of shade trees)! 🌳 🌴

Grocery department has stopped carrying most items that most people use, or they are out of stock. The lettuce is always bad. Boxes are bent, cans are dented, coolers are constantly broken down. This has got to be the worst Walmart in the state of Mississippi. Pontotoc and Tupelo super centers are far superior. It looks as if I'll need to start shopping in the other towns. The entire curbside pick up is a joke. They either lose your order or put 12 pks of cocoa products, and cases of bottled water on top of your other items. This has happened 3 times. Everytime I have called to complain they never change.

Very, very small Wal-Mart and small selection of merchandise. Whenever I go the security personnel is always following me around the store. I stopped going, I would rather visit the local grocery where prices and food are of quality. The tire center is a joke. No one can fix anything in the tire center.

I was in New Albany Ms. Going to mitas orthopedic to get a shot my.lower back joint. He been my Doctor there for a long time . He really good . The staff are good .... got a shot to get me relieve from pain in my lower back and joint. I turn the wrong way and pull my lower back . Also going to go to therapy to help my lower back pain and muscle strain. .....I stopped in the walmart their in new Albany Ms. It's a really nice walmart . So clean . I was impressed. Walmart is on left side over bypass.and doctor is on right side . You.go down road a piece and turn on side.road that curves around behind.the hospital . Mitas orthopedic is in there own building on street that goes behind the hospital. .. Great staff . Great doctor.

Not crazy about walmart in general. The vegetables aren't always fresh, fruit never tastes right and their prices are to high.Buy green bananas today and they're turning black in 2 days. Pretty sure they're using glycanol to keep them green until they reach the store. That means they've been setting in a banana vault for awhile, so you're fresh bananas are old and drugged up.It's not a secret walmart is crooked. They screw people and businesses all over the world.Like telling Goodyear how much they'll pay for their tires, and Goodyear supplies them with b stock from over seas. Yeah, it's a fact and you're way overpaying for those tires. Couple dollars more and you can go to a Goodyear dealership and buy American made tires with a bit more tread and better rubber compound, which means they'll last longer, therefore you save money in the long run.Much rather go anywhere than Walmart. Reeds, stokes, Kroger in tupelo, worth the drive. .UPDATE, I've been asked to update this review on different occasions. Be less harsh. No. I worked for Walmart for years and they're only getting worse as time goes by. If walmart wants a better review, then go back to the days when you deserved a better review. They do not value their employees and they no longer value their customers. They bully small companies and have done more to harm the environment and the economy than any other company. Employees have to decide between eating or paying their bills. Classified as part time employees but scheduled in a manner that exceeds the boundaries of full time employees. In other words, an employee receiving 40 hours a week has a broader collective of time outside of work hours due to the consistency of their scheduling. While a part time employee is scheduled in a manner that prohibits them from being able to obtain a 2nd job in order to supplement their income to obtain a liveable wage. By staggering the shifts they have to work, it isn't logistically possible for another company to schedule around the ridiculous scheduling of walmart. This is designed to keep the walmart employees in a position of not being able to work elsewhere so that the employee is more available to walmart exclusively. If walmart wants to be the employer it claims to be, they're not even close, and have the exclusivity over their employees, then their employees should be full time. A full time employee has benefits unavailable to the part time employee. By having a majority of part time employees that do not recieve enough compensation to put food on the table, these employees must resort to food stamps. They must resort to medicaid for their insurance. This not only causes an extra burden and insecurity to the employee, but raises the burden put on the state and government that offers these programs. Walmart is a major reason you communities are burdened to the point that they can't always help even more unfortunate and homeless peoples. Walmart purposefully, with intent, knowingly created an environment designed to disable communities, adding greatly to the national welfare system. Walmart has created dead towns and slum areas. They have impoverished communities by opening stores long enough to undercut the prices of local merchants, putting them out of business and then raising prices to capitalize on destroying the competition in that area. Then they have closed stores in the same areas they impoverished, leaving residents left to travel 50 to 150 miles to buy their groceries and necessities.I can spend days picking walmart apart. I doubt this is the update they wanted, but as long as walmart continues to destroy lives and communities to put more money into their own pockets with all their different unscrupulous business practices, they'll have to settle with this truthful review.

Spend more time in line checking out than you will shopping management treats thier hardworking employees like dirt they'll stand around and gossip literally all day while making one person do the work of 4 ppl while they just stand and watch during the busiest time of day they may have 2 out of 20+ registers open the rest is self checkout backed halfway up the store
