I’ve been going here for years. Most of the women who work at the pharmacy (including the manager that works morning shift) are always seem to be in very bad moods and are extremely rude to customers. My sister, my friend and I have all had the same problems with this specific pharmacy. They’re also VERY unorganized, my sister went in for muscle relaxers three times in two days, the first two times they said they had no idea when it would be ready and they couldn’t give her a time. They were very rude both times. The third time she went in (the next day) they informed her it had been ready since the 1st time she came up to get it and they don’t know why it was not given to her. The manager was very nasty about it instead of apologetic. It just blows my mind how rude and nasty they are every single time. If you hate your job that much that you are hateful to customers who are being nothing but polite and just trying to get their medication, maybe find a new job. The pharmacy works are just miserable. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

The pharmacist is rude as hell, the staff are not nice when speaking to you! My experience with the pharmacist even month is the same lady and she is AWFUL! Not helpful and very condescending when speaking to you as well! Super unprofessional. Have been going for 8+ years there, ans when they say "oh, you'll receive a text,... servay said, that's a lie!", because I NEVER get a text when it's ready!

This pharmacy is so unethical. The day I run out of meds and put in for refill the head pharmacist calls me to tell me they can't fill it anymore because my doctor is over 40 miles away. Just to let you know I can't just stop taking these pills it would cause very bad health issues. Then I explain to her I need them I can't just stop taking them. She said I can't help you. I said can you please give emergency refill 5 pills at least till I can find another pharmacy to refill. She said no. Try walmart lol well I told her it would've been nice of you to tell me this before I ran out not on the day of. So luckily I found a local pharmacy and will NEVER use walgreens again for any of our families prescriptions.

Long Beach WG Pharmacy staff lacks professionalism, empathy, and manners. They're rude. People are not coming to a pharmacy to get meds because they're well. People are sick and needing meds. Not your attitudes. The pharmacy techs here are in the wrong career field. The people working at the gas station across the street act more professional than this bunch that's been hired to be "pharmacy techs." I would have never treated customers the way these "techs" do when I was a tech. Disgusting behavior.

Literally have been coming here for three years. The new guy I just talked to In the pharmacy was the most unprofessional and rude person I have dealt with in months. He should be fired and It should be done immediately. If you allow your employees to talk to customers the way that he talked to me then your store should be closed. It’s no wonder you have a 2 star review.

Having to wait multiple days to get 1 medication filled is ridiculous. 1st day told itll be 2 hours. I wait 4 and still not ready. Next day, I called and told itll be ready in 30 min. 2 hours later, still waiting. And all i keep getting is they are busy and ill get a text. Just a shame.

Worst pharmacy ever. I have finally had enough. You screw up my prescriptions every single time. I wish walgreens would shut this location down. Congratulations you can't put pills in a bottle. I encourage everyone unhappy to file with the better bussiness bureau

Worst pharmacy I have ever been to the ladies are the most rude people I've ever dealt with! I show up at 1:25 to pick up my prescription which was already filled I just needed to pick it up, and because there was a guy in front of me getting his prescriptions they would not fill mine take it now I live all the way in Pass Christian and they told me they're closed for lunch and would not fill my prescription. I would just rather have my prescription switch to another pharmacy now because that's ridiculous to make me have to wait another 30 minutes for them to go to lunch when I was already there before the time that they were supposed to close.

This pharmacy is horrible. Staffing is horrible and does not mirror the community. 4 employees working, cussing, laughing about customers after they leave. 1 person working the counter, “rude”, while 2 others stand and talk, f this and that, right in front of customers. This pharmacy use to be great, and it represented the diversity of the community. Now it’s completely opposite of the Long Beach demographics. Who’s doing the hiring?? Trashy employees on a Friday night.

Terribly frustrated with this place. Pharmacy never answers. I was on hold for 49 min… no worries they still never answered. And I called them AT 9 AM which according to the messaging system that I can recite word for word now because of the amount of times I’ve had to call. Also, I dropped off a prescription THEY SAID THEY HAD IT IN STOCK. went back to get it the next day and they had no idea why I was talking about. Important meds. Wasted an entire day of my time, Walgreens. I WILL be switching pharmacies as a result of multiple situations. Get better. Do your job maybe while you’re at it

Worst pharmacy experience I’ve ever had. They clearly cannot meet the demands of taking on former Winn Dixie Pharmacy customers. My husband tried to pick up our kids’ rXs (two common antibiotics and one common oral steroid) last night. After talking with a tech and trying to get them for 30+ minutes the tech told him they’d just text when they were ready. They didn’t text at all the remainder of the day. When I called to check the next day they still weren’t ready. I then stood in line for another 30+ minutes to pick them up only to find out they also somehow managed to lose a digital rX order for my daughter (the steroid). So I am calling her dr. now and having that sent to another pharmacy because I am done dealing with this nonsense.

Only giving 1 star just so I can review.They don’t deserve any.Do yourself a favor and shop local. Please.Choose Sartin’s , Loves , corner Pharmacy or any other family owed pharmacy for prompt service and zero wait time and much more importantly a meaningful/pleasant experience.Walgreens is not the only choice in the world, they are just the “Walmart” of prescriptions. Do everyone a favor and support local be more than just a number.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever had to deal with. The staff is horrible and rude. Angry at the customer because Walgreens is the epitome of “corporate greed.” It’s not the customers fault that they are buying up every pharmacy, yet can’t fill the medications. I didn’t ask to go to Walgreens. The only way they can get customers is to buy them from smaller, more efficient pharmacies! Will be changing all medications to a small pharmacy very soon!

