One of the older ladies was very disrespectful towards me and my relationship one day. We went into her line for her to check us out and she only made eye contact with my fiancé the entire time she was scanning our groceries. She even made a smart remark after my fiancé accidentally hit his back against the shopping cart saying “oh you’re just hurting yourself all kinds of ways aren’t you?” I was instantly livid as i wholeheartedly believe that her words were a subtle jab at me as his fiancé. Also, I am a black woman in a relationship with a white man and we shop at this store pretty often so I was very upset that I had to experience the way she treated me. She also waited until the very end of the transaction to finally look at me and acknowledge that I was there and tells us both to have a great day. She never spoke to me or made eye contact with me until the end. Makes me want to stop shopping at the store and take my money elsewhere.

My family and I found Froogles by accident. We always shopped for drinks at Winn Dixie. We wanted to find a store close to Gaston Point. Driving all the way to Walmart, or going to different towns cost us so much gas. So one day we were coming from Winn Dixie and saw Froogles. I said, "I must be blind, because I never noticed the store!" So I went in; and the rest is history. The selections were neat and fresh! A man named Donny always took my meat orders. I ordered meat by the case. This was before covic! The prices were just in our budget. I even found out about other Froogles stores. The store in Bay Saint Louis has kind staff! The one in Gulfport was larger, but the Long Beach location was my favorite Froogles store. The staff is "ALWAYS" kind, professional, and very helpful! My son has autism, and the ladies would always help him when he shopped there. There were two ladies that always ask about him. One had dark hair, and the other lady had blonde hair. My son loves these two ladies. It has been about four years since I lived in Gulfport. I have to visit there soon. Maybe those ladies are still there. Thank you for your kindness!

K win Dixie in Long Beach. Mississippi already works there. They are fabulous. They are the best ever first off. Her name is Carrie. She is amazing. Everybody works in here is amazing and blessed. I like Froogels but the parking lot will break your car if you're not careful while dodging potholes. So the store itself isn't 5 star but I do like their prices. Selection is decent and well stocked. I like going there.Edit March 14, 2024 -- well, apparently, someone lost a car in the pot holes as you enter (a joke, it's ok, no car was lost:). The entry was recently closed, and major excavation work was done. The entry is newly paved, renovated, and pot hole free (well, they left a pot hole about 40 feet in to remind us what it used to look like, I guess. Haha, yes I'm grateful). Bring your cars on in without worry. Major thank you to whoever fixed this!!!!

The store was very easy to shop. The cashier was fast,friendly, and efficient. The manager was yelling at a cashier which i thought was unprofessional. Next time the manager should take them to the side.

Clean. I went for a turkey couldn't find one. So I asked it was in the standing freezer. Having a big sale. I bought a 22 lbs. Turkey for $16.00 . Go get yours. Happy Thanksgiving stay safe.

The staff are always very friendly here. I don't understand how they aren't a busier store than what they are. However, this is fine with me because it always ensures a pleasurable shopping experience! Their produce section is top notch...way better than any other local grocery stores...and at great prices too! Their deli/meat section is great and they are always ready to serve you and are available without having to hunt someone down or wait a long period of time. The employees know me and I know them, so this should tell you they have low turnaround and great staff. If you are looking for a nice hometown grocery store with fair prices and down to earth people, go here!!!

This is a wonderful grocery store. Prices are very reasonable. The meat selection is great and have a real butcher there. Sales are all the time there. Friendly staff and clean store.

This place is amazing. It's such a comfortable shopping experience everyone is willing to help. The manager Sheila is the kindest. If you are ever in the meat department and need help ask for Sweeney he will be happy to assist you with a smile. I will definitely be returning. 💕

They have some good deals here on certain items. They have mostly off brand products on the shelves. The store does not appear to be very clean, trash and dirt all over the floor. Flies in the produce, the produce did not look fresh or appealing. It was hot and did not smell pleasant . However they do have the best prices on little debbie snacks anywhere

Love Froogle for low prices on basics. This package for TP was 12 rolls for $4.54. their prices on a lot of common needs are low but cheese and dairy are the same or more as Walmart. They are also limited in variety.

This day Friday 13th I had the best experience with this store in Long Beach. Mr. Robert and Mr. Chris in the meat department accommodated me with my needs not only they were so kind and helpful!! I ask for the store manager Ms Sheila came which she listen to me with tearful eyes. That’s a manager with a big heart and care. I THANK FROOGELS FOR HAVING SUCH GREAT EMPLOYEES!! Didn't find what I was looking for, left and went to a competitive store chain and found multiple items cheaper and less per pound on items like chicken. I spent over a hundred dollars which froogels lost. Store condition chean but dated losing its appeal to the customer. Employees generally helpful once ask but didn't approach me to help me find items that possibly would have saved a sale. Overall opinion i wouldn't recommend them unless it was the only place open or they had a specific item I couldn't buy anywhere else.

There is a really sweet young woman who works here. She is the assistant store manager. She always stops whatever her job has her doing and helps me when ever I have a question or need help finding an item. She is very helpful, king, and productive. I've never met anybody who works quickly and efficiently as she does and is willing to go out of their way as much as her. She deserves a raise and a pat on the back! 😊😊 job well done Ms. Jennifer!!!

NOT FAMILY ORIENTED!!!! My husband who had our 5 year old and 2 year old with him paid for groceries and went to walk out the store when our newly potty trained 2 year old started yelling she had to go potty. He went to go back into the store where a female worker wouldn’t let him back in until he unloaded all the groceries first. Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE that a store worker would treat someone with two small kids that way.

This is like our Save a Lot back home. Like a lot of stores, some things are not as good of deals as others, but overall much cheaper than a premium grocery store. What pushed me to 5 stars were the beer prices. I have never seen beer anywhere near this cheap. Corona 12 pack bottles were 12.80. All the other stores charge 18 bucks and up. You could get an 18 pack of Corona bottles for 18 bucks here. It was bizarre. Most stores really screw you on 6 packs. Not here. Really amazing beer prices. 🍺

Have been here numerous times and would not recommend shopping there. Prices are overpriced by a lot on everything and most shelf items are nearly expired or expired, so check the dates on anything you buy there.

The store itself is great. Nice selection of items and prices are great. Have name brands and store brands. Store is very clean and well stocked. The produce looked fresh and meats were nice cuts. Im giving it 3 stars because of the rude Manager that was on duty on the night of Friday, June 26th 2020. We got to the store at 840 pm. As my wife and I entered, she (MOD) made it a point to tell us that they were closing in 20 minutes and that we needed to hurry. During our 25 minute time, she had to walk by us multiple times to basically tell us to "hurry up". And even do it over the intercom. We checked out at 9:05 pm. She acted as if we were personally turned her life upside down. That was very unprofessional and rude....especially for a manager.
