I have been shopping at this location for a lot of years. I really like the variety they offer. This floral Department is most amazing really bailed me out a very special time with something more amazing than what my florist had dropped the ball on. Great quality in the meat and seafood section as well. Met a new night manager this evening when I was in named Mike who. I think was from another store. I hope he stays around. He was kind and courteous. I appreciated his help.. The way I was treated by him made me feel truly like a valued customer. keep up the good work Mike you’ve got great people skills.

Great selection and overall experience, but the produce really falls short. I often see spoiled produce out. The quality and maintenance of the section just isn’t good. But, just like any other 3 star experience, it’s very hit or miss. Sometimes it’s great, and depending on when you go, there could be no issues. Consistency is key. This is still my go-to grocery store, so I go a lot. If it’s close enough, go to the one across town. If not, try to go when they’ve just restocked.

I had a horrible experience in this Kroger. It was only my third time visiting this store. I came through self checkout to scan my items and noticed the water I was purchasing was leaking. I notified Shelia, the Kroger self checkout employee of this, and was about to run and get another pack when she walked up on me and said "Keep Scanning! YOU NOT GO HOLD MY LINE UP!". I was the only person in self checkout so there was no line but I had to take a step back because she was so close to me and very hostile. Her tone was disrespectful. Shelia continued to be disrespectful during my scan telling me at one point when I was reviewing one item "Hurry Up!" And mumbling under her breathe and at one point she said "Don't come at me!". WOW KROGER! This was the nastiest most disrespectful employee ever. You really should check Shelia's behavior because she should not be approaching customers hostile and rude like that. Some people may react aggressively. That's not cool. I contacted corporate to report her behavior. Also, while reporting Shelia's behavior to the supervisor she walked over and said "It's all on camera!". Dear Shelia. Your nasty rude ignorant comments are not on camera because the manager Hal Holley stated the camera doesn't pick up audio. And I'm sure you know that. Hal Holley the manager said "Oh she's always been so nice". Mr. Holley that's irrelevant. Her behavior was GROSSLY OFFENSIVE to me. I can only speak to how she treated me. If you cared about her Mr. Holley you would let her know in these times we live in being so nasty hostile and rude with customers may not be the smartest thing to do.

So ok it's not all bad some of the people who work there are nice some aren't it saturday march 30 2024 at night I went to get gas and their was this guy working their and maybe it was just me but he had a poor attitude he was mean and I think he stole a cent from me I counted and I thought I had 6 dollars 26 cents but when he added 6.26 on register he forgot a penny that was on the tray once I told him he said it was still 6.26 and I think he was saying he forgot to count the penny on the tray but it seem like he didn't see the penny on the tray until I told him their was another penny on the tray I ask him if he was sure he also counted that penny to he said yes and I wasn't sure if I miss counted the money before I gave it to him for gas in my car after he said he counted that penny to I found that suspicious I was going to pump my gas but I changed my mind and I got my money back or I got my money back except for the one cent he might've taken and went to another gas station

My turkey dinner I ordered 2 weeks ago to pick up today was frozen. Today is Wednesday and I have a frozen 12 lb. Turkey for tomorrow. The write up says it is ready to eat and of course it is not.

The Kroger on 51 is horrible. I have made several comments to management over the years and nothing ever happens. I even called corporate once and as any large organization they were dismissive and told me to contact the manger. This used to be a great store but under current management it's dirty, shelves have been bare, staff don't smile or are not overly helpful, and watch out for the ones getting online orders because they will literally run you over and never say excuse me or acknowledge their running into your cart. They also take the whole isle. I met former staff at the other Kroger across the interstate and they each sppke of how bad management was and moved to another store. I hate having to go there and put this particular store on par with many people's attitudes on Wal Mart. Lastly during peak shopping hours and people lined up 10 and 12 deep they only open 4 self check out on each side of the store with one maybe 2 check out lines.

The store looked clean a d maintained but there were a lot of bare spots on the shelves. It is probably more common issue today than in the past with higher prices due to drought and supply chain issues. Otherwise, I was able to get in and out quickly and with items I needed.

I was there working My order for my job , And I was treated badly By the night manager due too that I was unable to complete my order resulting in me not getting paid the full amount! I’ll make sure to not go back ever again And to let friends and family know and to tell their friends To not shop here!

It’s always clean and organized when I shop at this Kroger. The staff is polite, many of them I’ve seen there over the past few years. They always have fresh flowers, coming in a variety cute bouquets at varying prices. There’s also a good selection of potted plants.In terms of food, the meat, veggies and fruit are always fresh.

