The only negative is that it's simply to crowded and not enough cashiers. The waiting line is were people get into fights and arguments. If you had more cashiers you would have less strife.

Had what we needed and even found some of it on clearance at a great price. One item did not ring up with the clearance price but the cashier in self checkout was very friendly and help us with the issue and got it resolved.

There isn't as many amenities at Louisville as there is at Philadelphia. But this is a great store. Always clean and well taken care of.

Every time I go in Walmart I hit their clearance isles and their in department clearance sales. It's a great budget saver and a smart way to save on those extra wants or sudden or not normal need that would otherwise possibly break your wallet! However, I also seem to have issues anytime I have to ask if an item is in stock or it's location in the store. It seems more times then not, I'm automatically told that they are out. Then upon further looking on my own I will either find the item in its own department and it had just been moved to a new location in it or I will later find it in a different department or moved to the front around their registers. Their cashier's, some of them anyway, will either not smile, barley talk or talk only when spoken to, which in my opinion is not only not very good customer service, it's not very representing of our state, the hospitality state. With a name like that all our public employees have a duty to uphold it. You never know where that next customer is coming from and as big as Walmart is that says a lot about us as a state as a whole

This is my hometown Walmart. The folks here are mostly helpful with a few exceptions. The store is usually pretty busy during the day, but you'll find early shopping and checkout fairly easy to get through. The pharmacy is usually backed up but the people are nice and helpful which I think is why they're always busy.

Was terribly harassed by a group of employees because of my service dog although I had both of our ids in plain sight to avoid any issues. I have stage 4 cancer and a trained service dog. After explaining the dog was a service animal, showing ID, and answering their snide comments I walked away. I saw a male employee. Asked if he was a manager. He said yes. I then Explained in near tears what had occurred. He said he would handle it then walked to the crowd of employees that had now gathered all talking about me and was laughing with them. I leave the house to get groceries usually once a month. It’s such a chore for me. I left today without even buying the main things I needed. Was too upset. It’s hard shopping knowing you are the topic of the day. I was so humiliated.

Being the weekend I thought it may be too crowded or perhaps short staffed. However, while the crowd was steady I was able to find exactly what I needed and with relative ease. The store appeared to be fully staffed and the service team were exceptionally helpful. Checking out was a breeze. Thank you Walmart in Louisville for such a wonderful shopping experience!

Previously left a 1 star, but it seems like the store in now being managed better as its better organized, staff is very nice and pleasant. Cashiers working several lanes instead of just one! This place has improved a lot over the last year and a half.

I got really fresh, cooked food from the deli section. And the best wedges I've ever had from a Walmart. I think the lady working the demo was training someone but she was really really pleasant.

The pharmacist Hilda was rude, very loud and refusing to help. She partly filled my prescription and want to talk to the doctor before she completed the order that the doctor had given her to fill because she asked why did he wanted to give me that type medications.And what had happen for the doctor to give me the medicine. I.called my doctor office 4 times asking someone.to talk to her to complete my prescription because I was in very severe pain. And her wanting to talk to a doctor during clinical hours caused my blood pressure to raise, more stress, and anxiety . This had been going on all afternoon and after 3 call to the pharmacy Hilda finally said she had it ready. This caused me extra expense. So if you see her run. If the doctor order the medicine why not follow it. Why tell a suffering person you not getting the medicine until I talk to doctor because you questions his judgment on medicine. 😡😡😡😡😤

Staff is always polite and great customer service. Don't know what is going on with Walmarts pricing and their new buying in bulk program but it's making some of your customers angry. i.e. toilet paper, they have omitted the 6pck of any brand selections and gone with a 9, 12, or 24pck. Their prices have increased and their slogan of "slashing price's" is getting to be a J O K E! This is NOT a SAM'S WHOLESALE it's a Wal-Mart Superstore!

I love this Walmart. It’s very clean and the employees are usually nice and helpful. Last weekend, however, my experience was not positive. I came in late on a Saturday night (I normally don’t go to stores too close to closing but I had gotten my check and had worked that whole day and needed to cash it) I went to customer service and asked the lady if they cashed checks that late. She said yes but she wouldn’t cash mine because her “register didn’t have enough money and it was 2 minutes before closing” it was actually 10 minutes to closing and if you offer a service until closing that service should be provided until doors are locked. This is the only bad experience I’ve had there but this lady caused me to have to drive all the way to Starkville just because she was lazy and disrespectful

Plus this store was well stock and very Clean store and this store had Excellent prices on Everything in the store and a lot cheaper prices than any other store out there. I was very impressed by The Employees and The prices and by Everything in this Store 👏

They never really wanna help you. They make you feel like your bothering them in their house. I thought they were at work; my bad. Can't put things on a shelf where they go. Prices never match and they DON'T like putting things on sale no more than 10 cents. They're the worst Walmart I've been in.

Matthew Wisecup(Manager) and Courtney Brooks(HR) are running the place into the ground. If something is not done in the next few years I can see store 183 becoming somewhere no one will want to shop. I highly recommend using a different Walmart for your needs.

It has everything you could possibly want or need and some things you don't. Be careful in the parking lot. It being private property, Wal-Mart is not responsible for anything that happens on the property. Also, most of the security cameras are never working.

Not being from a small community just hetr visiting family it was somewhat of a culture shock. In our town we have the privilege ofv3 walmart super centers with fast checkouts each. We must have gone at a busy time, lines and a cart jam trying to get out of the store. Items, employees in general were good, just was a culture shock due to the size being only half if a regular super center.

Was in Louisville Ms try to pick up some shirts at Oak in Louisville Ms so stopped in the Wal-Mart there to get batteries for a couple of watches was told they could do nothing for me the watches were to " "expensive" I did get a battery for one and the other one was self winding. The 3 ladies that helped me out there in the jewelry department were fantasic! They went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer.
