Our experience at Petco was great! Our pup received the attention and care that he needed and deserved. The groomer explained everything that he needed and presented a report card for him when I picked him up. Great service from a caring staff!

My dog had a 1045a appt. I called to check on her to see if she was ready at 420p, the person that answered said she wouldn't be ready until 6p. šµāš«š I want to know how is this possible?..... With a 1045a appointment, I didn't receive a pick up text until about 530pm. These places should really just accept walk ins because at this point an appointment means absolutely nothing. And I'm sure they aren't letting the babies out to potty let alone giving them water. š š It's a Never Again for me!

Nice store but I didn't like being told I shouldn't buy 2 fish with the size tank I had!!Update: Changed from four stars to 2 because the fish we bought died after a week!! I'm guessing he was sick & I'm glad it didn't kill my other fish!!

We brang my dog here and picking him up the workers were yelling at him and covered his crate up. When the workers realized we were in there, they uncovered it, and said "the owners are in here, stop." Then my account got flagged. Will not be coming here at ALL after this.

Highly disappointed⦠Stylist Monica messed up my baby. Noticed 2 of his paws were cut and infected a few days after this visit from hell. Called Petcoās customers service and was told they would call me back⦠no call back. Very disappointed and ready to call a lawyer.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! I gave my dogs there for a grooming and came back with my DOGS COMPLETELY SHEARED! I asked for a short cut with some fur left but instead SHAVED THEM! They didn't even cut my dog's nails properly! WOULD NOT RECCOMEND!

Great serviceI only go for pet grooming but still love it. I always try to request Kina(LOVE HER) but even when I can't get her they still do great.

Yesterday checking out at about 10 am was a pleasure with the help of the cashier, but I failed to get her name. She was very friendly and helpful. She said that I didnāt need to worry if a collar to protect my dog after his neuter would work. That was reassuring since it was $39. She helped me get signed up again for perks since she couldnāt find me.

We came a few months ago for a grooming appointment. I brought my 4 month old Bischon shihtzu puppy in for a haircut and I asked the groomer to cut it short, but to make sure enough fluff was still there and not nearly short enough to be able to see her skin. When we picked her up, she was completely shaved!!!! 2 months later her hair is still growing back and has not return to the soft fluffiness. Will never be going to a Petco or petsmart for grooming again.

When I first walked in I noticed one of the groomers thru the glass being mean to one of the fur babies as he yelped out loud, then she shook him , while saying something in his ear as I continued to watch unnoticed by her but noticed by her co worker. This particular groomer continues to say something to the fur baby as he yelped again as if in pain or scared because she was trimming his nails. I had previously called about bringing my baby there, now second thoughts!

Horrible store. Horrible customer service. I have called into customer service with no follow up from anyone. Every time I go to the jackson location fish shop is closed! Only because employee is sitting on FaceTime behind register. Waited 45 min one day to be told fish shop closed. Went back few days later, employee never came to me by fish. Stayed sitting up front. I could have walked out store with whatever I wanted!! I went up to her and asked if she could help me with a fish but she said fish shop closed. For no reason! Fish tanks weāre beautiful and had plenty of nice fish!! Madison location sold me a sick fish which caused my entire aquarium to get ICH which the lady told me wouldnāt kill all of my fish. I treated tank several times but lost hundreds of dollars of fish!! I signed up for vital care to shop at Petco and get the discount and now I canāt use it because jackson location never wants to sell anything and I am scared to buy again from Madison MS location!! Horrible horrible customer service and a waste of money. I have spent lots of money in the past few months to have NOTHING now

They're great here. I'll pick up cat food/treats from here if Amazon gives me trouble. I always like looking at the lizards and parakeets on display. They have adopted kittens/cats nearby the check-out as well from Webster Animal shelter, and I happily see that they are usually gone (so someone grabbed the cats and were adopted, more than likely...)

Poor service. Over charge by not charging the sale price. Question your aquarium and then lecture you when purchasing fish. Stop in the middle of getting fish to do other things towards closing the store when the store is over an half an hour before closing. Do not know what days fish are sold when nowhere online mentions fish are not sold on certain days.

Brought both dogs to Petco. Monica did a fantastic job trimming Roxie's nails. Roxie's not a friendly dog but Monica had her under control and not stressing! We also brought our teacup chihuahua puppy in and she loves Angie Smith and we do too! Angie has great advice for us for raising such a small breed.

technically, the employees were nice but they just kind of pet my dog without asking, which wasn't very helpful for training.. I understand it's a pet store, but I still feel like you should always ask the owner before petting someone's dog.

Warningā¦.Petco grooming services is absolutely ridiculous and horrible. This location use to have the best groomers and my Dogs always received the best service. We took our English white and golden retriever last week. My retrievers are both loving and gentle, but The groomer was very skittish and acted like she was scared, and did not want them to touch her. My golden retriever was refused to be groomed due to some medical conditions because she scared to aggravate the situation.My white retriever was groomed, but you was barely trimmed and could not even tell she had been bathed.The groomer is not at a gentle and welcoming person at all. She obviously needs to find another career if she is that scared to handle dogs and not want to touch them. We will be finding another groomer for surešā š¾

First time to use Petco grooming services for my border collie. Not a good experience and I will not go back! They said 3-4 hours. They only gave my dog a bath and trimmed nails but no haircut because dog was too scared. Said itās a trust issue and to bring her back when dog would be more used to them. Charged me $44 for bath (much higher then price on website). Ridiculous!

Took my year old Goldendoodle in on May 31, 2023, for a bath and trim. His usual groomer, Shanika, has been out on medical leave. Taylor groomed my baby. Taylor is HORRIBLE! My dog's appointment was at 1:45 pm. I dropped him off at 11:30 am. Taylor did not start on my dog until 5:30 pm! The grooming area closes at 6:00 pm! Didn't get home until 7:47 pm!!! All of my dog's fur was gone! Skin is showing in some parts and the skin is terribly red where he was nicked by the clippers. Scabs are starting to form where some of the cuts/nicks are. I never want Taylor to groom my dog ever again. I'm praying for Shanika's healing and speedy recovery.

It's your typical pet supply store, very large and welcoming to animals. I took a star away due to the store having items missing I needed, and the parking lot is weird, you have to walk out of your way to get your buggy to the car. But other than that it's a good store to shop with.

Was very disappointed in my poodle cut. Not a professional job but no big deal. Hair grows back. Groomer told me she couldnāt clean the ears because she had ear infections. I immediately took her to the vet and her ears were fine. Groomer just didnāt want to fool with her ears. I think she didnāt know how. Total bill was more than I was quotedā¦not to mention vet bill for non-infected ears.

We decided to switch to Petco after a bad fish experience at another store and VERY happy we did. Their fish tanks looked well taken care of, no dead fish floating anywhere, and one of the managers spent 15-20 minutes with us helping and explaining everything. It was a great experience and our fish are doing great :) definitely worth the few extra minutes of driving to that store

The staff was helpful and very informative. However, a clerk informed my child they needed to put his mask. We were checking out and he just pulled it down. Not even for a second. I did not even get a chance to tell him to put it back on. I was not happy with that. I was annoyed because he is 5 and autistic. It is my job to tell my kid what to do. Not the clerk at Petco. I understand that masks need to be worn, but they should not be correcting children.

Went to buy something it showed they had online but they didn't. Store employee said the online thing lies, luckily they had another deal I took advantage of. Everyone was nice.
