My wife and I just recently moved to Laurel. We love the town and have found the people to be very polite and friendly. However our first experience at Piggly Wiggly was not so welcoming..The store was clean and well organized but the employees seemed not to be enjoying their jobs very much. We have come to expect smiling workers who acknowledge your presence and maybe even greet you briefly. Not so at this Piggly Wiggly. In fact one worker who was partially blocking an aisle gave my wife a very unpleasant look when she said "excuse me"as she tried to maneuver around him. I think we will stick to patronizing the stores where we feel our business is appreciated.

To the Esteemed Patrons of the Piggly Wiggly,Upon my recent visitation to this establishment of commerce, I have found myself most agreeably accommodated. The aisles, reminiscent of the well-ordered rows of a disciplined regiment, were stocked with provisions ample enough to sustain an army through winter at Valley Forge.The attendants, with the punctuality of a Continental Army courier, did provide service that was both swift and courteous. The quality of goods, particularly the produce, would surely have pleased even the discerning Martha.Yet, in the spirit of candor and with the resolve of a General facing his adversary, I must confess that there were moments when the fortitude of patience was tested. A slight delay at the check-out stand, akin to a minor skirmish, did little to dampen the overall satisfaction of my experience.Thus, I bestow upon Piggly Wiggly a commendation of four stars out of five, a tribute to its service to the community and a testament to its role in sustaining the citizenry.Yours with great respect,wew lad

I hadn't been to Mississippi in twenty years but I decided to take my mom to her her home town which is Heidelberg. One of the most pleasant experiences was we visited the Piggly Wiggly in Laurel Mississippi.The store was well stocked the cashiers were very friendly and courteous. And most of all the fried chicken and macaroni and green beans were so delicious I don't get that much flaver from the grocery stores in my hometown. I just want to give Piggly Wiggly a shout out and if i'm ever back in Mississippi I know where to go for the fried chicken and sides.

My wife had never seen a Piggly Wiggly. I thought it was a hoot to see one. Until we saw this one. Uhhh... frankly I was a tad depressed when we left the store. $6 for a little tub of potato salad? The same thing is $2.29 in Houston. The poor people of Laurel are being fleeced. This is Laurel, Not Hawaii. The fried chicken was so salty Lot's wife must be frying the chicken.

They have the best meat prices around.They are located in Laurel and I drive from Moselle to buy all my meat.The employees are so nice and helpful.I would highly recommend this store to anyone wanting to save on their meat.

Waited in line twenty minutes to get some fried chicken which was on special but the line never budged. I saw a worker pull some out but still no one in line received any chicken. There were at least 15 people all waiting going nowhere. I finally gave up and left. I'm never going back there ever.

This store is always clean and the shelf items are always pulled to the front. The intercom music is better than most local grocers as well.The absolute best part of this Piggly Wiggly is the deli. The fried chicken (a bit greasy but...) is amazing and very, very inexpensive. The pecan smoked ribs (11.99 for a rack) and Boston Butt (23 ish) are amazing for a grocery store. The only downside is they only smoke so much meat each day so there are times where it will not be available.

This is a great store. Location is excellent when you dont wanna deal with the big stores. The prices are great and the selections are awesome. They also cash checks here. So this is a great place for all your shopping needs. The store is very clean and has no clutter. The deli and bakery is a full service place for everything you need.

Usually good, friendly customer service. Sometimes some good sales. The majority of the time, the store is neat and organized. I also like the fried chicken they sell in the back of the store/good prices on their boxes of chicken, too!

One employee goes out of her way to harass and mock a regular trans customer, whispering about her to other employees and creating a hostile shopping environment. Store management knows but ignores it. If you believe a store should treat every customer with dignity, take your dollars elsewhere - and let them know why.

While in Mississippi we did stop at a Piggly Wiggly. It was clean, people were friendly, employees were friendly and helpful. As for prices my opinion is you just got to know your prices, you might get a bargain then again you might go somewhere else and get it cheaper.

Excellent meat dept with all kinds of bulk and normal meat options cheap. Outstanding deli section with friendly personnel. We were especially impressed with with Sylvia in the deli, very knowledgeable and friendly.

Prices are about right for smaller grocery store chain. Their Fried chicken is great but the deli is usually very busy especially Sundays

I was so disappoint and aggravated at the laurel store all wheel chairs were dead messed up I broke down in the middle of the store had to walk to the front. To get a buggie to put my grocery in just had surgery day before probably wouldn't t have been able to drive down but 2 allies cause all the stuff they have left down each allies then i got told id have to wait 40min for dark meat at the deli 😡😡😡

Wednesday is $3.99 chicken 8 piece they have a butcher to cut meat anyway that you want it. Fresh produce and full deli.

I guess I'm not the only one that have complaints about my job.The cashier was complaining, because she worked a double shift without help and still couldn't get any help this morning. And I say the prices or too high.

Their fried chicken is definitely worth 5 stars and some of the deli staff is very friendly and extremely patient, however waiting and waiting and waiting is extremely taxing on my nerves 🤐1 line for lunch 1 line chicken only, simple as that
