trash cans by the entrance SMELL SO BAD in the mornings. I almost threw up on my way to work because the smell lingered in my nose. I had to drive with my window down to get the unbearable smell out. And I do NOT have a weak nose, I work in healthcare and smell all types of substances ALL the time.

Good produce, easy check out, and they had the whole uncut multi grain loaf of bread I like.

Constantly overcharged, have to wait long periods at desk for refund. Never anyone there. If you do not check your sales receipt, you are definitely losing money. They are now price gouging people to death . Celery last week. 1.68, this week 2.29. Every single week there is an overall increase in price. Deli Manger, rudest person you will ever meet. Check.out how many billions they have. I use to enjoy going to Kroger, now I hate it. If I were not an old lady and Kroger is close, I would definitely go somewhere else.

I had just finished ringing up my own groceries ( by my choice I went through self checkout) as I was leaving the lady (older/heavyset/gray shoulder length hair ) says you’re welcome…. I never said anything to her. Why would she say that to someone. I believe she felt I should have said thank you to her……she did nothing for me I rang up my groceries and bagged them. I know she was being rude. I will shop elsewhere from now on!

I have had a pricing issue probably half the times I've shopped there recently. Today I scanned a pear, which I remembered to be $1.79/lb on sale, and set it down on the scale. It rang up 1.99. I thought maybe I misremembered the price and maybe it was each vs per pound. Went back tp produce. It was in fact 1.79 per lb. Found a scale. The pear weighed .5 lbs. Decided I would try to get it fixed for a change instead of deciding it wasn't worth the time. No one was at customer service at 10:20 on a Saturday morning. This same visit I clipped a digital coupon. Didn't fix the price. The clerk checked my app I done everything right it just didn't apply. She adjusted the price. This happens all the time and I do not recall EVER having a discrepancy in my favor. Most of us don't have time to audit each item of our grocery bill. Shop at Kroger to your detriment. I'll drive the extra mile to Walmart; they are cheaper on everything so even if they screw up a price it can't be worse than Kroger and I'll save money.

Would like to not be treated with disdain anytime I need deli meat.

Their pick up is a disaster. Twice I've been charged for items they didn't give me. Called them and got the "well ma'am we don't see the item on your order." It sure is. I have the receipt that says you charged me. Guess you have to call the 1 800 number and ask for a refund. Extremely rude staff. Go some where else to shop.

My mother placed an order a week in advance for a cake for my 21st birthday and they completely did the opposite of what she asked for. The color, details and everything was wrong not to mention the writing was horrible and they placed it in a small box so all the icing is smudged. It is absolutely ridiculous and I completely understand not wanting to work a Sunday but I do it every week at my job. Get over yourself and if you don’t like your job get a different one. Terrible service!!!

Fairly good experiences here. Pick up is great from here compared to hwy 51, but when shopping in store the stock on refrigerated foods tends to be low.

Refused to accept my ID because it was out of state. Gladys was incredibly rude and enjoyed exercising her authority. Her suggestion was to get a brand new driver's license everytime I travel somewhere. Just brillant...

Worst customer service I have ever witnessed, along with rude, disrespectful cashiers!

This Kroger is way better than the one one hwy 51 in Madison. Always have my things in stock majority of the time and much more and it seems faster than the other one. When I need specifics that this store sells otherwise I go to Walmart and Costco. This Kroger is good.

Went in tonight, did self checkout, proceeded to scan printed manufacturers coupons and was told by two employees that Kroger does not accept "coupons printed on paper" they did apologize and explained that they are not suppose to take them. Have always been able to use manufacturer coupons at this location, voided all of our groceries and will take our business and our coupons to Walmart.

OK still a bad experience in the past but overall a ggod place to shop * old review* Premium price over the Walmart just .5 miles away. Worth it if the service was better. Not sure if it's a new manager or just a bad day but NOT WORTH paying extra to shop here. Dealt with three employees, 2 mangers, that were clueless in customer service. Maybe time for a management change?

I traveled for miles because the other store was out of the products just to get there and find that they were out also. I asked the Manger (Mr. Dixon), who was stocking in a different department, did they have any more of the product I was looking for. He stopped what he was doing and walk to the front to checked then came back and went to the freezer to get it. Although a work was there he could've sent him but he went the extra mile to check and brought them out. I give him 5 star for a job well done toward me a customer and towards the worker who he could've sent. However, I have to rate 1 star so you will read it to the end.

