My two fur babies have been going here since I owned them. They love it! They act like they didn’t missed me when I pick them up after boarding lol. The doctor is nice and knowledgeable and the staff is sweet. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait time so be prepared if you go.

I took my new kitten there to get fixed. This place was recommended to me by some friends.They were very loving towards my princess. They were gentle, knowledgeable, and affordable. I would recommend giving them a try if you have fur baby health needs.

Great Great Vet & Staff!! I have been to lots of vets over the years with my dogs & I have to say that this was the first time that I found a vet that truly cares about your animal!! She is very caring, nice, and just all the way around outstanding!! I no longer have to go from vet to vet to find the right one, I found the vet that I have been looking for!! The staff is amazing! I will recommend this clinic over any clinic in desoto county! They are GREAT!! I love the way they care & treat your animal! It makes everything so much better!!

Awesome veterinarian and VERY AFFORDABLE!!! Doc is great! She doesn't charge an arm and a leg to do basic care for your fur babies. I have been taking my babies for over 10 years. I refuse to go anywhere else.

I dropped off my two dogs for boarding, all my shot records were up to date, when i picked them up my bill was over 100 more - BECAUSE- they gave my dogs the flu shot with out asking me or with my consent! This is NOT the way you do business - YOU DO NOT give pets any surprised shots (which i have neve given my dogs that shot) to peopl's pet with out the owners even knowing about it! So be aware of any surprised charges or stuff given to your pets with you knowing!

Open Arms Animal Hospital is terrific. The sweetest Veterinary that we have had in a long time. Our pup needed his wellness check up, we are not from the area, she was wonderful. Pricing was great. I was looking for a veterinary when we were in the area and chose this one cause I love the name. And her and her staff truly do have OPEN ARMS for our furry friends. Thank you

The lady at desk was nice and respectful. The doc was ok at first but I tried to pay and she wouldn't take any payment because I was from out of town and lost an ID and would not accept my payment without an ID so I couldn't take care of dogs even though I had the moneyNever going back only get 2 stars because of receptionist/assistant

Dr. Rickett & her staff are absolutely wonderful, they're compassionate and really care about your babies and you. Dr. Rickett gets on the floor with my big boy & he loves her. Very caring staff & I wouldn't trust my baby with anyone else.

Great staff great place to take your pet if they need medical help or just vaccinations and will help in the process if you need to tag your pet overseas. The doctor is very professional and takes time to talk 2 each person that brings their pet in like they were family. I have six kitty cats and I have all been there. The prices are reasonable too but for me that's secondary. If I could I would give him a round of applause every time I visited. Thank you for a truly kind an animal friendly Clinic.

First, they are absolutely great with my baby girl! She is so scared of everything but they handle her with patience but did what they had to do! I wasn't there forever. They really do have the best prices, i called ALOT of places and no one touched their price. I would definitely recommend this vet and the staff. The ladies at the front desk were very nice as well 😊

I was sad day as we has to say goodbye to our 15 year old Pug, Jackson. I wouldn't have wanted to do ot anywhere else and the staff couldn't have been more supportive, emotional, understanding or professional and it 9s hard to check all those boxes at the same time. We love Doc and her staff.

Staff was very friendly and great with my puppy. It was the first time I've been there after switching vets and I'll continue to do so. The Dr was easy to talk to, knowlegable, quick and genuinely seems like a good person. Prices are cheaper than most other places as well. Highly recommended

Open arms is the best in town in my opinion. She has been taking care of my 6 dogs since she opened up years ago, and I would not trust anyone else with my animals. She is so compassionate, caring, and her prices are very fair. She truly loves animals, and it shows with the level of care she provides. Thanks Doc for all you do for so many of us :-)

The Dr. was kind and caring. She and her staff treated me and my fur baby with respect and hospitality. The prices were reasonable for someone like me on a fixed income and my dog loved them. He was nervous so the tech just held him and hugged him and petted him until the doctor got there to examine

I boarded my cat, Warf, at Open Arms until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge at age 23 years and 3 months. My Riker loves the terrific staff of techs, and they love him. Very good Vet on staff, also reasonable prices, just wish they had sent my dog home with antibiotics. She came down with an infection at her stitches. Had to treat her surgery stitches, on n off for two weeks. She's good now, thank God?!!!!

WORST VET EVER ! The staff is so unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend ever again . It use to be ok but seems like the doctor can’t keep staffs she’s always getting new staff and I see why ! This place is terrible and I’m not happy with it

Dr Rickett has been great to my pups foe many years, but I am tired of her staff's customer service. Their secretaries have always been rude, but today they outright refused service. Please take your pets anywhere but here.

First off, I haven't even had my baby-dog stay with these folks yet. I will be leaving her this Friday thru Monday, but...They were so nice, helpful and patient over the phone.We live several hundred miles away, so the fact that they were very cooperative, helpful and succinct in letting us know what they'll need and so on, as well as having easy hours and a great boarding price. I could tell they are animal lovers just by talking with them (two separate employees), and friendly folks, too.I am looking forward to letting my baby be taken care of by them. I know she'll love 'em.I don't know what the one anonymous 1-star poster's problem was...probably got turned down for a date or something. :)If my opinion changes after this weekend, I'll let y'all know here. Otherwise, all is fine with that pup of mine!

I have taken all of my animals to see Doc, she is awesome! She cares about every animal and person that walks through those doors. She takes time to talk to you and to explain everything that you need to know about your pet. I'll never take my pet to anyone else.

Open Arms is amazing! The staff is friendly and the doctor is the best I have ever met. She was ridiculously nice to us, treated my dog like her own, and explained everything in terms we could understand.She and her staff saved my beloved Daisy after her neck was ripped open by another dog and we thought her chance of surviving was very low. The emergency animal hospital in Horn Lake wanted to charge me almost five times as much to treat the same wound, and that cost didn't include the seven days of boarding and constant care that Daisy got at Open Arms.I will never take my companion animals anywhere else. She takes care of rabbits and other small animals as well! (:
