We got a new pup after 3.5 years since we had to say goodbye to the best dog that has ever existed! Dr. Priestas was amazing with our old dog, so the obvious choice was to go back to her and the staff at Animal Health Center of Madison. We took our new GSP in yesterday for his 12 week boosters and check up, and it was like seeing old friends again! Lots of hugs and catching up! There are a lot of great choices of veterinarians in our area, not even sure there’s a “bad” one. We have always been 100% satisfied with the care that Dr. Priestas and the staff have shown us, so no reason to change! Tucker loved them also!

We went to the vet for a surprise visit, my Chihuahua had hurt her eye. The triage vet and assistant Katie were so awesome with her. We usually have vet anxiety, but they made us feel very comfortable. I was very thankful for the peace that I had with this visit.

In July 2020 we found a stray kitten & being new to the area & during a Pandemic I wasn't sure who to take him to because he was clearly injured but we definitely made the right choice - his leg was broke in 2 places & he had infection in the bone so we went on a weekly basis for 6 to 7 weeks, the Vet & techs would call me & give me updates, super friendly & genuinely cared!They also have a boarding service that we've used twice & this past weekend I called because I wasn't sure I was going to make it by their cut off time & they were willing to stay over - you don't find that everyday, so needless to say we are truly pleased we chose these guys!

We brought a stray cat in to get checked out. They were very helpful. We were trying to decide if we were going to keep here. The physician, (I can't remember his name) was very helpful and to so much time talking with us about vaccinations and health of her. We are going to keep her . Thank yo animal health center

I am very thankful for the people who take care of our little one Copper when he stays during boarding. They make sure he gets plenty of love!!!The veterinarians are knowledgeable and caring towards Coppers overall health.

Everyone is so attentive and caring. Recently, I had to board my dog for an extended period of time; I wouldn’t feel comfortable boarding him elsewhere. My babies have received care at this facility for the past four years; however, one has crossed the rainbow bridge now.

Very reasonably priced, but you’ll indeed sacrifice the quality of care for your pooch. I’ve taken my pup here twice for daycare and both times she has come back with cuts on her face. The 2 stars is for the good customer service (front desk) and the fact she was at least alive when I picked her up. Lesson learned, don’t skimp on the quality of care no matter the cost. You’ll regret it!

We had to put my precious doggy down yesterday because of his quality of life. I had him since he was 5 months. He was almost 17. A wonderful long life, but it was time. Still so very sad.The Animal Health Center of Madison was not only professional in helping with the process, but they were very thoughtful and kind. They provided everything I needed for a home burial as well.I highly recommend them, not only for this sadly but needed at times method, but also for their love and care of healthy pets.I have one other dog that we take their for vaccinations, health and sick visits, and they love on him and treat him as their own whenever I bring him in. They are a blessing to our family in so many ways. Thank you Animal Health Center of Madison!

Our visit was short and simple and the staff were awesome at explaining every step. Dr. Peterson was amazing with handling my baby and explaining what we needed/didn’t need. I have always recommended this health center to all my friends because of the service!

All of the staff was super friendly!! Bella’s 1st visit was very physically uncomfortable, but had to be done for an accurate diagnosis. Even after a painful exam, she was SO relaxed & comfortable withDr. Weatherly & the assistant! Amazing!!

I'm always satisfied with the care given to my pets. I brought a homeless dog in, Ella, who I had recently adopted. They gave her gentle loving care. After her examination, the veterinarian, Dr. Peterson, spent time with me, answering all of my questions, as if I was the only person with a dog that she had to see. She impressed me with her genuine concern and interest. Thank you Dr. Peterson.

I dropped out doodle off for the weekend on Friday morning when I picked up on Monday morning he was soaking wet, had not had a bath like they said he would but they told me to come back that afternoon around 3 and he would get a bath. Now why not bathe him in the 3 days that you had him. They charged me for them to give him his medicine and he clearly had not taken it when I picked him up. He was so wet and nasty when I picked him up I had to bathe him as soon as we got home. I will never board any of my dogs here again and I don’t encourage anyone else do so either.

Always helpful with my puppy. Fully trust the doctor to do what’s best for me and my pup. The rest of the staff is always so kind and helpful on the phone. And the girls that help with boarding are so kind with Ranger and he enjoys going to see them

I’ve taken my pets here for decades…seriously. Since at least 2000, they have cared for my numerous cats. The whole staff are always welcoming and truly care for the pets. Dr Peterson is so thorough and always listens to my concerns and answers every question I have.

We have taken our babies here si ce they were brought home!! We love Dr Priestess , Heather and other ladies upfront and the vet techs. We went through some rough times with our youngest who could have died from an AID disease. Today she is a happy, healthy, chatty, playful loving baby girl who had ALL her teeth removed to get this way.. she eats pate and pureed home baked chx when I make it!!!

Make sure you know details about items such as blankets/towels that you leave with your pet when boarding. When I picked up my fur baby from boarding/grooming my dog’s towel was missing and I asked where was towel that was dropped off and was told they didn’t know which towel belonged to her because they have so many towels/blankets. I don’t know how her towel was not kept with her while she was there but good thing I was able to describe details.

Dr. Peterson has worked with me to get Marley back on track after several procedures and does follow up calls just to make sure that I understand everything and the process. She is extremely knowledgeable and truly cares about our fur babies.

Really like this vet clinic. They got my cat in for an exam very quickly without my having to drop him off and leave him there. Dr. Priestas was professional, knowledgable, compassionate and thorough. There are many wonderful vets in the Madison Ridgeland area but this clinic also has longer, more convenient hours. Everyone there is friendly and I appreciated the follow-up text checking in to see how my cat was doing after the visit.

I took my cat in for a checkup and annual shots. Everyone was incredibly friendly and they are reasonably priced! I also like how they are open late everyday. Definitely would recommend going to the Animal Health Center of Madison!