I used to call this pharmacy prior to driving 45 mins away to ask if they had my medication in stock. Recently, they claim to have adopted a new policy preventing them from disclosing whether or not medication is in stock via phone. As instructed, I physically drive there with prescription in hand, only to be told that I live too far outside of the service area for them to fill it. Strange, because I previously had it filled there many times before. I guess some pharmacies just make the rules up as they go! The pharmacy tech was rude and unapologetic about the inconvenience. What a complete waste of my time and gas money. I plan on following up with corporate regarding their new policies and procedures.

If you are having issues filling prescriptions here, you should pivot to another pharmacy asap if you experience this. There is a 24/7 Walgreen's on 49 that you can move your script to in emergencies, not sure if this is a supply chain issue or just not enough workers to fulfill request, still highly concerning.

THE WORST PHARMACY EVER! Seriously awful! I will NEVER EVER use their pharmacy again. As far as the store I like the convenience, prices are higher than a larger store. You will always have to wait in line. The photo center is great. If you need a quick run in store instead of dealing with Walmart it’s a good option.

We made an appointment for our booster shots, online it lets you schedule them after 6pm. I received a phone call at 4:48pm at work letting me know that the person giving shots would not be able to give any shots after 6pm because that is when they go home, but if we got there before 6pm then we could receive our shots. I left work early and we got in line at 5:40pm, waiting. At 6:00, the woman working the register asked if any one was there for any shots. I raised my arm and said "us" and she looked right at me and then turned back and said "no one, we are done with shots!". We proceeded to say again "we are here for shots", to which she sighed and said "one for shots" which we corrected her and said "no two". To which she responded "did any one call you, we aren't doing shots after 6pm?" We told her yes but we have been here for over 20 minutes in line. They refused to take us since it was after 6pm. This is ridiculous, please get it together.

TERRIBLE service!!! Avoid this place at all costs! Never been here before, but wanted a flu shot...waited for 45 mins only to be told they were out of 'senior' flu shots. Young pharmacy technician who took my order just shrugged her shoulders. Pharmacist said "sorry," but he wasn't as sorry as i was. Also, while walking to/from the back of the store where the shots were being given, I noticed the store looked dirty and the shelves were disheveled. I'll never darken the door of this poor excuse of a pharmacy again!!!

The only reason they get a 2star and not a 1star is because the new pharmacist is amazing. I do not know his name. And everyone else that works in the pharmacy act like they just woke up and had a bad dream. Don't bring it to work peeps. Do your job. Be professional. Care about your name and the company's name.

I rarely write negative reviews. Walgreens in Long Beach MS is now refusing to fill pain medication prescriptions written by doctors if the daily quantity exceeds what the pharmacist thinks is appropriate. As of January 1, 2021 corporate Walgreens policy is to allow their pharmacists to oppose the doctors' order. I am close to someone, a cancer survivor, who is in chronic pain and was prescribed pain medication by a physician. Walgreens refused to fill the prescription, citing blanket bureaucratic FDA/CDC guidelines. We learned from Covid that both are politically active organizations who do not follow the real science.Blanket guidelines mean that responsible patients will be treated as if they are abusers. Patients are prescribed pain meds by their doctors to enable them to live reasonably normal lives.Other Walgreens pharmacists in the area told me they would have filled the prescription if the patient record showed adequate justification from a physician. To be fair our local pharmacist manager took the time to explain how timed release pain meds could be substituted for quick release type and she would have no problem filling the prescription in that case. However there are no timed pain meds that work as well as what is already prescribed.If your prescription is not honored ask to speak to the pharmacist manager to get more details about under what conditions the prescription can be filled. If they still refuse to fill it go to a different Walgreens. The opioid epidemic is being caused by irresponsible physicians and irresponsible patients, as well as black market and illegal sales, NOT by responsible physicians and responsible patients. Now in 2023 we are subjected to tons of drugs smuggled across the open border yet patients can't get prescriptions filled based on pharmacists opinions.I am giving our local pharmacist manager 4 stars for taking the time to explain her concerns about the particular drug in question and she showed she is truly concerned for the best patient outcome, but she is using politically motivated policy to step between a doctor and his patient. Her opinion means nothing. Pharmacists have no place overruling the opinion of the patient's doctor. The pharmacists duty is to fill prescriptions and dispense doctor ordered medication, they should have no right to refuse to dispense medications unless they witness EGGREGIOUS or illegal activity. In that case the store manager should intervene.

Just WOW. I guess I was 'spoiled' to actual customer care and compassion that came at the Memorial employee pharmacy for years, and then a mom-n-pop pharmacy for a few months before they closed. Still, no excuses. My first experience with Walgreens pharmacy in YEARS, and guess what?! It'll be my last. It's 8:30am in the drive-thru, and I was treated like I was a bother to the pharmacy staff. If ya'll have THAT much attitude when you're just starting your shift, you guys need to find another job. I read the Google reviews after my prescriptions had already been sent to your store. I thought, honestly, how bad could it be??? THAT BAD. The lack of professionalism that I experienced today was absurd. WALGREENS. MANAGEMENT. You're employing people that act like it's 3am at the local Waffle House. Maybe check into this, yeah?

Today my doctor's office called in several prescriptions for my child who tested positive for the flu. I brought him home and waited an hour before heading to the pharmacy. Once I arrived the girl at the counter just stated "they aren't ready" - ummmm so when will they be ready? She glared at me - and then said are you waiting, I said yes my child is sick and I need them, while nodding my head - she just continued to glare at me. I have never had rude treatment at Walgreens before, but I have learned to wait long periods of time for scripts. I asked what her problem was and she snapped, stating I was the problem. I asked for the manager and got a very meek pharmacist who when I logged my complaint just said "ok." The counter girl's name is Queen and she should not be in any customer service type job. I left my buggy full of needed items and called my provider (who by the way agreed that Walgreens in LB is the worst for prescriptions) and have had them call in the scripts to another provider in LB.
