You know I really don't visit this store often, but today I felt it was necessary to go here because I forgot to get my relative her drink from the store, and chicken from hogheaven, which is right down the road, about a mile to be exact, and they have some of the best chicken in laurel (smoked, BBQ or fried). Anyway, I ended up at this lil hood store as their customers call it, and I should've known something wasn't right because for once they didn't have six twelves beating down the walls. Guess their really trying to own the name that their overall target market has given them and try to manipulate the market by appearing to be apart of that particular group's culture, but not all of these little stores are the same, so I'm only speaking on this particular one because this lady that works the register was.awfully annoying and harassing with her eyes. I don't know her, but each time I looked her way she would have her head tilted upward, facing the window and her eye would be to the left corner of the socket looking at me. The first time I thought creepy then it went to maybe she's lesbian💁 but it never crossed my mind that she thought I was up to mischievous conduct. After getting my food, I headed towards the register and now this lady looking the other way like she wasn't just breaking her neck. So I placed my items on the counter and she looked at the codes that were on the bag and immediately began to ask me about some fish that I didn't know anything about and was insisting that I had fish in the waxed paper that was in my bag. Hell I had to look in there myself just to make sure I didn't, and when I looked up she was looking at me with those creepy eyes like she was waiting for answers from me again about what was in the bag. I went ahead and pulled the logs out that were wrapped in the waxed paper that she didn't get a good look of when she was watching from her register thats about 10ft away. Then she went on to ring me up and stopped in the middle of the transaction and said, "oh you got two turkey necks she only put 1 on the bag smh. I told her that the cook did it because she said they were small, so she then starts ringing me up and acting as if she was mad about something, so I politely told her that I didn't want the food because I was really feeling some type of way about how she had me under investigation about some damn food. She acted as if I was trying to be deceptive about some. This ultimately tells me that they don't have any professionalism as an organization, and with that comes many problems for customers and consumers who visit such establiments. She got mad after I told her that she can keep the food just let me get my drink and started telling me about how she has a business to 🏃 and she gotta know what's going out. She was acting as if I was trying to conceal some food or go out with extra; the bag was on the counter. If was that serious she should've opened the damn bag instead of trying to indirectly insinuate some wrongdoing or like I told her, "ASK YOUR CO-WORKER". I don't know either one of them, and I know the cook isn't gonna risk her job by throwing extra food in customers' bags; just complete stupidity on the cashiers' behalf. I see why people only go there for certain things like chicken and to use ebt card when they don't have a car or don't want to go to town. A drifting organization is all I see here with no integrity. Out of the 10 items , the chicken is ok when it's not salty and dry, the red beans and rice dish is always soupy and comes out the box already premixed, the ribs are tough and have to much fat on them. Although the turkney necks were skimpy looking, I did want to try them but the devil was busy. I hope I never have to visit this place again. I spend $200 dollars a week on just food and hope I never have to go around looking for the hook up on food, clothes, ebt fraud etc, and I like to be treated as such and like I told her, "I'm not the one to watch, don't be watching me". She need to talk to her co-worker
