This in general is one of my favorite stores ever. The one in Starkville, Mississippi; however, I'm no longer able to say this about. They had a sale on shoes. Their sign said 60% off. After searching for over an hour I finally found a pair my brothers size and WOW the tag on the shoes reaf $10. When I got to the register the "new" cashier didn't think that was the right price and turned to the other register to ask the manager of the store, who asked to see the shoes. As soon as the cashier took the shoes to her, the manager very loudly hollers and looks straight at me with a nasty look on her face and says " Um, NO mam, I don't think so!" She snatched off the tag and quoted a price of 37 dollars pointing out that was after the 60% off. I have never been so embarrassed in my life! She is very lucky I didn't go over her head and make here honor their sticker price being I bought the exact same shoes the next morning in Louisville for $30. Still not Starkville sticker price but definitely not the price that Starkville's rude manager hollered from one register to the other either. Needless to say, if they come to be the last Dirt Cheap still standing and the only place around to get whatever it is I may need, I'LL GLADLY GO WITHOUT BEFORE SPENDING ONE PENNY IN THAT PLACE AS LONG AS I LIVE!!! I would suggest to any others to travel to the nearest town, other then Starkville, to visit the store. They are located just about everywhere and it will be worth the gas spent in getting there when you figure your total in store savings despite the gas it took you to get there.

Their store was better organized that Starkville. It's still Dirt Cheap, but I didn't feel like I was rummaging through a dumpster like in the Starkville store.

The employees are very friendly, they have went above and beyond for me many times answering questions and finding what I am looking for. 80%of the items they sell are at outstanding, affordable "Dirt Cheap" prices. If you haven't been I highly recommend you give it a try.

A little high on things they say 50percent off but then you look and they have things you know the true price of it and they have it marked up 3 times what it really is. Sometimes you get a good deal but be careful. If you wonder how much it really is look it up on wal mart or k mart then decide

It was horrible at the Louisville Ms store.The price are outrageous, store is nasty and unorganized. The man that was working on the floor. For godsakes dont ask him for help , cause he could say was yrs the prizes or high email corp office. I finally found a set if full size sheets aftet lookinh for 45 mins I could not find the price he said not for sure there for sale. And i almost push my buggy to the and left.Dont think I'll be going to that store.

If you don’t like to dig then Dirt Cheap is not the place for you. They have new stock weekly. Bargains galore, it’s up to you to be a smart shopper and find them! Love, love ,love this dirt cheap....

This store is one of the dirtier stores I have been to. There is no organization everything is just randomly placed. Good luck figured out prices and %off. Mostly women's shoes, clothes, and broken junk.

Yes in the dirt not so cheap I can go to regular store and pay the same price for a brand new never used rasor verses going to dirt cheap band and buy one from them that has been used

Horrible customer service attitudes are terrible if they focus more on taking care of their customers then they do trying to profile people and characterize every single person that walks in there then they might have better customer service they need to focus on their customers first and foremost