Went today to pick up a prescription I dropped off the day before. Upon arrival I was told it was going to be 10 to 15 minutes. This has become the new scripted answer given upon arrival. This was the 5th or 6th time in a row I have been told this .It doesn’t matter when script was called in or dropped off. Two days later always 10 to 15 minutes, please come back later. No more Walgreens or Costco is looking great. Bye bye.

Tara at customer service desk proceeded to carry on a conversation with a coworker, rather than acknowledging the customers she had waiting in her line. I’ve worked customer service my whole life, and that just upsets me the most when employees get away with stuff like that!

We have shopped at Kroger for the past 28 years, but I shall never shop there again. I explained to the arrogant little man as I entered that I could not wear a mask for medical reasons and that the MS law gave such an exemption. He informed me that Kroger had no exempltions--which means that I am expected to harm my heath by wearing a mask, just to please Kroger officials. If the store does not care about its customer's health, I shall not shop there again. There are a number of people having health conditions which exempts them from safely wearing a mask--such as preganacy, COPD, emphysemia, asthma, shortness of breath, cardiovascular disease, Lyme disease, etc. It is shameful that you treat your customers in this manner.

Yes I must say I was visiting here from Indianapolis Indiana ask where was the nearest Kroger store they sent me there what a beautiful Kroger store much more nicer than any Kroger store there is in Indianapolis Indiana I was very pleased with the cleanest the customer service the friendliness the hospitality and by the way I've worked for Kroger's for 34 years you guys are a prime example of a Kroger should represent you should be the face of the Kroger stores around the country as far as I'm concerned I will be coming back in the summer I will make it my point to stop by Kroger and do my shopping so you guys there at Kroger there in Ridgeland continue to keep up the good work

I am very disappointed that Kroger does not require their customers wear face masks and/or make the very narrow isles one way. I have been a regular Kroger, Colony Crossing customer but will now be shopping at grocery stores that require masks. Wish ya’ll would help your customers feel safe during this time.

Rating this Kroger 5 stars solely based on one worker going above and beyond. This man, whose name I wish I’d gotten, saw that I was looking for a certain coffee creamer and asked me which one I was looking for. First, he went to the back to check for me without my asking him to. Then, after he didn’t find one, I was checking out to leave when he found me and brought me the last one. This let me know that after initially looking, he went back to look a second time when he could have just let me think they were out of them. Best experience I’ve had at either of the Krogers in Madison!!!!

This Store is tiny! It is so frustrating to shop here because the isles are narrow, everyone is bumping into each other and they cram so many goods into such a small store which serves many people who live in the surrounding neighborhoods. The staff is great!

I didnt know the store close at 11pm. Had an older black lady (wearing glasses), at the self checkout who was chewing gum, got smart with me and asked, "Sir, did you know that we closed at 11? I went on the intercom and let everyone know that we are closed at 11? You need to hurry the hell up." I was in the restroom. That's not customer service. That's just plain rude and ugly. And does Kroger allow their employees chew gum on the job? Kroger needs to fire that old black lady for being plain rude. At least let me check out before you say something smart! And spit that stupid gum out! Geez! So unprofessional! I will definitely won't come back. Dont shop late at night if she's there!

Not someone that favors grocery shopping. The Madison Kroger helps take some of thr pain out of it. Well staffed and friendly.

This Kroger is a bit of a madhouse. The layout is pretty standard and the inside is a bit outdated, but they have the things most people would need. Just be careful in the parking lot as there are frequently carts all over and the crosswalks are ignored.

Fresh sushi, pharmacy, deli (best fried chicken in town ), floral, seasonal items, organics, kids toys, baby items (including clothing), gas pumps, order online and delivery to your car available, reasonable prices with great online coupons and excellent ones via snail mail after registering online. 10 for $10 sales on lots of items almost every week. Clean public restrooms. Handicap accessibility and parking with wide aisles.

I arrived in the Madison Ridgeland area about 3 weeks ago and was assuming my experiences would mirror previous ones with other pharmacies throughout the Southeast as I travel for work.I could not neglect to post a fabulous review for Chad and his team at the Kroger Pharmacy in Madison. Chad went over and beyond the Customer experience I was expecting and definitely surpassed any I have been associated with for many years. There would be only one Pharmacy I would receive my prescriptions if I were a full time resident in the Jackson Madison and Ridgeland area.Spencer Hood

Clicklist pickup is a nightmare. You have to wait and wait in the parking lot. The employees have horrible attitudes. People who aren't here for Clicklist park in the Clicklist spots. It's just terrible; won't do this again.

I always enjoy going to Kroger. Everyone was very nice and personable. In my opinion their meats are the best in Madison. I miss John Bell Crosby.