I shopped there this past Saturday nice store supervisor and nice cashier especially the one named Kecia she was so kind to me when she saw a gentleman getting out of hand. Her supervisor came and he acknowledged her work. The older gentleman was very rude but she solved the problem other than that itsca great place to shop.

I love this Kroger on hwy 51 in Madison, Miss it's near my home.i goes to them & they have some very good value like buy one get one.digital coupons I download & etc.this place has sushi place where they sell sushiAlso.they have fresh fruit & vegetables.they also have a good.bakeryThey have a place where you can eat at.they have a cafeteria where you can buy food.you can eat there or take it with you.this place is also where you can get gas at&fill up your car.all&all.this is my favorite Kroger to go to.go here.you won't be disappointed.

Store is always a mess, and is forever riddled with empty shelves. No matter what time of the day, what day of the week, what week of the month. It's been like this since well before lockdowns. Years in fact. The store across the interstate is far superior. Go there!

I am handicapped and in a wheelchair. There was a young man that brought me a power chair so I could shop, and that was kind of him. Unfortunately when I went in the store and went to the deli counter to be served, first I was ignored. Then the lady behind the counter did not ask me if I could be helped, she just barked at me what is your order. At that point I did not want to disturb her anymore until I was able to pick my meat up from the deli counter. I was looking for their cold soup section in the deli department and I asked one young man and he did not have a clue and he told me to go to the deli department again and ask the lady that was kind of rude where it was. I did not do that because she was extremely busy. I asked someone that was about 6 ft away from the deli department that was handling produce if he knew where it was. And he said that that wasn't his Department he had no idea where it was to go ask the lady in the deli. And again I did not because I did not want confrontation. She barely had time to cut the meat that I purchased. Then she was continuing to bark the same line to everybody that stood in front of her can you give me your order very short very Gruff. I went there because it was easy accessibility to the store. The Kroger that I live a mile and a half from in Jackson rarely has a power chair available. So I drove about 10 miles out of my way so I would be able to shop. Customer service in this store is very poor. I really did want to tell them if they hate their job so much that they're rude to their customers that they should find a job that they like or that they don't have to do customer service.

Nothing special about Kroger's. I am disliking any store that forces the customer to use self checkout.No cashier's at all.We are the customer so why do we have to pay them and do THEIR jobs too!?!? And the one or two people that are monitoring the numerous self checkout stations always get mad if you ask them to scan and bag your groceries and some have even refused.

Waited to get shrimp for 15 min at the seafood department. When I finally got tired of waiting I asked someone to help in seafood. I was told the guy in seafood is on lunch and won't be back for 30 min. Now before I went to ask someone I was ignored and looked over when trying to ask for help. My household will not be shopping at this Kroger's anymore. I will be letting others know.

The biggest grocery store in the area, but the worst service. The workers are nice enough, but they shut down both self checkouts earlier and earlier each time I go - doesn’t matter if there is a line backed up to the middle of the store. They wait weeks to restock basic items. Seriously needs new management. It only gets worse.

May 16th @ 2:45 pm I had a fender bender. My location was the South west corner. I was directly in front of 2 kroger cameras. My dilemma is the G.M. said the camera didnt film the accident and now I have a damaged bumper. No proof available for my insurance company 😡. Do anybody care ?

Mr Josh Cherry was eager to correct my "pick up" order I placed online when it was not filled accurately. He spent the necessary amount of time with me so to make sure we found a replacement for the items that found to be out of stock. Goings as far as to walk the isles with me and check for possible back stock. It was nice to have someone focus on the resolving the issue I had completely before moving on to their next task. So many times I've had associates leave for some other reason and never return. Or accept a call and have me stand their while they talk to whoever. Whatever the case, Mr Cherry got me squared away in a timely manner and did so with confidence, courtesy, and quickly! Now your mileage may vary but I can say that I won't hesitate to use Krogers pick up service in Madison on 51 knowing they have people who can and will correct any errors. And that means something seeing as I Live in Vicksburg making my drive to the store and home a 2 hour tip at min! #REALPERSONREVIEW #NOTINCENTIVISED

I left my house early to take my son to get his check cashed at the money center at Kroger on 51 in Madison. It says they open at 7am. Even on the Money Center site it says 7am. They don't open until 8am according to the lady that was standing there in the money center like she was working. So either they need to fix the times or their employees just don't want to work. But, that is a running theme right now where people would rather collect a check and make our taxes go up then earn a living.

I usually have a pretty great experience here. I prefer going here than other stores. This store is clean and the employees are beyond helpful and so very kind. They will take the time to talk with you and show you around. IYA helped my husband and I out and there was no reason to at all. She's great!I have only have had 1 bad experience and it was at night with an older short haired blondish lady!Other than that! 5 stars! Thank you for all that you do!
