Well-known throughout Mississippi for excellent pottery from the Mississippi mud. The shop is very nondescript on the outside but filled with a variety of beautiful pieces inside, most with the characteristic Mississippi River mark.A bit hard to find but worth the effort..

My wife absolutely loved the pottery. She found exactly what she was looking for and a few other things that were absolutely beautiful. The staff were extremely nice and willing to answer any questions of hers. She will definitely go back when visiting that part of Mississippi again.

First time shopping here and was so impressed with the Kindness of All the employees as well as the owner. I Love the pottery and was so proud to bring home a few beautiful pieces. Looking forward to coming back soon to purchase more and eat lunch here too. Love it!!

I meant to write this review previously because for me this is a “do not miss” when I come to this area. The pottery is beautifully made and I add a piece to my collection each time I come. They are closed in the winter for some weeks so check the website. They have there own unique style and my particular favorite pieces (in the robyn bluish) have the signature “Mississippi mud” track in it that reminds me when I look at it I have a piece of the Delta even when I’m not in it.

Really neat place with a lot of history and beautiful pottery. Far away from almost everything but definitely worth the drive at least once if if you're a pottery collector. Be sure to tour the gardens before you leave!

No trip to the Mississippi Delta is complete without a visit to McCarty's. A large variety of pottery pieces utilizing many of the original designs. Be sure and visit the garden. Ask about the McCarty restaurant, just a block or so away.
