I go every week. Close to home, everyone is friendly,get to see a lot of friends while shopping, great customer service, well stocked, good food for lunch, if the meat market doesn't have it out they will get it for you.

I really enjoy shopping here with my mom and sister. The staff is friendly from the moment you walk through the door. Food selection are at good quality and taste compared to other grocery stores. I can tell the staff takes interest and pride into what they do.

Love to shop here but you literally freeze to death. They have it so cold even employees have winter clothes on checking people out. I want to be comfortable but not having to bring a jacket with me to buy groceries when it's 95 outside and 50 in the grocery store. They keep it entirely too cold in there.

They are well stocked and their meat looks amazing compared to everywhere else. A little bit pricey on everything but so is other stores. Could stand to rotate the produce section a little better other than that it was a good day.

I've never felt so disrespected and uncomfortable in a grocery store in my life. When people talk so loud about you like your not even in the room with no disregard on how I may have felt and then carrying on while I checked out my items LOUDLY. yeah I heard them behind customer service. "That young lady in the purple" "God hurry up and leave" while the young lady whom check me out made the most ugly eye roll when I walked up to register 1 to purchase my items. She looked as if she wanted to run. Didn't even speak one breath my way. And the best part, the smell or lysol spray. Now I get the fragrance of herbs where loud so I'll forgive the lysol spray. But the disrespectful chatter both Loud and whispers from management and workers where uncalled for. I'm still a paying customer well was. I'll never step foot in that place again. Wellllll lol maybe I will again smelling even louder just to please the great folks that hurt my feelings infront of many people embarrassing me.

Ya just gotta love Ramey'# for sure!*smiles*I'll admit that when going to this establishment cause it's most deffinately a very busy place purdy much all the time!As I do with most businesses that I goto I get to know people & they are my family!*nods her head*Being the social butterfly I am I meet lots of people & have a BIG ole HUGE family cause of it! Ramey's is one of those kinda places you wanna goto NOT run from!It's the kinda place you wanna goto. Sometimes you'll notice employees show up on their days off to have Coffee & also fellowship!*grins from ear to ear happilly*Mind you it's also got a fownside as does everything in Life!*rolls her eyes*Only thing I can see that I feel needs to change is the prices on food these days!I mean I can totallly understand needin to make somethin off what ya selling to folks. How can ya keep Makin money if there's No business cause of the prices on food?

One person said you don't get much discounts. Their friday sale is great. During the week matches most stores ,beats others.Go figure, you pay 4$ a pound for ground beef at Ramsey's, now you drive 60 miles to brookhaven ,you ay 3$ pound. You got to buy a lot of beef to make up that gas money. And yes i know that ground beef is more on avg. But the 70/30/ has been 4$ friday sale quite often. Matt

They have a very good selection on their pick five. The deli and bakery has a decent selection of sandwich meats and other products. The store prices however are not for people with a fixed income. You can not get the necessary items to complete a meal without spending a great deal more money. I will have to shop elsewhere for bread and most of my fresh produce. That means going to several different stores and thats just a inconvenience and costly in itself with gas prices. But worth it in the long run to do it that way.

I will never go to this store again!! It was probably one of the most embarrassing and humiliating experiences of my life! I was short on being able to pay for everything and while trying to pick out things I didn't need so I could get what was essential, the manager was completely disrespectful and downright cruel! She literally took things out on her own telling me and everyone else that was within 50 feet, what I needed and didn't need! I have never, I mean never, felt so humiliated in my life!!! She treated me as if I was less than human. I still don't understand how anyone could be so hateful and act that way towards anyone. All I could say as she followed me out the store was, "I'm so sorry. I will pray for you." And I meant it in the kindest way possible at that time...

Meat prices have gotten ridiculous these days!!! The pick 5's used to be a good deal prepattied hamburgers used to have 5 or 6 in a pack now they only have 3... Chicken strips only have a few pieces in them...

Deals on Friday and Saturday. Sometimes sale on good quality food at a low price. Can't believe how sweet the grape are. Good buy on butter if you do a lot of baking during the holidays.

I've known the owner for a very long time, when he first started out in bassfield. I also use to work at another business he owned, wards in bassfield. We need a wards up here in Terry (hint, hint Brad) talk about good food.All his stores stay clean, stocked and has the best employees. It might look like he is too pricey on his stuff but if you think about it how much in gas you would spend to go to a local Walmart add what traffic is going to be like, plus the weather.

Competitive prices and very decent selection of items for the small community of Monticello. The deli and vegetable section is fantastic. The vibe is a mix of Krogers and Food Giant and it works. Clean and very well maintained inside, but the parking lot needs some of the bigger potholes fixed. Ramey's is one of the reasons we chose to move to Monticello. Try their hot bar if you're looking for lunch or supper.

A great local store good for when you need a few things or a huge shopping list! I like to buy meat, eggs and milk close to home and they have a great selection of meats and my Prairie Farms milk, so what's not to love!

I always enjoy shopping at Ramey's. I don't live in Monticello but I usually stop by Ramey's when I'm in the neighborhood. The quality of their fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats is the best.

I just moved to Monticello, Ms.Today I had two of my small children with me and it is fantastic to have access to a clean, well stocked store that still bags your groceries, takes them to the car and even loads the car for You! Rameys cut out any anxiety about shopping with my little ones!

If it wasn't for Ramsey's I would have to go to Walmart. Like most people I can't stand Walmart.The freshly made sushi is to die for, especially on Wednesday's when they are a dollar or so off. Bonus: snowballs in the ice cream freezer. Let's not forget the 5 for $20 meats.
