As I was checking out in this store yesterday, the store manager was verbally berating an employee the entire time I was checking out and even as I was leaving. She was not reprimanding her, she was abusing her.This young lady broke my heart. I wanted to intervene so badly, but I didn’t want to make it worse. The manager was going off on her over and over and over again about self check out beer purchase that didn’t even involve the employee. That’s what was so absurd.I watched this young lady stand there and respectfully try to explain that she had nothing to do with the transaction, and the employee actually knew the solution. I was about to melt. I took my purchases and left very rattled.The amount of pressure exerted on these store employees to operate these entire stores by themselves is ridiculous. This store has been closed twice in the last couple of days because they couldn’t stock inventory. What gives?

It's a typical dollar general, with clerks ,(the manly looking crew cut)disrespecting disable veterans. Working with corrupt government officials in Tunica & DeSoto county MS.
