We visited Dickey's BBQ while passing though the town en route to the beach. My family was very pleased with the food we received. It would have been better had the meat been warmer, but overall everything was cooked well and had a great taste. Dickey's can always be counted on for a good BBQ experience.

Bought the Spicy Brisket Sandwich (AMAZINGLY JUICY & TENDER) and tried their Sweet Corn side (CHEESY AND SO DELICIOUS) would really recommend those 2 ($11 after tax).. We got this free promotion card (found inside the utensil pack) which my husband availed, all you need to do is present the promo card and buy the Dickey's Tumbler ($2.30) and get a FREE Pulled Pork Sandwich.. The tables inside are spaced evenly, wearing mask isn't required. 2 tables outside is placed too (Pet friendly).. What I most love here is the FREE ICE CREAM dispenser located inside (right side of entrance). Would visit again if I can. I totally recommend this place.

Avoid this location if you can. HORRIBLE service. Ordered smoked wings and they pulled out 3 bags of frozen wings and dropped them in the fryer. When I asked regarding them I received MAJOR attitude and “that’s how we do them now”. Cancelled the order and the employee made a huge seen with the manager and said that “I had changed my mind”. Nope, don’t try and give me fried frozen wings from a plastic bag when I ordered smoked wings. Will definitely never return to this joke of a Dickies location. *Update-Dickies social media responded to my review to discuss the review. Emailed them my contact information and never heard back from them. I STILL Highly recommend steering clear of this place.

Food is ok, but no reason you can't figure out how to let someone with an online order pick up at the drive through. A little ridiculous to have to come inside the store and fill out a form when you are in a hurry. At the least, put that requirement on your website so people know before they sit in the drive through then get told you have to come inside.

This was my first trip to Dickey's.Good bbq! Fresh hot french fries! (They are fried when you order them..That by itself is worth 5 stars to me. (What is it with cold fries in Mississippi? And often undercooked in most places🤢..not here!)I paid $17 for a pulled pork sandwich, fries and slaw with water. The food was delicious!Atmosphere gets 3-4 stars because the floors were sticky (but appeared relatively clean). I mean really sticky, which made me think of public restrooms. (Tho I'm sure it has something to do with all the grease and the solution they use on the floors.) But, not an ideal mental image for eating. The whole dining area and furniture need a good scrubbing and a little update as well.Also, they had an animal channel on the TV right above me in my line of sight and the animals were doing gross animal things (think armadillo birthing). Lol Animal channel probably isn't the best choice for viewing.😜Also, there was no ketchup and when I asked for some they handed me 3 packs. I'd suggest buying it in bulk like the bbq sauce and letting people pump it out in the little bbq containers when dining in. The little packs are just about useless. And lots of folks like it on their bbq. Just a suggestion.Overall, I'll go back for the food. But probably won't stay for the ambience. (Pick up!)

The brisket was room temperature and mildly flavored (bordering on bland), the sauce options were thin and similarly mild, and the spicy kielbasa was cheesy but definitely not spicy. The macaroni and baked beans were both flavorful, but the rolls were heavy and doughy. Overall it was just okay.Bro tip: use the ice cream machine to make yourself a Coke float

Wanted to go to dickies but they’re closed that is understandable but can’t park in handicap spot because the workers are parking in a handicap area and I have pictures if that’s the way they are going to be and take up space for the handicap. I don’t think anybody should be here because they’re showing disrespect to people that need those areas. And they don’t even have a handicap placard.

I visited this place several times. All my orders (beef brisket) were picked up and placed via Uber Eats. The food is good. However, the customer service was always NOT so friendly or professional. On my last visit, they asked me to fill in a form to ensure I was not using a stolen credit card. The lady handed me a paper and said, "fill in this." I asked what that was (as I never came across anything like that anywhere in the US or overseas), and she said, "a form to ensure that you are not using a stolen credit card to place your order." Unbelievable! I will never go there again.

Their online order tracker doesn’t work. This wouldn’t have been a problem had the worker not responded with a nasty tone when asked the status of my online order. Then to top it all off, it takes forever to get the food even after confirming the order was indeed ready. What makes it worse is to get the order & I’m missing what is clearly printed on a receipt for their eyes to see & check. As a former employee of the food industry, being detail oriented & having an ounce of care for your position will prevent future mistakes. Thank you.

We had pork burnt end sandwiches, they were cooked good and had a good texture. The sandwiches were way way to salty!! My wife and I only finished about half each. Sides were good. We have ate at Dickies in Nashville and always loved it. We never had burnt ends in Nashville so I can’t say if this is normal or we just got something they have dropped a box of salt on.

I've eaten at Dickeys numerous times and it's always been good for fast food BBQ. This time it was not. This was my first time eating at this Dickeys. The burnt ends were dried out and tough. Also, I usually tip better than average, but I'm not going to leave a tip when I'm not getting table service. I went through a line, was handed my food, fixed my own drink and sat myself, so why would a tip be expected? The service was adequate, but not impressive.

So many reviews talking about the price. Everything has gone up. Have you people been to the grocery store lately? The meat prices are skyrocketing. If you're wanting the cheapo 99 cent menu items go somewhere else and eat the mechanically processed so called chick mc nuggets. Do they even come from a chicken anyway?.You get what you pay for. If you want tender, juicy and real authentic meat that came from actual animal... EAT HERE!!!I got the 2 meat plate with brisket and 2 sides. It was great and I liked the potato salad. It tasted like my Ma's. But man, those beans were off the chain too! I'll be back for more and I'll be bringing the wife next time.

Would recommendSo my family and I went to this place for an early dinner while we were there for my grandmother's funeral. The food was extremely good (try the creamed spinach, never thought I would say that!) And there is only one reason why I am not giving this place a full five stars. Call it a 4.95 out of five. The reason for that is the unfriendly demeanor of the staff.. and I get it, it was late in the day and my father was being slightly overbearing but then when the next group of people came in I saw the same kind of boredom and disinterest from the staff. Hopefully it was just an off day for them because the food here is surprisingly good for the price! No one left hungry, that's for certain!

You gotta stop and eat Big Platter with 4 meats and choose 2 sides-$19. WOW! These guys know how to cook. Choose your own extra BBQ sauces-mild,spicy,sweet or all 3. Enough to share with someone. Homemade Pecan Pie is excellent also. Off Exit 254B in Shopping Center on right, Meridian, MS.Parking: Plenty spacesKid-friendliness: Great for families. Stopped while passing through Meridian. Their ribs were the best I've tasted, and the mac n cheese and bbq beans were delicious as well. Definitely didn't taste like the average fast food restaurant food. It tasted home cooked. It was also clean inside and the staff was courteous.

The service was alright the people were friendly but were really slow at making my food. I had the brisket sandwich and smoked wings, and the sandwich was dry and had no flavor. But the wings are the only thing in my order that was really good, so I do recommend the wings. Don't think I will be coming back anytime soon.

This food is awesome, and you can tell it's high quality meat and smoked to perfection. The employees were so nice. My kids loved the FREE ice cream in the dining area the most. They didnt want to leave. 🍦 😅

I try to stop here every time I go through Meridian. Dickies restaurants are incredibly consistent with menus and food items so you never get a dish that taste different than one from another location. Friendly and quick service as always. Will keep going back.
