This location is often “out of items” but if I had to guess I would imagine the “in stock” products are still in one of the hundreds of boxes just stacked in the isles and around the store rather than the shelves.Clearly needs better management.

The store is trashy. No public restroom. Prices are not what they are posted as. I bought tea bags that were posted as $1.68 but were actually $2 and root beer that was posted as $4.25 but was actually $4.75. I know it's not a big difference, but had I known the tea bags were actually $2 I would have gone to Dollar Tree for them instead and Root beer is $3.88 at Walmart so had I known I was going to end up paying almost a full dollar I would have just gone to Walmart for it.

Every time I go to this DG there is an issue. Most of the time when I'd buy drinks (3/$9) the cashier wouldn't ring it up correctly until I said something. Twice they have tried to claim A&W wasn't included despite the sign clearly saying it was. I no longer buy drinks there. Last fall they had clearance items outside and a big box of balls next to them. All the summer items were 75-90% off so I asked what % the balls were off. The cashier said they were 90% off. At the register they rang up as full price followed by the manager saying they were 50% off. I understand a cashier not knowing something, especially if new, but don't lie. Tonight I went there because they were still open and the one I've started going to wasn't. The price originally said $7.34. I handed the cashier $7.50. She then said it was $8 even. I figured maybe the price I saw was before tax and handed her $8 instead. Then I found on my receipt that I was charged a literacy donation fee. I was not asked did I want to round up or donate. I realize it's not much money, but the cashier needs to ask instead of just take. Donations are supposed to be voluntary. I will continue to drive to Pineville Rd's DG, which is further away but has much better service.

I only recently moved my family here to Long Beach, but the owner of our rental property said that this is a fairly new Dollar General. It’s a hop skip and a jump from our house, and they are still in the process of stocking the refrigerated food items.The lady at the front was super friendly with a welcoming smile, 😊 and helped me right off the bat!They have great prices and a good selection of beverages, household items, cleaning supplies, tools for emergency situations, and lots of other items. Enjoy this Dollar General for its location, I needed a CanOpener this morning and it took me five seconds to get to the store and there was no checkout line and only one other person in the store! Will shop here again if I am ever in a bind!

Not stocked good. 3 people working only 1 on register she was new and had to keep running to office asking questions while 2 other workers stayed in office. No one is friendly there anymore. Maybe corporate needs to do a surprise visit.

Good prices. Reasonably stocked. Awesome hours. And $5 off $25 every Saturday !! And if one place doesn't have it, the next one down the road probably will. These places are everywhere. They also do cash back for $1 which is cheaper than the ATM.

Not as thoroughly stocked as other stores. Nothing really bad to say about the store itself. I just moved here and needed some bathroom accessories. This store really doesn't have much in terms of home supplies, which was kind of surprising. Thought I should let others know who are looking for similar.... so here it is. 🙂

I was not so happy with my shopping trip today. I have been using the app for coupons and weekly sales paper but the app is not working very well and the store doesn't make items very good so it get very stressful trying to maximize my budget :) And after spending 30 minutes finding the right items for a $3.00 savings it didn't give it to me :)

Very clean store and a affordable place to shop the employees are very friendly if you are not able to walk to get what you need the employees​ will assist you. I love shopping at this store if you are a regular shopper the employees know you. This store has the most friendly employees than any Dollar General in the area. You will love shopping at this store.

Me and about 4 other people waited for 10 mins tonight to see if someone would unlock the door but no one came. Hours say open until 10pm and it’s 923. This is the only dollar general open in long beach so it’s really disappointing that the customer service lacks so much.

We walked right into Dollar General and picked up a flexible rake which will help with all the leaves and pine straw on our 3 acres. We got in and out quickly!

The DG has penny items every Tuesday you juat have to look for them. Last weeks penny item was cold and cough medicine for babys and summer 2016 stuff. Like two weeks ago they had lunchboxes. You can atill find the previous atuff that was months ago penny sale items still on sale today...you just have to look. They also have nine lives catfood for a dollar and the bag last up to a week

The people that work there are absolutely wonderful and it's great for a quick stop. But, basically anything clothes, toys, home goods are poor quality.
